@dendamper Hello there and thanks for keeping strong and sticking with me. I havent wanted to say much as I didnt want to jinx it as I have had many many delays in the past. My guy is working on the CE application and doing the papers now for this and hopes to have this done and WS available for sale this month through his site at https://www.vaporisateur.net/ so get over there and tell him to get his butt in gear and lets make this happen! BTW I have family Houliart, its a neat little village I think you would call it.
I guess your guy at vaporisateur.net is still in hibernation. It's been a week since i logged in and made my request. you definitely jinxed it! Seeing all the new available woodscents on your site makes this waiting game even worse. has anybody on this thread experience with ordering your woodscents directly from Ed in the usa to europe? Any troubles at customs?

Good morning everyone, is awful cold down here in my neck of the woods, probably the coldest its been all year. Have one last weekend for the ducks and have a golden ticket to the WMA in the delta woot woot!

Ok so here is a pretty big UPDATE, WoodScents is going live in Europe tonight at my guys site https://www.vaporisateur.net/ I have been working with him close to 10 years now. Great people there very helpful and knowledgeable. I know he has been working his butt off to get all the info correct and translated. Wow, how cool is that??? So get over there if you are in the EU and grab a WS! Been a long time coming.

Oh have a look at that piece above after I did my thing

Made the stand from the side of that large blank, recessed a magnet under the stem and filled that side and void with CA glue to sand it flush with the top of the stand for a clean look and feel. Stem and wong came from a different blank, all same species. Am really happy with how this worked out and hope guy is as well. What do you all think?

@pxl_jockey That was a nice Redwood Burl WS, if you decide to get another down the road you know I will work with you to make sure its what youre after you know that. You are right bro, I can tell if it will work or wont. I look at em several times over before I mark either end before it ever gets worked up. Even the most least figured blank, I will look at the grain and see which end will look best from top to bottom. If there is only one teeny tiny burl eye in a walnut and will only show if its turned where its at the top, then thats how I mark it and thats how it gets worked up. No doubt bro, that is for sure a crazy looking WS specimen aint it.

@dendamper My man I will always do my best to reply to every post, as I have said before you took the time to stop by here and post then I better take the time and acknowledge that. I hope you like the update above and by all means reach out to them. I know he said there are already a few that have been spoken for so hit them up. I assure you my man at Vaporisateur is very solid and will do you right. I will give you a heads up that he will only be stocking walnut maple and cherry, any other species will have to gotten through my site and figure if you want one other than the domestics you better grab it soon as they move quickly. Get at me by email and lets talk more about it. I know and work with the other dealers you have mentioned and am sure they will also at some point offer the WS at some point. We just gotta cross one bridge at a time is all. Yes thats hows you spell the name of that place. Is a nice area was quiet and relaxing. Was fun to walk those streets and the countryside as well as in the couple pubs there at night. Pls let me know if there is anything else I can do for you and I wish you the best.

@Modicum I appreciate your post on your experience with the WS and the glass fumed stem, its a great accessory for the WS and to me improves the experience to me as well. Appreciate always your posts giving advice to others.

@-dab8- Hope you are enjoying your pieces bro!

@Summer Were you able to get a look at it?

@Whisper Glad you got it and hope you are enjoying it.

@doublerainbow I am sorry I know nothing about glass.

@sisonpyh Yes sir you are right, pennies a day, not sure where its posted at but I remember my guy @Stevenski posted that. Glad you find it to be a great place here as well. Got my 12th year in biz coming up soon so gotta cross that bridge. Also gotta make the 2019 body style happen this year. So many good things happening, keep an eye out.

@StoneMan I have always liked the look and simplicity of the Orbiter, I dont have one but guess I should at some point, be neat to just have lol. I am really glad you like that fumed glass stem and I like your recent piece above, very cool! You know me I will do what I do til I cant do it anymo.

@LesPlenty You are right bro, there is a slight difference across all the units pretty much. Sounds like you have nailed down your technique very well.

@blokenoname You are right also, the cartridge heater I use has a small tolerance as well. You are also right about species and density. My super tight grain species like Cocobolo and even the Amboyna bodies are hotter than the less dense walnut or buckeye. Thanks for the post.

@Modicum alot to it isnt it, alot of people think ohh its just a piece of wood with a couple holes and heater in it.

@Ramahs great shot of your abv, thanks for the post.

Gotta be out yall, had the heater on in the shop for a few hours, should be warm out there so time to make some magic. Wish you all the best!

Wow. That's a stunner! No one could be anything but overjoyed with that. Whoever that's going to is extremely lucky! I kinda want to ask it to marry me.

Anyone found a button yet on Vaporisateur.net, to switch the side to English?
Or am I just blind? :p

Yeah. I use Google's Chrome browser, and it automatically asks me if I want it to translate the page when the page first loads, and it translates everything reasonably well.

Just a dude
Wow my man, you went and did it, didn’t ya? That’s a stunner for sure, it won’t be around very long! It’s a nice benefit of keeping up with your thread, you always give us an heads up! Or you’re constantly tempting us. However you want to look at it, really. :D

Had a rough night last night but the WS was waiting for me early this morning. It’s been my top favourite morning vape most mornings. I find the WS to be incredibly versatile, and an excellent morning/daytime vape provided it’s used with some mindfulness and self-discipline, unless the mission is to render oneself completely wrecked. Which I have intentionally done this morning in an attempt to get relief & rest! :freak:
Thanks Doctor Ed, for the WoodScents prescription! It’s a real attitude adjuster! Love y’all!

Good morning, I use FF and have a red T at the top right of my page for translate if that is helpful.

Thanks @Ramahs I am glad you like it and feel the customer will be thrilled with it. He has already said he is but you know its different when its in hand.

@pxl_jockey I normally dont do stands and such, with just so much that has to be done its tough to make it all happen at times. Guy asked if it could be done and wasnt that tough with just the ask of a magnet without much else so didnt take a whole lot of time. That and there was enough off cut from the blank to make it work. I am glad you like it. I hate you had a rough night but as you said the WS came to the rescue. Yes sir you are right it can get you topped off or ruint if you let it. I hope the rest of the day goes well for you and thank you for all your posts and kind words bro!

@ubardog This is what my guy is telling me

Ed's TnT price is about 299$ which is on the market exchange today precisely about 263€

The import taxes are:

+ 20% VAT (263€ + 52,6€) = 315,6€ (in Europe depending of country it's more or less, example in GB it's 20%, France 20%, Germany 19%, Spain 21% and so on)
Custom duties between 15€ and 30€ to add and even more sometimes as there are also advancing funds fees depending of transport company)
Final import cost 330 to 345€

This calculation was the first thing I've thoought about when I've brainstormed the price

And the MOST important is that every preorder is granted with 10% special voucher that is WOODSCENTSUE on vaporisateur.net
so you can have it even on better price at the end of the day if you profit of the preorder period ;-) &

eventual shipping fees, at vaporisateur.net they're free in whole of the UE

Hope this is helpful to everyone interested in an EU WS!

Wasn't meant as a crtiticism anyway, my friends, was just wondering if I'd missed out on some native translation feature on the shop's site, like most of the other non English speaking European vapo shop sites offer is all, before going for Google's hack job translations ;)

Heya @Ed's TnT

Ty for your reply ,

(UK HERE)
Out of interest, What did you have to change you get the CE? I'm guessing cartridge leads.
Also, if we order direct from you will it have the CE?

Reg. www.vaporisateur.net - While I'm using translate it will not let me order/create an account. I tried to make an account while its in french. I have very little french skills so I might be doing something wrong
I gave up when I could not see UK in the list of countries.

Had some E-Mail chat again these days with Ed and he's simply a fucking legend. Such a nice, friendly guy, providing one of the best and nicest vapes out there, beside some great accessories. At least for me, the WoodScent is my favourite. Can once more only highly recommend Ed and his work!

It just depends on the style of vvps. Some go down to zero. You shouldn’t have to go below 9.3 in normal usage anyways.. I’ve left mine on 12volts forever.

thanks for such a quick reply.

good to know the 9 for lowest is normal. thought i would start at 6, based on the thread and to see what works best. right now its reading 9.22 so will give it a go this evening.

the vvps is the one through edd.

Thanks everyone. Good to know. think tonight ill start 9.5 just to try but will likely be in the 10.5 to 12 range.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks again for everyones replies earlier.

Wanted to add, now that i have some more time, my very first woodscents came in today, acutlly i went to pick it up at the post office since they're not delivering due to weather and I'm inpatient HAHA. Actually got lucky at the post office. Went in and they had to search since they haven't organzied all the packages. While i waited on the side, two others tried to come in and get packages and were told they had to wait because nothing was sorted yet, whew close one.

It is an Ambroyna Burl, and it looks amazing. Sorry for no pic, i have one on my computer but I am not signed up at any hosting sites.

Wanted to say thanks to Ed's TNT. I had placed an order and he reached out to review a few things and give some info on the one i picked. Ended up changing to the ambroyna he had in stock. Very helpful and extremely quick to respond, also sent any all/pics of the different logs he had in stock, which was very helpful.

Besides the crazy amount of extras in the pack I also picked up the VVPS and the fumed glass piece. I think i will primarily use the fumed piece for the woodscents with flower only. I have two omni xl, a titanium i use for concentrates and a damascus steel i use for flower.

I love my dynavap and induction heater, i have other devices but primarily use dynavap/induction heater and my enail. When i was looking for a table top this jumped out at me. I love that it can use the tips from dynavap, or just use the glass tube with screen. Also, compared to other table tops, this is more portable and a much smaller footprint. Lastly, the artesian side is pretty cool. Hand turned, and a different shape then others i have seen from different manufacturers.

Soon as it came in i added some of the bomb ass butter and clearned the tip and glass stem. She is BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Relaxing after work right now and playing with the dog. Can't wait till after supper and try out the maiden voyage.

Thanks again to Ed and everyone who posted in the thread, it was very helpful.
