Gotch'ya. I just can't freaking wait.

So a more Genral question to do with electricity.

So the Apollo used a 6v 50w Bulb and this uses a 12v 35w bulb. From understanding the differences between Villes 20w to 50w versions it increases the speed in which it reaches an appropriate temperature (or one you set) but I guess I'm asking what does the Voltage and Wattage provide for the bulb?

Like mAh in a 18650 Battery = Longevity while CDR = essentially optimal power output (not so sure on the CDR part) but you guys get the metaphor I hope.

I'm so bad at conveying information from my head into words.

Nvm I'm just gonna Google it lol. Sometimes I forget that that's an option cause it usually has such little info about Vaporizers that doesn't eventually lead back here haha.

Apples & oranges, @Azn2101 ;)

For a portable, Ville wants fast heat up, but also has only a short runtime (session) to deal with, for killing a load. As lots of the initial heat conducts into the relatively cool body at first, which is striving for thermal equilibrium, you'd want a rather over-powered heater there, providing a massive heat surplus you can tap into, to make good for the initial heat loss through conduction. As a result, you're up on operating temps within seconds. Do that with a plug-in/desktop unit, and you'll probably burn down the house :p
He also goes with just 6v there, cause he'd need at least four 18650 cells in series or a boost converter, to get 12v there. 50w are 50w! And wattage (power) is just the product of voltage * amperge. A 6v/50w bulb then just draws more amps, than a 12w/50w, to get the 50w output and which one or two cells can already provide.

For a desktop vape on the other hand, you want a heater that can sustain the ideal temperature for hours on end, maybe even 24/7, and if you also don't want to bother with costly electronic temp control, you'd rather choose a heater there, that delivers close to (or even a tidbit more, as reserve for concentrates or so) the ideal temps at max settings. As you've no heat surplus from an over-powered heater like in the portable then, to cope with the initial heat loss, heat up takes a bit longer then, until the body is heat saturated enough, so that the heater can provide its full power to the load then.

Thanks man. I keep talking about it like it's gonna get here quicker. And I really hope it does. Custom from Finland usually takes 5-6 days to process it then 2-3 days to me plus the time out of the EU but maybe because Finland is a Socialist Gov't it takes more time cause I did receive my TUBO in 5 business days but today was a holiday (not sure if it was a National one though)

Damn, nothing today. Hopefully tomorrow but the Mailman was a dick! It's raining and I asked if there were any packages and he just ignored me and drove past to where the mailboxes are lol.

Edit: Ok, just so I'll be good to go right outta the box I want to cover a few things. First I do a quick iso bath on the Glass & ELB. Then Is there a Burn Off needed or does it come ready? Finally how should you treat this device? Is it like the ENano to leave on at all times or is it more like an EVO where you use it for whatever purpose then shut it off. Or like the Apollo & Grasshopper being that you use it then turn it off inbetween Inhales.

What will the results be if I took a Moonrock and put it on the ELB Top hat and then put that on a 18mm Basket Screen in the Glass Cover or is using that as a holder of any kind to be avoided now?

i already do the burnoff of the Vaporizer. You just have to burn out the ELB with a butanlighter.
An iso wash isnt needed for the glasparts. But nothing wrong with it! A hot waterbath would be enough.

You can leave the unit on in 24/7 mode. Its designed for that and mine is also running 24/7.
The bulb has a great lifetime (in my experience its like 2 years lifetime in 24/7 mode)
And the bulb is easy to swap. But if you want to use it for many years, you switch the unit off over night for example. but i always wake up and see the musa still shining :D

The heat up time is like 2 minutes, so turning it off between sessions is also a way to go!

i never tried using it with moonrocks, but anything will work with this vape. When the unit arrives your mind will tell you how to use it functionally.
im exicted which experience you get and looking forward for the arrival!

if there are any questions left, feel free to contact me!

best regards!

Awesome man. This is going to be one Epic Experience! Hopefully tomorrow. They say the Mail never stops moving but I didn't realize Monday was a holiday. Plus our government is shutdown so I'm hoping the combination of the two doesn't affect the shipping process at like Customs.

@DBA, Please PLEASE Please put up some milk shots of the Dry Mouth piece and one with the Water pipe attachment.

I'm not even Joking that I dreamed about receiving the MUSA last night.

I hope everything is going well with yours =)

Oh if your comfortable can you show what the ABV looks like?

Also at what position (1-12) on a clock face would be off or the lowest heat setting and what would be full power, Highest heat setting?

SO JEALOUS!

On mines dry rigs work awesome. I keep the knob between 4 or 5 o clock. Noon is just “on” and as you turn the dial you will see the light intensity change.

It needs to get heat soaked a bit so set it and let it heat up for a 3 mins or so.

Lowest setting for me has been 3 o clock and highest 5 o clock. At 5’ o clock you need to be careful, with your inhale speed and figure out how dry your material is. If you aren’t careful you may combust. She has lots of power in her. I enjoy the bowl with the screen as it allows you to see the material get vaporized. Especially sitting up at eye level on the Roor Vapor bubbler.

Enjoy your Musa!

For sure thanks man =)

But just to be clear where does the dial stop (if it were on a clock) at its lowest and where does it stop at its highest temp?

The minute you go pass the click to turn on that will be noon. The most the dial will go to I think is 10 or 11 o colvk. I have not tried but when the box is off the dial is at 10:30 o clock. Once you find a dial setting you like you can mark it on the box near the dial. That way quick and easy to set.

Heya AZN, I will attempt to make a video, my last video I wanted to show it off by putting a reasonable amount in, but due to asthma and such I couldn't take big enough hits haha. I will try again tonight or tomorrow. I apologize in advance for the crappy phone camera, I don't have a decent one!

It's here and so beautiful. Thank you to everyone who helped me with questions regarding the German Shipping process/ DHL/ Customs/ and just plain getting me through the wait.

@MUSA Vaporizer has amazing customer service. Patients is not a virtue I have but he held in there and went over & beyond on his part to ensure the safety of the package and my rather crazy mentality.

Even when there were times that he probably had other responsibilities, he still took the time to settle my nerves.

I'm very happy that the package made its way here and no other actions had to be taken (with like DPDHL/DHL or USPS).

Now to get cracking on how to use it :D

Ahhh Damn my Phone! I can't see it lol.

Ok so quick question. The ELB is a bit too long for the adapter to fully seat on the heating post.

Is this normal cause I seem to be getting a lot of cool air from the glass SPA not touching the Post and the adapter kinda rolls around on the post a little which scares me.

Don't worry. The elb has to be a little bit longer than the adapter to make sure it's not too loose in the adapter.
There won't come any air between the gap.
You can test it with your additinal heating tube. Put the mouthpiece configuration on it and close the bottom hole with your thumb. It hast to be air tight!

Wow like really airtight for something that is perforated on the sides. I wonder what micron mesh the ELB's are made from.

Anyways, a little under 12 is my go to for the moment.

I'm not sure if you purposefully made that cup in the top cap of the ELB but it's perfect for the @blokenoname MOD and a SS Tip nestled in there perfectly is almost completely airtight.

Speaking of MODS, @DDave we have lift off with the Long Stem 14mm basket screens. They can work differently than intended and have an interesting attribute that I'll PM you about. I'm not gonna lie though I accidently broke the Longer F/F for the Dynavap MOD so I'm gonna have to order another along with a few more things and speaking of things to order from you. @DBA DDave has 14mm & 18mm V3 Glass Screened Mods that would work great for (what I think) your thinking of but I'm barely even entering the honeymoon phase with the device. How's yours working out for you?

LUCKY DOG! You got yours like 2 weeks before me; I was chewing off my fingernails and @MUSA Vaporizer 's ear waiting for mine to arrive.

I kinda wish I didn't give away the ENano because there are some aspects that I find to be more natural but that's probably because I had used it (and a cousins WS) first and that just set what in my mind what a "Log" Vaporizer should feel like.

I love that the MUSA breaks that stereotype but can still find ways to bring that experience back to it through MODS capable because of the 18mm central post. I mean the DDave mod when the F/F adapter is left on the MUSA to heat soak and you add the stem with the 14mm basket it gets toasted. Leave the adapter off while it heat soak and add both the adapter and draw stem and let it built up those terpy hits until you get that good inhale or two and that's all from about half of what you'd load in a Dynavap chamber.

I'm almost scared how big the clouds from @Aezhenn 's Adapter for an S&B Capsule will make coming through a Dynavap!

The wait was totally worth it and would buy another. Again Thank you to everyone who helped and are continuing to help. Especially the Man himself.

The fit of 10mm outer diameter ss tips with the top cap of the ELB is just a lucky accident, so to say, as it's inner diameter is also roughly 10mm :)
So it seals reasonable well and the load is close enough to the heater, so that a bit of ambient air entering doesn't make a noticable difference there.

Edit: and great, that it finally arrived

You guys ever drive a REALLY nice car and wonder as your behind the wheel: "What would happen if I crashed this car?" And all The sudden you wanna get out and let whoever's car it is drive from the anxiety? Like the type of crash, you're flying as far away as possible with a new identity cause you don't have $500,000?

That's how I'm feeling right now about opening up the throttle on the dial. I'm like scared to go past 12:00!
