@Hogni I grabbed the 14mm bowl and the stand with stainless base. Agreed that the stand is a must have. I didn't want to use the Sherlock for the stand. I didn't pick up the micro dose bowl...not much of a micro-doser! :freak: I've only used the standard 18mm bowl so far. Love it!

The Herborizer Digi Ti has quelled my VAS for now, but the Supreme V4 is back on my radar again. hahaha

:peace:

Even for hard hitter, the microdose is worth a try cause of its different airstream architecture and the ability to deliver one very tasty thick milking big hit. Flavor is also a bit more pronounced IMO.
Is there a way to stop falling debris on the micro bowl? The glass plug is nice but it doesn’t do the job very well.
I received a Supreme 3 and like it a lot. So little to think about, other than not getting injured by the hot parts. I’m wondering about the vacuum seal the S3 provides. What if we add silicone gasket/rings to the heating element of the Herbo Ti? Could it help in any way to have monster hits and obliterating fully the vaping material? If I revape my Herbo ABV I get a lot of vapor from Volcano bags at 230C.

I hate the glass plug of the microdose bowl! It's fiddly to place the plug right and the air channel of my plug is so tight that it's restricting the airflow too much for my liking. I dropped mine after the 2nd use.
I bowl-shaped a ti screen that I use with my md bowl. Not perfect but much better than the glass plug.

I love my "ugly bitch", my SV3. Awesome flavor and performance and the smallest and less destructible desktop vape on the go. But try to get some Vapolution 2.0 glass stems and shorten them to the length of the Alu stems of the SV3 and use them instead. Even a better flavor!

any news on the herborizer digital in retail? I can not find it anywhere besides the herborizer page (looking for a shop in the EU). Are there any discount codes for Herborizer.com? I would prefer a retailer but I am getting tired of waiting

that would actually be my preferred shop, but as you said it is not in stock and I don't want the analog version.

I can see Jahvaporizer stocking them soon enough, but tbh at the pace things have gone with the prolonged roll out so far, I really wasn't expecting it to be available anywhere except Herborizer.

No discount codes for his site. He doesnt toy around that way. He just builds great vapes, sets his price, sticks to it, but then he practically looks after you for life. The 2 year warranty is just for his protection I think, to save liberty taking. If your machine dies or falters past warranty, and you are just a regular Joe, he will sort you out and send you a free grinder with the cleaned, repaired vape.

Seb totally rocks like that.
@Hogni hey man, hope you are good. I begin a long overdue vapor break tomorrow, so this will be a time for tackling multiple tasks, including the EXACT one I'm preaching about above, lol.

And...you never told me about the current fully legal craze in Germany- 1plsd! Have you seen them all on Youtube? Those Germans are LOVING it. I wish I could understand them, it seems to be the heart of it all right now. But you can kind of get what is going on!
(Ps. I have arranged some "research" myself.;) )

Every user is medical. Some don't need/appreciate it as much as others, but still benefit. And some medical users enjoy the rec side much more than others.
It pleases me when medical users can enjoy the rec side, like our Cali bro @ataxian and maybe that's a part of why I loved your poolside shots so much, it was all about that enjoyment side of life, and...:leaf:

Okay a very interesting and revealing little discalimer on VDM's DigiTi page which I read yesterday:

"IMPORTANT: Since the Herborizer DigiTi can reach over 1300 ° C, you should pay attention to never burn out more than max. 600 ° C to adjust. Otherwise it can lead to a Deffekt the temperature control!"
:ugh:
Now why couldn't Seb have just told me this one, VERY VERY important detail when he sent me my unit? Or at least put something in the instructions. I mean, in hindsight, it wasn't really my fault was it? I hate to criticise Sebastien, but this was an unquestionable oversight IMO.

I just hope he sees it that way and is more than happy to see if my unit is repairable. If not I expect I will just buy an Analogue heater to be back in business.

@Alexis, this disclaimer is rather new. Mabe just because of the experiences with the few pre-sale units? But whytf does the Digi controller deliver power up to 1300°C??
Well Seb doesn't even know that I overheated my unit yet and there has not been another such reported case so I just think it was an important detail which emerged too late, a simple oversight.
And I guess there is just that much power available to put into the heater maybe with no way to cap it, with the heater only being able to handle so much of course.

One other crazy thing though is how he sent the Vapecritic's units to him set on Fahrenheit and mine was set on Celsius he specifically told me mine was tuned to 350 degrees Celsius on arrival. But Bud's unit arrived set in Fahrenheit. He just automatically assumed it was Fahrenheit like the Flowerpot controllers, and went straight up to 700° plus on his first usage.

There was honestly no way for any of us to know at the time whether it was definitely on Celsius or Fahrenheit and I was very concerned he was going to bust it before he even got to test it out.

Fortunately that never happened but I did think this was a bit strange.

Hi Guys,
Could you please so kind as to provide a step by step guide, how to get the diigiTI back to factory settings?
And how to change from F to C?
Many Thanks

I'm afraid the answer to this may be no. I do not personally know this information and I'm not sure anybody here will have attempted to do this so far with the few digital units out there at the moment.

Do you have a DigiTi? If so,, why do you need to reset it to factory settings? Maybe you accidentally adjusted the settings of the controller?
Your second question about changing from Fahrenheit to Celsius, please let me know when you find the answer because I would like to find this out myself hehe!

I'm sorry I can't give you better advice maybe somebody else can help more. But the only real advice is to ask Sebastien himself. If you sent him a short email asking him these questions he will probably give you a very clear answer which none of us could here.

And a very warm welcome here Buddy. Wishing you a very happy time being a member on this forum. :)

Your second question about changing from Fahrenheit to Celsius, please let me know when you find the answer because I would like to find this out myself hehe!

I do not know the herborizer digi controller, but there are chances it works similar to this one:

Instructions for configuring the High5 LED #1 and many other cheaper PID controllers (you can find a PDF instruction manual online if you search for XMT7100 PID controller):

high5led1.jpg

Auto-tune:
  1. Press and hold the ">" button until the "OUT (AT)" light starts flashing
  2. When auto-tuning is complete the light turns off
  3. To cancel auto-tuning, press and hold the ">" button until the "OUT (AT)" light stops flashing
Manually Enter PID Settings
  1. Press and hold the "SET" (or circle) key until "0000" appears on the display.
  2. Use the arrow keys to change to "0036" and press the "SET" key again
  3. Press the "SET" button to begin adjusting the "P" value, and use the arrow keys to navigate and set the value
  4. Use the "SET" button to end adjusting the value
  5. Use the arrow keys to then select the I and D settings respectively and adjust their values in the same fashion
  6. When complete, use the arrow keys to navigate to the "End" setting, and use the "SET" button to select it and exit
Change From Fahrenheit to Celsius and Vice-Versa
  1. Press and hold the "SET" key until "0000" appears on the display.
  2. Use the arrow keys to change to "0089" and press the "SET" key again
  3. Use the arrow keys to navigate to the "CorF" setting
  4. Use the "SET" button to begin adjusting it, and the arrow keys to select "C" or "F"
  5. Press the "SET" button again to end adjusting it
  6. Navigate to the "End" setting using the arrow keys, and select it with the SET key to exit
