Ditanium vaporizer

The DDave rimless basket screens fit perfectly in the OEM glass handpiece and will hold as little as .05

The screens hold their position at the halfway point very well, which puts your dry herb very close to the titanium heat nipple.

I demonstrate this (as well as the 14mm DDave mod method) in my Ditanium review video

Great review!

I would also like to request the soundtrack for this review. There is some excellent vocal work.

Great review!.....or maybe I really like it because I agree with it!

I'm still learning and playing, but it has quickly become the only thing I use at home. I love having it on and waiting.

I'm really looking forward to pulling out my tackle boxes this weekend and playing with glass!

This thing can really rip if you want it to. I'm guessing it can be sipped upon as well, but I've been having too much fun blowing huge clouds to give it a fair chance.

One large negative, it's killing my tolerance! These stacked shots are at the root of it!

One serious small negative in agreement with the review, the small useable range of function of the dial. I'm guessing this won't be an issue in a week or so when I've settled into a comfort zone and have stopped playing. I'm still wearing the VAS blinders, but it's noticeable. It's tough to see the dial and very small adjustments can have large effects. 11:30 to 12:30 changes both the dab and flower experience a lot IMO.

With being analog and made of stock parts, I wonder how consistent everyone's units are? I'm guessing noon on my unit to be about 385F for flower.

Very happy with the purchase and have full confidence a little fine tuning will improve the experience more.

I'm guessing this will keep gaining momentum and become a staple unit in the industry, at least in the "crowd in the know" so the speak.

I wonder if this could be plugged into something else that would let you regulate the voltage a bit so as to have more finely tuned control over the temperature? In other words widen the range between 11:30-12:30.

I have not done a lot of digging but I think the regulator board would cause you problems. Without it yeah you could totally just keep it turned all the way up and control the temp via a control unit.

It got stolen.

Yup, I ordered it while I was away. It was going to show up the same day I would return (Friday). I was sooo stoked because it'd be there waiting for me when I got home. My reward for some serious BS that I had to deal with while away. Fast forward a couple of days and the tracking finally says, "delivered." I'm happy as hell because I had 90 minutes to go on my commute home. I live in an apartment building and as soon as you walk passed the vestibule you are in the mail area. No way this thing fits in my mailbox so it'll be on the floor or in front of my door because I live on the first floor.

Its NOT there. I ordered from puffitup and they immediately had me open a claim with USPS. It sucks but they're customer service has been really nice about it. At least there's that. I'll know more about it on Monday.

Ugh... so sorry to hear this! Hoping for a speedy resolution.

Once again, it still amazes me how the mighty USA can go on with this nightmare and joke of how you guys get your mail, the sheer likelihood and no doubt very common occurrence of it getting stolen.

Let alone the permanent uncertainty, insecurity, fear about not being in to get to your safe...I mean, Mailbox! before it might be too late.

In so many ways, the UK is backwards and redundant and archaic as heck. But in contrast to over your slide I'm actually pretty pleased with how our deliveries work over here and I'm never really experiencing much insecurity or worry at all about my parcels reaching me safely.

Fail Safe measures such as leave with neighbours or at local depots have worked perfectly for me over many years.
No way and how could I live with the anxiety about getting to my mailbox in time when there is something precious coming.
@goodpunk6 best of luck man getting a speedy and fair resolution.

Piu has always had a sign for option on shipping.........do you do that over there?
Yes we have "Recorded delivery" options. Its €6.50 or £7 within UK, next day usually.
But we just don't have mailboxes as such we have letterboxes on our front doors and if a parcel doesn't fit through then the standard approach is to ring the doorbell and if there is no answer to leave with a neighbour or come back another time or leave in a local storage depot.

Or another safe place of our designation, like over the gate or in the porch etc.

But we also used to put a note on your door saying if no answer "please leave at number 38 34 29 or 27" for example the note got wet from rain ages ago and we haven't got round to putting it back due to laziness yet but it hasn't even been a problem.

Most of the time there is somebody here when the post comes anyway, but we are always taking parcels for our neighbours and vice versa.

I pretty much have total peace of mind about my parcels being delivered to me safely and not being stolen in fact I don't think there's ever been a case when we have had Mail be intercepted buy a devious third party.

I just purchased this as a wedding gift for my best friend. We are roommates so it's mine too. This thing is awesome. First major vaporizer I've ever used and I'm in love. We are going to be buying some more silicone hoses and maybe a splitter of some kind. Longer hose would be amazing so we don't all have to huddle around it. We use it with our water pipes and we were toying with the idea of making it so we could have it connected to all 3 of our pieces. But just hitting the whip straight is fantastic. Almost has a menthol sensation when using flower. We dropped some distillate onto the nail and it knock us all on our asses.

I've left it at 12:30 ish and I've had no issues. Going to put some kind of a dial decal around the knob to be more exact. I recommend getting the carb cap for it. We tried to buy one locally and the design of the nail makes it hard to get a cap. At least at the one smoke shop we tried.

Take a look at the website for the Evo. They have a 4 whip setup in their store I'm sure you could make work.

I use just the single whip and glass mouthpiece, it cools great even without water.

Both awesome videos @ohmygodimsohigh laughed my ass off. Even though not an Apple to Apple comparison, still showcased both well. Would be interested in a Ditanium to Flower Pot comparison.

Enjoying the glass hand piece from sneaky Pete, wish it were made a tad thicker though but it works well and the built in glass screen is nice. Also liking this other one I cobbled together with a 14mm female to 18mm female adaptor along with the Oregon glass blower 18mm stem.

Scored a nice bag for under $10 at Harbour Freight tools perfect for toting or storing the Ditanium and all its accessories.

Really cool stuff here. I can't wait to get my hands on mine. I too would like to see a Ditanium vs Flowerpot comparison.

Count me as another PIU customer who had an excellent customer service experience with them in ordering this product. I had a minor issue, but they handled it promptly and professionally for me. First time using that merchant, but I am impressed.

I've been using the Ditanium for about a week, and I'm extremely satisfied with the performance. Some of the best-tasting vapor I've ever had has come out of this little box. I did side by side comparisons with my Cloud Evo and Herbalizer, and the Ditanium won both times.

However, I have had to learn to become very careful in handling this thing. The way the glass handpiece connects horizontally to the base makes it extremely susceptible to being accidentally yanked off. The glass doesn't form a perfectly tight connection with the titanium joint, so the slightest tug on the silicone tube can pull the whole thing off the base and spill all of your material everywhere (and potentially crack your handpiece). And because the tube is so short, it's very easy to overextend if you're not careful. You are basically forced to keep your rig and the base directly next to each other, and hover over them to ensure they remain perfectly stationary at all times.

Anyone know where I can purchase some longer tubing that'll work with it?

This is what happened to me on the first night I used it. A bunch of friends came by and right at the end of the night I accidentally pulled the tube out and it hit my living room floor and it cracked. ’ive gone ahead and ordered the titanium piece that apparently uses thicker glass.

I don't have a Ditanium yet, but I have a Da Buddha and a Silver Surfer (Both whip vapes that use a glass wand like the Ditanium), and I've never attempted to leave the wand on the vape in between hits. I hold it on there during the hit (I have my hand there anyway to twist it a bit during the hit to ensure even extraction), then pull it away between hits.

@freddiegibbs I was thinking the same thing about the hose. Home Depot or Lowes. It seem ti be 3/8ths silicone hose. 10ft would be cheap and be enough to last a long time. I like how it is just pushed in the glass piece. No need for adapters or anything. All in all I am hugely satisfied with the Ditanium.

From the company:

“The tubing can be cleaned, but over time you may want to replace. The tubing is 7/16 Id silicone but 3/8” is fine also.
The units are 4 x 4 x 6” there is also the knob and power cord that protrude to consider if getting a case. Hope you decide to pick the unit up!”
