I received my M2 and have had a few opportunities to try it out. I vape mostly on the DL(dog walks etc.) So its not optimal for me, but Im really digging it so far. I have a way to go to get the technique right and im looking forward to learning.

My bundle only came with the short stem. I found that the short stem fits perfectly in the larger dynavap snapstash making it safer to transport and for storing.

I just ordered the xl8r mouthpiece and a longer stem and im wondering if anyone has any cool ideas for similar storage and transportation options? Would a cigar tube work well?

RBT generally only replies to correspondence he deems worthy. Dude is weird as fuck.

I kinda do feel like my emails are not being responded to because they don't want to deal with this return. Hopefully that isn't the case and it's just some kind of holiday chaos. I still have hope!

You can deal with him directly on Instagram. So while he may have poor support by email, the alternative is pretty immediate and striking.

Reality is he's preoccupied trying to pivot from consumer retail to wholesale, which is a little like a getting into a snowball fight with Satan.

@booyah I never asked, but curious.. why do you want to return the unused Mi2? Which model do you have? I am surprised how much I like this vape, a little too much. I suspect that is because you can press a shiny button and get results. K.I.S.S at least as close as it gets with a battery powered vape. I may be buying a 2nd.

Question: do the XL8R Junior stems on the RBT site work on the Milaana and or Milanna 2?

Thank you.

They work on both. That said the joints are not quite as tight as I would like. This does not affect operation, I am just worried about not paying attention and the stem falling to it's demise. I do not have the Jr, but the regular XL8R does a stellar job of cooling the vapor. It's surprisingly effective and the combination of that stem with the Milaana 2 is pretty killer. Does not hurt that I like to push buttons!

@YaMon
Nice! I think I will start with the Jr then, and if the standard ever comes back into stock, pick up one of those then.

Indeed, the XL8R transforms hot as Hades convection into vapor as cool as that of the Mighty, yet with 4x the air flow or better. At temps out of a milaana or splinter that used to torch my lips and soft palatte through standard glass. GAME CHANGER.

I have the walnut with sepele base cap. The reason for the return is because the natural smell of the walnut is a little overwhelming to me. I'm sure a lot of people won't mind the smell, and younger me wouldn't have minded it either, but older me is more sensitive to things like this.

I too like KISS, mflb fondly being my first vape, but i think a very neutral smell/taste is starting to become a priority for me.

I got the Walnut too. Indeed the smell is strong, but it'll be gone after a few bowls :)

Milaana. Lana. LANA. LANAAAA! (TM2/TP80/BAK/FW9)
Walnut definitely does require more breaking in than maple which has been one of the most neutral tasting woods in my experience... There are others more neutral, but my cherry and walnut vapes both have had stronger flavors when new
(They are also not my RBT vapes btw)

Does anyone know why rbt's instagram has been down for the past week?

A couple weeks ago I finally made contact via instagram and was told to use the warranty page on the www regarding my return. Not really sure what that meant, so I filled out the RMA form online and submitted it. Since then, I've been trying to get a hold of anyone to confirm they've received the RMA form, and what next steps should be. No dice. And now, their instagram is down.

If I was more paranoid, I'd think they pulled their instagram account to avoid issuing me a return :\. I hope they wouldn't go that far...that's crazy right? :mental:

Do I have any other options to contact someone at rbt?
Thanks for any insight!

Well the bottom cap of my purpleheart Mi 2 just fell off. It gets light use and has never left the desk so that's kind of a bummer, even if its an easy fix.

Unregulated, on demand. The one (or two) hitter's best friend.

I love the og 18 mm Mi stems but my increasingly sensitive lungs handle 14 mm stems better. I loosely load a medium grind into 14 mm top hat screen set into the stem wrapped on the outside with a ring of silicone to secure it into the 18 m female joint.

The 14 mm load delivers me two nice full hits. More if I want to work the cell to dig out what's left of the meds after two nice goes.

My Mi 2 (below) takes noticeably longer than my 1.5 to reach vapor-level temps. But still hard to beat. With a fresh cell, my 2 produces a first hit in pretty much 30 seconds start to finish. My 1.5 beats that by at least five seconds. Subsequent hits extend button time of course until it's time to recharge. I'll get four of these small stems per charge, maybe five.

The 2, slighter than the 1.5, looks and feels great. Pockets well. The 1.5 pockets just fine also. Performance wise, I don't notice a difference between 1.5 an 2 other than the heat up time, and that's a variable that's not limited to different Mi editions.

I'm not loving what I'm seeing from the newer regulated convection vapes. Given my particular usage needs (one important one being speed of vapor delivery), it will be hard to unseat my Mi tandem. My nano joins in on the fun when it can, but it's tethered and therefor not always an option. I depend on my two milaana work horses and they deliver.

@GetLeft RBT surpassed time it takes to reach vapor levels themselves with the Splinter Z. A three battery mod fires up the coil pretty darn quick. I imagine the same is true for the standard Splinter and some of the other 510 mods. Regardless a Mi2 sits bedside for me for middle of the night meds.
