All Glass Convection Vape Kit.

Don't know if this is the right place for this post but while my Haze Square was in the shop I put together this all glass torch heated convection Vape kit.

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/283221989870

Not claiming I invented anything, I have just assembled the pieces and I'm offering the kits to others.

This device works great as a pipe or with your water pipe. It's my go to now.

Hello there ! You concept reminds me of the HD vape ,which is now long gone ,though.
Do you inhale while you are heating or you inhale after heating ?
Do you source your glass parts from China or is it US made ? It looks to me like an Arizer glass kit paired with a J-hook.. :)

You can inhale while heating or after.

All the glass comes from China but I have not seen any quality issues.

Bingo on the last point. Like I said, not claiming to have invented anything, just making it easy to assemble the pieces.

Interesting cool on you for putting this together for people.

I saw this and was expecting it to function more like a sticky brick with a smaller single flame going into the whip attachment opening.
I did play with that in the beginning but found that it was too easy to combust. A longer whip might help that. the best technique is to hit while heating.

Here is a demo with the pipe stem. Keep in mind its 45 degrees in my shop and all the glass and everything is that cold.

Cool, the US version of the vapocane ;) -iirc pretty unknown and unavaiable outside EU, here s the short thread about it:

Yah, when I first put this together I though i might have created something new. I had just vaped like 10 bowls paying with it so I wasn't thinking quite clearly. I went inside, told my wife about it, then looked up "All glass convection vape" and found the Vapocane and the Elev8er :\

@RogueGuy There are also other all glass convection vapes or were ,checkout the Gn0mes.
The maker of the Elev8r also had the same impression like you for his creation :D,even got bitchy and did a threat with a patent talk and shit about it when he saw someone else using similar tech without knowing that it was available years prior.
For a fact here is one of my creations which was done prior the popup of the elev8r ,i would say it is pretty fucking similar :D... http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/testtube-vaporizer.24156/
So dont sweat it on the genuinity stuff, as long as you provide good service and product you will get some love ! :))
Btw Vapocane is hell of fragile vaporizer and pain in the ass to make it work like i want it to .

All glass butane. Interesting. I'm not a fan of things that can break but this jhook Sherlock butane style looks fun !! I can imagine it working great in my D-020 rig too !

P.A.M. salutes your contribution to the community in bringing a low cost quality kit together. Even if not "invented" , the simple fact of sourcing the parts and pieces, putting it together and offering it reasonably is good vapesmanship on your behalf!

I may have to try it and give your kit/service it's first FC user review/feedback . Do you ship to Canada?

@AbysmalVapor I like your device. There are a lot of interesting ideas on line. There is a page on FC for a DIY one where you slip a one hitter into a test tube and heat the end, its pretty cool.

Did u try holding a triple torch vertical in front of the intake? that might work better than aiming the torch into the hole...

:D Word! - it's also the biggest bitch in my arsenal, honestly i only bought it bc the j-hook in the vapocane gun set is so nice with the standing feet:

That J hook is cool. I have only seen the Vapocane used on a water pipe. Nice case too! I looked into cases, they are really expensive.

I just dont like the idea of breathing the butane into the device. Any thoughts? I am really interested in the Sticky Brick though.

In regards to case for the Stack , I'm already on it trying to find something suitable, for my use. I will share once finding something (and having received my SmokeStack) .
I love finding low cost , sometimes household items to use as accessory hacks for my Vaporizer . Examples: piece of recycled plastic for battery cutoff, bamboo skewer for stir stick cut to size to fit in battery compartment, dollar store waterproof camping match tube for single 18650 battery case. Repurposed GoPRo camera padded case for my LB portable vape and so on..

My Stack was shipped on schedule , pretty fly for a Rogue Guy!

It's on its way. Hopefully it all makes it there in one piece.

I use an old Bolle skis goggle bag to transport.

your version should work pretty similar to a flip brick imo - i was also hesistant about inhaling butane, but after the first try i realized damn that's a quite nice and different vape signature...
It probably won't be up to medical approval, but as long as it's a decent torch with good butane there shouldn't be more harmful stuff in the air than eg walking on the street during rush hour...

Hmmm...while I don't have the Smoke Stack, I do have the pieces to make something nearly identical. I'll have to try this. @RogueGuy , your prices seem quite reasonable, and a person would be hard pressed to do better on cost for the parts. Congratulations on a brilliant idea, and thanks for sharing it. If I weren't broke, a Smoke Stack would be mine.

Thanks @Madri-Gal.

I had the top two pieces sitting around so i started fooling around with them. I tried other things for a heater/cap. like a banger and quartz NC tip, surprisingly neither worked well, and other wider mouth whip attachments. In the end the whip attachment with the rings worked best. i think because it has the smallest intake opening of anything I tried.

I buy in bulk so that I can put the kit together for around what it would cost if you bought them separately. Plus its a convenience not to have to order from multiple sources and spend time looking for the pieces.

Im going to stock caps/heaters at cost plus shipping and handling because I have broken 2 in 9 months of regular use which would be mostly daily.

The SmokeStack is here !

along with these cool "Vape Tubez Kit" as a gift !! Thank you , @RogueGuy , what a great gesture and added touch that is! Greatly appreciated !

I did have a chance to try the Stack for a couple bowls , it works, my torch was too small though, a friend came over with his kitchen torch which is bigger, but I might need more heat still, lol, I've never been a fan of long heat up time with the vapcap so the Stack might prove to be a good patience therapy activity for sure :lmao:think i just found a good flame placement though

It's cool and fun , I did get a nice hit or two from it so far, I definitely see myself fiddling around with it , trying stuff while chillin and vaping

I wonder if adding glass beads in the cap secured by a screen would help conserve and generate heat ? The idea is from @VCBud 'a G43 who uses glass beads inside a glass piece ;)

I found other uses for my new j-hook already , it's a fun addition to the vapcap and Lil'Bud.

IMG-3672.jpg

Overall , everything 110% , great communication and service , fast shipping , good packaging, as described , lol.,

But really , a quick trouble free purchase like it should for something as such. as mentioned in some previous posts , its easier then sourcing out pieces one by one if not having much glassware to begin with. The clips , tools , screens , all useful . I'll get great use of the Vape Tubez Kit as well !

Go Rogue ! Vape on!

@P.A.M. glad everything made it and thanks for the write up.

I definitely found that the right torch makes all the difference. I went to my local head shop and bought the torch with biggest flame I also use a basic small propane plumbers torch that you can get at Wall Mart for $15.

@VCBud I think you are on to something. I have searched for something to put in the cap but could not find the right thing. I just so happen to have 2 8mm glass beads and I put them in the heater cap and used the bucket screen to keep them in. Not 100% sure they made a difference but I dont see how they couldn't help, being that they will definitely retain heat.

@P.A.M. thanks again for giving the SmokeStack a try. Keep playing with it with a bigger torch, I know you will find the sweet spot and some big clouds.

Awesome , cool beads lol. Yup, throwing the flame above the rings almost in a horizontal angle flowing across ribs to tip seems to improve heat-up time and result in HUGE! Clouds.

Congratulations , @RogueGuy , wishing Rogue Wax Works the best !
