The Mi1 & 1.5 were unregulated, but Mi2 is regulated like the Splinter.

I have 1 of the earliest Splinters. I bought it before announcement of the Z. If I had to do it over again, I would only have gotten the Z. The heater has far more gusto.

Oh no, this Mi2 is certainly a full bore... When I hit that button, I just imagine those Inception Horns "bWAAAAHHHHHHHHH" "bWAAAAHHHHHHHHH"

Actually Milaana and Splinter have same heater, the difference is having a full unit with battery power that is unregulated vs separate taller with a mod to control power.

Oh, I wasn't clear then: I was speaking from a Vape addict, want to try everything standpoint:
The SplinterZ, for all intents and purposes, is a very similar experience in regards to usage, though beefier heater is more capable, no? I recommended Milaana because it's DIFFERENT? Don't get me wrong, I certainly double up- (V1? V2? Plus my new mission of figuring out a Mi1/1.5 before fucking JULY?! save me!! :D)
but from a "let me drive them all" place, there'd be more contrast offered by the Mi2 than another Splinter...

However, as I said before, I've no Z experience, and am ashamed that I'm only Chinese on the Splinter front. I too hope to get Z'd at some point...
Cheers!

The Z is for real. No shame in the Chinese Splinters, apart from your inadequacy as an Instagram follow
[his account is comprised entirely of rbt contest photoshops].

From the conversations in Ryan's live streams it sounds like the Chinese Z is every bit as good as the homegrown ones. And if my V1 is any indication RBT is in fine fettle going forward.

I don't know what made you say that, you are so on top of everything RBT (and I love you for it) I am so surprised you'd make a mistake like that! Milaana always unregulated, even the upcoming Mi3. Sorry not meaning to be rude just teasing and shocked I guess bc I hold you in such high esteem on the info side  I mean we all make mistakes, more than my own fair share I'm sure, it does make sense based on the product we are using! :ko:

Ah yes, totally. It depends how you look at it: collect a separate vape with similar vapor yet different experience, or the same product line using the same power source you are already familiar with and same control over the experience to be more manual or more automatic but with different vapor experience and capabilities... I certainly see both sides!

Sorry to disappoint, SS. Well, I did think the Mi2 was a regulated version. But I never followed the Mi because of the all wood design. No pun intended, but holding a hunk of wood in hand doesn't appeal to me; I don't like the feel of wood. Hence, my going with a Splinter & Z because I do love holding box mods. When I've given Mi updates from a RBT steam it's just been about when more stock would be available.

I tried putting a small dab of salt nic e juice on a bowl cause i see RBT do it on his lives, oh man what a head change! I kinda like it, i had a habit of combusting and then smoking a cigg 3 years ago before bed. Im excited because my friend who combusts uses cigg tobacco with his weed and its really bad for you. He is constantly coughing all the time. I wonder if it will work for combustion.

The Mi2 although electrically unregulated has a carb, which helps the user to regulate draw resistance and internal air pressure. Even with the carb fully open, its draw is more restricted than the earlier generations.

The V1 looks fantastic, makes my US splinter look like a prototype;). Guess what, 22mm stems work:tup:. Fuck yeah!!! So good to have my arsenal of stems available again for use, to hell with that 19mm:evil:
Say what? WITH a screen? Which? I’ve tried on two v1s and two different greenie rbt stems. Only one even close to locks in, other spins. Neither seem to like a screen (hard rimmed or screen rimmed edge.)
Lucky!

I think I may have been under the impression that it was regulated because AJS said he preferred the Mi2 because of the increased restriction. I took it to mean regulation. Don't know why in the world I assumed this, but, however illogical, I did. :hmm: I don't want to own the Mi, but I would like to try a Mi 1 or 1.5 & 2 just once. Just to experience them. It's understandable that I would like the Splinter coupled with a box mod because I love the design & feel of the Ghost.

My Mi stems all use rimless basket screens, back in the day that was the RBT standard. Some folks had the top hats from 420edc but I never tried them that way.

Edit- just tried it with a rimmed screen and it doesn’t seal, no issues if used with a rimless screen, no different than my Milaana or OG splinter

It would seem that there is some inconsistency in the depth of the female joint in the V1. I'm not sure why, exactly, and the fact that they are built to a spec in China makes it a little surprising but it seems apparent from folks descriptions. I guess folks with 22mm male joints will have to just give it a try, but it violates the spec so it shouldn't be that common.

Drop your Splinter on a single 18650 box mod with unregulated mode. Instant Milaana, or close enough.

Although unlike the Milaana, it's likely to topple over if set down.

I just got the last Splinter v1 in stock from vapefiend i feel so lucky, i was going to do it in the morning but something made me do it tonight. Looked back and said out of stock! If i looked in morning and it had gone i would have been devestated, also got the XL8R set.

Is the cruise mode on the myevic firmware the same as the funky junky one where it powers down between pulls? Have a Reulux Gen 3 dual so I tried it on wattage mode with an eliquid tank using the myevic firmware and it fires continuously.

Nope, no eco on myevic. Only Tubo has the added features for our type of vaping, surmyevic was designed for ecig use so its autofire is just straight on so need to be careful. My RXG3D is set to a 25sec autofire using power mode and I am also more mindful when set to a high wattage

btw @Shit Snacks , I picked up some 3000mah LG HG2's for use in my single cell Sinuous P80. They seem to work great! From my uneducated perspective, function seems same or better, while getting several more chambers per charge.
Thanks, I like these!

I just ordered a v1! Pretty damn excited. I have a bunch of mods..but was curious if anyone had any experience with the geek vape 26650 aegis. I like that the 510 base is wide and may look good together with the splinter. And if so maybe some different settings to play with. Thanks

Idk which ones ship with Milaana, but these are brownies and work real good.
