Atmos Jump v Storm Spirit - how big a difference?

Hi All,
I've just joined, looks like a great forum.

My entry level vape was an Atmos Jump.
It's very good for the price I paid, but I'm wondering if I'm getting the best out of my material.
I'm looking to upgrade and the best I think I can afford is a Spirit by Storm.

Would there be a significant quality difference?
Also, I've observed that the Spirit seems to work best with a full bowl, which seems extravagant. If you don't vape the whole bowl, will what's left inside still be ok later?
Any advice would be welcome.
Thanks in advance!

The Atmos name is synonymous with garbage, I'd be willing to bet just about anything is better than what Atmos is putting out. To be fair, I've never even looked at the Jump. But there's no way I'd even pay $10 for something that Atmos rebrands.

What's your price range? Two quality vapes on the cheaper side of the spectrum would be the Dynavap M and the Health Rips Fury 2.

The M is butane powered, and the Fury 2 has batteries. Both are highly regarded here and would be a wonderful improvement over what you have now.

No experience with the Storm, so can't comment there. Generally though, stuff left a bowl for a later session can still be used, but it won't taste nearly as good

Atmos will always equal :shit::shit: to most FCers.

Yep Atmos "vapes" are garbage

The original solo and air are priced similarly, actually the solo is cheaper than the spirit. I'd go with one of those every day before the spirit.

Or the fury 2 of course... haven't tried one, but it gets a lot of love round here and I'd have no hesitation to order one for myself if I needed another out and about vape for dog walks etc (have my air for now...).

@MzRight give us some extra info such as budget, how do you use your vape? (On demand, sessions with other people, alone, stealth or not ect)

There are a lot of decent vapes out there but some are better at some things than others. For example you say you want to be able to vape a bit, put it down and be able to come back to it... This would be on demand... And so on. So if it on demand and portable you want them you might want to look at the Magic Flight Launch Box and so on.

Regards :)

i have been using the Spirit (by Storm) for 3 months and I have to say i'm quite impressed.
It goes to 240°C so theoretically, it should be one of the (if not the) best stealth electronic portable vaper for hash at least.

Kinda shocked when i later found out it's a rebranded model though (originally called starry 2)

At least spirit (by storm) has produced a Resin Capsule which works pretty good for vaping Hash
(if you add some Vaping Cotton you don't have to clean the hash capsule after every use.)

At 240°C vapor production is sufficient, but below that it's not satisfying.
I wonder if there's other vaporizers out there that do a better job at vaping hash than the Spirit cause all vaporizers i have seen are significantly lower than 240°C

@in_human_form You can heat a VapCap (or other butane vaporizer) to combustion temps and beyond if you want to. VCs do click at good temps for flower, but hash users generally have good luck heating past the click and getting the temps they need.

There are also plenty of desktops and unregulated portables capable of higher temps than you’d even want. :)

Hey thanks for the quick reply.

Could you suggest me an electronic (preferably kind of stealthy looking) design that handles hash very well ?
There's so many vapers out there but so far i haven't found anything that according to reading other people's experiences,

does it as well as my Rebranded Spirit by storm (starry v2 :p )

Sorry man, I don’t have access to the kinds of hash most people seem to be talking about, and the kind I have I just put a little on top of flower in the FlowerPot or VapCap, so I can’t give you specific good advise.

Those two can handle it, and any of the unregulated convection portables like the Milaana, MVT, Li’l Bud, and my favorite the Nomad should all be capable. So should 510 based stuff like the Splinter, iHeat, etc. I just can’t tell you which would work best.

You can use VapCaps with Induction Heaters by the way, making them battery powered.

Hopefully some other hash users with good battery powered options will speak up!

in your price range i gues you should consider a Flowermate V5s Pro.
verry long battery life, glass air path, integrated mouthpiece, usb charging, all for 100 Euro. been using it for almost 4 years now and still going.
good value for the money imo

Hey, guys, thanks. I did buy a Spirit Storm in the end but I must admit the Flowermate V5 sounds interesting, Hal9000, and when I'm in a better financial place I will have a look at that.

The Spirit is good, it's a bit fiddly to clean and requires new screens all the time because I cannot for the life of me work out how to clean them properly. I bought two bottles of strong isopropyl alcohol on Amazon and have tried soaking them in that but it doesn't seem to clean them at all. What do you guys do to clean yours, or do you just replace them? It could get expensive!

Wish I'd seen your post before I bought the Spirit. That looks really good. Have you tried the mini?

O only had the vaponic for about 2 years, then the flowermate v5 for about 1 year and the v5s pro for almost 4 years. I am verry satisfied with the flowermates but now i am waiting for the fenix 2.0
The spirit looks nice and i think the sesion timer is a nice feature to have. The flowermate might have been a better value overall tough.

you have to buy a torch lighter and burn the leftovers.
then scrape it with a needle it just falls off easily

So did you receive the fenix 2.0
Is the flowermate v5. 0 pro still ure best choice for hash.? I'm about to buy my vaporizer for my Lebanese hash. And it's gona be one of these three cause you tested them. The pro the nano or maybe if you recommend me the fenix 2.0 I'm gona fully trust you man.
No desktop vaporizer, no butan vaporizer. Only portable electrical vaporizer that you'll recommend me.

hello,
yes, i did recieve the fenix 2.
in my opinion it is a great convection vape for dry herbs. Unfortunately, i wouldnt recomend using either of them (flowermate v5 pro and fenix 2.0) for hash.
I had not been able to vape hash with this devices, i believe, due to low temps (230 max with the flowermate and 221 max with the fenix). You need at least 240C for vaping hash and maybe a device that is mainly designed for hash.
The "Focus V Carta V2" seems to me like it would do the job right for hash.
