Our dealer kit has been purchased from DynaVap. I'm excited to see what new doors the "LEGO of portable vapes" opens for NewVape. So far the company DynaVap has been a gem to work with.

The first "Flowerpot Bench" will be on the cnc mill today.

Yeah, can we get this translated into human? :)

Whats a dealer kit?

Whats a flowerpot bench?

Sounds exciting! I cant for the life of me imagine how the two devices could be combined into some form of new... er... vape. Or are you just machining parts for dynavap?

So many questions.... (well, about three questions).

Ok dealer kit means a pre configured package of most popular parts when new re seller signs on. NewVape also sells other companies products & DynaVap seems like a no brainier. It seems like a low maintenance, american made, very popular product line, that happens to fit within our margin requirements. I'm also considering the fact that we might figure out a way to help make them better (pax pusher). Currently our 18 cnc's are all producing newvape.com and firingpins.com products.

The Flowerpot "Bench" is our new tray concept. Hot coil on one end and dee-bowler on the other end. Hopefully we will have rev-1 later today for group discussion. Also open to name suggestions.

NewVape and DynaVap are some of the best examples of how vape companies should be run, this can only lead to good things! Very excited to hear the good news.

Can't wait to see the new Bench too!

I am over trying to keep the carb cap super clean. I leave it on accidentally once in a while after a dab and it turns nasty black cooked on. Was brushing it clean quick but I keep forgetting so fuck it.

I accidentally keep mine on too long sometimes and it starts to brown, immediate swipe with a cotton bud while the cap is still hot gets it clean again.

Unless you've REALLY REALLY baked it in of course :D

Any pro tips for keeping flower particles out of percolator?

I'm already running the double weave screen but I figured you folks might know some more cunning tricks for keeping glass clean.

2 screens? :)

A whisp of cotton wool under the bowl, or hemp fibre. The tiniest, fine layer, should trap any more particles. Plus it'll collect reclaim for emergency vaping/eating.

Yea, it gets real baked. But I found out if you let it really bake on it kind of just chips off easy.

Double weave screen keeps way more ABV out of the water than the normal screens. Ash catcher sounds great though.

Yes! The best. Use a screen in the joint portion of my Panhead bowl with a bit of hemp wick. It could affect the flavor depending on your palette, but hemp wick is super cheap and easy to change out. I just use some tweezers to remove the gunked up hemp wick to replace.

It keeps it clean enough that it's so easy to reclaim the bowl or piece. I made the horrible mistake of dabbing that as is and boy was it effective but tasted god awful and I don't even have that refined of a palette.

Now I just keep it stored for edible usage.

I love it! Everything finds its place. I like the round one too. (Not having used any of them)

Now we need  wood inserts or something, to cover the empty holes, for all the people that do not yet have all your accessories, but want to upgrade later. To keep the dust out.

How do you guys empty the abv around the debowler spike when it is full? I probably would take all accessories off the stand and then dump the abv. Or maybe trying to hold everything in place while dumping, for the small one. (Well, fuck wood inserts in that case )

And we need some kind of adapter for the fp so you can heat the vapcap on it. lol j/k!

Edit: Please replace "we need" by something that sounds friendly and not demanding, if it would make this impression.

Yeah, I take everything off of mine and to dump the AVB but I’d rather not have to...that’s the only glaring issue for me, and with room to put more in it it’s also a bigger issue than it is with the smaller stand.

It’s not a deal-breaker though, and I’d still recommend it. I’m sure I’ll buy one soon too. I might just use the round stand for AVB and see if I can cut a silicone mat to fit in that area - or maybe NewVape already has some that would fit if it’s the same size as the cutout in the concentrate stand?

Or maybe I’ll try to make an insert that fits in there and goes around the spike so I can just lift it out...or NewVape could if they see this as an issue that needs to be addressed. :)

One more thing; since I already have a spike and 2 posts (one Ti), if I keep both stands I’d like to be able to buy the base without those parts.

And this is the beauty of collaborative engineering. Thank you for your suggestions.

Tool shed rev-a and is only a starting point.
Dumping the avb will require removal off all tools. That's a good point I hadn't considered.
Is it worth an extra 50 bucks for adding a detachable (rare earth magnets) avb section.
Purchasing the base only is doable.
The armband grinder is 3" dia so a concentrate pad should be easy to acquire.

The insulated (wood) carbcap handles were started yesterday.
The smile on the face of the cnc lathe machinist when I handed him his first stick off wood was priceless.

The Alum dabber caps were also scheduled for next week.

An appropriate size glass jar would remedy this. But yes, its been my only issue with the stand is emptying it of abv. I've gone full time dabbing but had switched to using a separate jar for abv and removing the debowler spike.

Another user pages and pages back found a jar from ikea (i think) that perfectly fit the dimensions of the round abv section. I now use that part to hold Q-Tips.

A removable abv section, connected by magnets is a great idea @NewVape710 . I dont think I need a new stand (I still want that exquisite caddy! :) ), but I do think a removable abv section is a great idea for a new stand.

In other news, I just dropped my SiC dish into a jar of hot water for its daily clean along with the terp pearls. A couple of stirs of the water and the SiC dish has come up totally clean as usual, and so have the terps pearls! No scouring needed!

Hurrah!

I was thinking something like a bowl with the debowler in the middle that you could lift integrally to remove, but the removable magnet section is a wonderful idea from @NewVape710 that I would prefer I think.
But buying one of these is not possible for me atm, the small stand has everything I need and would do.
I would change my mind after a lottery win of course.:) Or in a couple of months or so.

@emmdeemo thanks for the ideas I like them.

Glad it was helpful! I’d pay $50 for a good removable AVB section, but I may not be in on Rev-A because I’ve got a lot of other stuff to pay for in the next couple of months. Plus I’d rather see how it develops a little before buying since I’m here a lot and I don’t want to end up wanting to buy nearly the same stand twice!

Also good news on the dabber caps! Assuming they come out well and fit in the stand, I’ll want a few of those too; same with an insulated carb cap handle.

On the concentrate pad, I could put one in the 3” hole in the old stand if I use the new one for AVB, but what I was considering was putting a rectangular pad in the AVB area on the new stand and just using the old stand for AVB since I wouldn’t have to remove tools to dump it. I have an armband grinder now though, so I’d want to use the 3” hole in the new stand for that. :)

By the way, can you explain what will and won’t fit in the bowl holes? Will the 6 that look the same in pictures all take at least 14mm and 18mm bowls/posts?

Oh, and did you have any specific ideas for the section under the hot post(s)?

Since I don’t see a better place for them I’ll probably use it to store a tiny screwdriver for tightening the bowl handles, Q-Tips, a brush and maybe a toothpick if it’s still useful after I pick up a decent brush.

Overall, while I don’t really *need* it since I have the round stand, I like it and I do want to pick one up when I can. For overall sales though, I am a little concerned about the price point, especially with a removable AVB section...I understand it’s a much larger block that is necessarily more expensive, but I recommend the FlowerPot a lot and the price of a full setup is already daunting for a lot of people.

Not a big complaint, just something to think about and maybe get more feedback on if they don’t fly off the shelf. Otherwise, great job as usual! :D
