If I’m taking mu time I do a couple minutes (in F) at 360, then a few minutes at 380, then a couple minutes at 400, then a couple minutes at 420 till the vapor stops.

Otherwise I often run it for four minutes at 380 and four minutes at 425.

Lately I start at 380, until I get vapor, then go to 360 to kill the load. I do the same thing with our mighty. Next week i could change, lol. It's like what @OF said, find out what's best for you. There is no wrong way.

I feel like I'm wasting a lot if I stop at 360

Entirely possible. Tell you what, send me your ABV and I'll let you know for sure.......eventually.

No need to thank me, I'm sure you'd do as much for me?

You are eliminating many of the fractions that give real medicinal benefit, and in doing so a lot of the 'couch lock' part. Many of us are MMJ types for which this is a goal at times. You get to decide if it's a waste to you personally. FWIW I'd say for recreational use, and avoiding cost issues, it makes sense for many.

I know how it works. I still don't like wasting.

Sorry to have offended, just trying to help. I meant to say something like 'You get to decide if it's a waste to you personally.' It's a waste or not for you depending on what you say, could be different for the next fellow.

No, wait, I did say that......

Glad you've got it under control.

I doubt your wasting much, if any. The mighty really does extract well at low temps. I'm not trying to change your mind, whatever temp you vape at is fine with me.

Maybe you could try a session at 360, when vapor slows or stops go to a higher temp, just to see. Doing this I've found very little left, unless I up the temp so much that the taste gets bad, like 400F. Anyway just a thought. And I hope your state wises up.

I've done that...but what I've also done is vape at a low temp like that and then vape it again at a higher temp many hours later or the next day...and still gotten high on that smaller amount of visible vapor.

Visible vapor is not always a good indicator, just like color of ABV is not always a good indicator.

Has anyone else played around with wpa or bent glass stem in a homemade gravity bong or waterfall? I've been sitting around medicating a shoulder injury/macguyvering and I'm fairly certain the added suck of some gravity has fully restored the draw resistance. Only tried a 16oz and gently to not overtax my little pal. Now i'm wondering about the fury2 frankenvolcano with a fan or a fancy glass gravity setup?

Also its quite impressive to actually see the "fury" pouring out of the stem down into the bottle!

No but I haven't heard the term "gravity bong" in years and it reminds me of the ones we made in college during the combustion era. Those worked well with a little silly putty adhered to the cap and stem of the bowl. Ah, the good 'ol days (cough, cough).

I don't own glass of any type - yet. It's on the horizon for me, either with my Fury or perhaps a new vape in the not-too-distant future (I'm still mulling my options but I do have a short list). TGIF to all. :peace:

Talk to the Beard
Thanks to the advice from this forum, I got my Fury 2 w/ microdosing pods and I could not be happier! I've been using the Fury 2 for about 2 weeks to get a feel for it, and this is my impressions:

PROS -
- Full "convection" level flavor - similar to a Ghost or Haze Square
- "Pods" are small - but the PERFECT size for medical microdosing
- I tested the battery and was able to do 6 pods for dbl-sessions (8 min each = 48 mins) , w/ a recharge time of around 90 mins
- Super easy to clean w/ few parts
- Very discreet portable, looks like a large lighter (similar to my Haze Dual, which looks like a small flask)
- Solidly built, great weight
- Very easy to use and fill
- The bowl size without the pods is really quite big for such a small unit - easily big enough for a couple of ppl
- Lightening fast heat-up time - about 20-25 secs
- Sharp and bright display with temp and easy temp adjustment
- Cool LED light inside the mp that glows thru the glass (that you can turn off too) - looks great at night and is actually helpful

CONS -
- Took about 5 sessions to eliminate the slightly odd taste I was getting towards the end of each bowl, but once it was "seasoned" it is completely gone
- Holding the unit with integrated mouthpiece is a bit awkward because the mp is oriented so you have to hold it along the edge w/ the buttons. It take a bit to get used to, and the few people I've used it with immediately noticed the same thing. However, after a couple of weeks using it, I don't even notice.

Overall, it's an amazing value for a convection portable. The flavor is equivalent to much larger and much costlier units. I could easily make this my daily medical driver with the pods. I've found myself microdosing throughout the day - 4-5 pods - then I switch to my Haze Dual w/ the bigger "cans" for sharing w/ friends and family. It's my very personal, "just for me", little unit.

So, when the time comes and my Haze Dual stops working (they all do - usually the switch breaks), I will without hesitation pick up the larger HR Fierce

I don't do so (having better, dedicated tools for that), but two 'safe' ideas come to mind. First, there's @Vitolo with cotton. Just wrap a bit of concentrate in cotton and stuff it in. You can easily use enough cotton to blot up the most serious leak possible and still get full effect from your goods. Pure cotton is fine at vape temperatures, I steal mine from vitamin and aspirin bottles, he, I think, plucks his off handy q-tips? Truly serious guys get fancy organic cotton from Japan (Amazon sells it....).

Second idea is to use the supplied pad. AFAIK nobody has reported any problems there, but overloading is a risk and it will eventually foul and need cleaning/replacement. You use fresh cotton each time.

Have you tried vaping your CBD oil yet? Depending on your oil it might not be worth vaping. A lot of the commercial stuff is mostly a carrier oil. Ive seen it in gas stations and party stores. If that's the case I'd just eat it. For vaping you want a unadulterated concentrate or herb only.

Like mentioned most people just use the supplied concentrate pad. If your worried about fouling your vape you could reshape the pad to fit in a water stem and use your vape inverted. Hope this helps.

In just a quick look, the add says 6% CBD. What's the other 94%? I would not vape this product.

They seem to have a lot of products, all based on processing industrial hemp to get 'pure' CBD. Not THC. No 'stone' but most of the medicinal effects intact. Not regulated for that reason, like the marijuana seeds in wild bird seed? Not enough THC in a cartload to be of interest. Those seeds won't sprout, they've all been murdered you see by X-ray?

It shows up in pet supplies here, again not controlled AFAIK.

They make up to 12%, but I'd not think about vaping most of the balms and such. Tinctures, provided you can trust them with the solvent (for instance alcohol you can evaporate off only) are an option.......maybe.... But why? Other ingestion routes are easy safe and proven......but they too won't 'get you off'.

I'd pass. Go for real CBD rich extracts of the conventional sort if you want to vape.

Anything worth doing, is worth overdoing.
you're probably right. tnx

If you are interested in vaping CBD, you can try some CBD isolate. It is about as pure CBD product as you can get. Some good CBD onlne vendors do sell CBD waxes with only natural CBD and terpenes and no carrier shit.

I had a very nice experience with www.fullyactivated.net ,and he has been recommended on the FC before. He seems to focus on isolates and then some topicals. The isolate is sold in powder or shatter form, and was the best price around at the time. He provides lab testing results and seems to always throw in a small sample of his highest strength topical balm which is awesome.

Anyway, I have the powder and have been placing a small dab of wax on cotton, as recommended earlier, and after heat soaking the wax in and giving it a stir, I will sprinkle a small dusting of isolate powder. Pure isolate is all mellow effect and no flavor. It just takes the edge off the THC in the wax. The only problem is I will only do this with the F2 upside-down when using the wpa for obvious reasons.

Now I have used just wax soaked cotton in my F2 stuffed in the mini-bubbler or the wpa as a stem. As long as you don't go using a massive blob, I find the cotton keeps the concentrate "in place" and it doesn't go dripping into the heater. However, when the isolate melts it becomes runny, moreso that any wax I've used. So my CBD is only added to bong hits for that reason.

That said, right now I'm typing away on my couch with some Cheese flower in the mini-bubbler of the F2. I like using the bubbler dry as it gives you a long airpath in a small amount of space. The F2 gives such an even roast throughout a loose pack at my 385 setting. What a great portable.

Ok, thanks. Didnt realize CBD was such a diverse and problematic market.
I wont go for all these troubles trying CBD with the fury.
I prefer finding some decent oil and buying a cheap oil pen or something..
