That's the long answer. The short answer is since money is not an issue, get both. Get a Nonavong (standard or XL) for home use and a TiOmniXL and an XL dynastash for out and about. That is what I would do if I was starting over. You may fall in love with the platform and end up a collector as many here have, but if you are looking for where to start and don't mind spending a few bucks, this is what I would recommend given my DV experience to date.
Once you have those 2 pieces the rest will come to you at your leisure...

Some people actually prefer the SS tip though, so buying one or an M that includes one isn’t a bad idea if you want to try everything. :)

Yes , my black cap fits this generation of ti tips much better than the shadow tip. Squeezed black cap til it made cracking sounds and could never get a good fit on the shadow tip but it fits great here.

I have squeezed my black cap in all directions, just not getting the tight fit.

:hmm:I have been wondering why, if the green tip is sold in the parts section, it is not an integral
part of the Green XL Omn, i which would make a complete match.

Equally puZZling is that while the green stem is part of the XL Green Omni, it is not available in the parts section.

DV works in mysterious ways?

The green Omni XL comes with a green tip.

As to why the green stem isn’t available, I share your curiosity.

According to the photo in the DV site, it looks like natural unworked Ti, and no mention of a green tip
In the ”products Characteristics”?

Did you get one, is the tip on yours green?

Rather interesting, ‘tis.

—Gotcha. just saw 1st photo, not the others without the cap on.

Try squeezing in only one direction.

Remove the cap from the tip. Place your index finger near the open end at the bottom of the cap where the digger outer extends and your thumb on the opposite side. Apply a steady, firm but gentle pressure. You are attempting to bring the cap slightly out of round. Test for fit and repeat until you have a friction fit and the cap won't come loose. It may take several squeezes but just go slowly and gently and continue squeezing the same spots.

@Squiby is it possible that Calib is wrongly suspected, could some other visiting “cat”
have spirited it away?

Unless blackwood smells like catnip....

Calib does look innocent.
Moose never steals anything, even if treats are left out in the open.
I would love to think so, but his track record precedes him. He not only showed interest in my cherished Blackwood square, he took it and hid it several times before. It's him. I know it, he knows it and he knows I know it.

@Squiby with all due respect to the Blackwood piece, your cat story had me cracking up. You have what my English major sister calls a great literary “voice”. Do you write?

That square snackwood is stunning, and definitely makes up for it! @phattpiggie and @davesmith are two glaring absences from my collection that need to be rectified.
I did. My career was in writing and publishing, but I'm retired now.

You have a stunning collection. Your Simrell @primitiveorganic and @stardustsailor stems are gorgeous! A few @phattpiggie stems will balance out your collection for sure.

Who has more fun than playing LEGOland in Dynaverse?

how do i get ahold of pipes?

@Squiby if Calib did indeed pirate your Blackwood stem, you will in time find it.

When you do, it will be like running into a long lost friend, it always hits me like a bolt of lightning,
when it happens to me.

Like when I finally found my passport.

Now I can go to the hot digitty ‘dam soon! :spliff: Love dem canals.

St. Pat's Day was my first thought when I saw the green Omni. Kiss me I'm VapCapping! :D

Anyone see the latest DV live? Someone asked if it was possible to do the M in different colors, other than the black Shadow and George said yes but nothing else. Hmm...are more colors of Ms in the works? They said in the video that the Shadow has been extremely popular.

I put a wood spinning mp on one of my Shadows and love it. Even my wife has started reaching for it. She commented that it's so much easier to use with the extra length and free spin. I wanted to upgrade our second Shadow but wanted to try Ti. The price for Ti mp, condenser and tip parts is $80. Instead I used the Dynabuilder and got a complete unit for $100. It's got the Ti tip, condenser and mp plus and M stem and a cap. So now I've got the parts for 3 complete Ms, one standard and 2 XL. I'll keep one Shadow complete, other than adding the darkwood spinning mp. The other Shadow will get the Ti mp, condenser and tip and keep the Shadow cap. The new SS M will get the Shadow tip and use the new SS cap. I'll post a picture once I get everything cleaned and assembled.

This DV lego stuff is kinda fun! :)

@Moses Baca Check out @stardustsailor for a different selection of color and styles of VC's. Once you get into them, there are endless possibilities. At this point in my journey, I am going to have @phattpiggie make a beautiful wood cover for my @Pipes IH. Down the line, I want more wood pieces, so I keep an eye open to what strikes my fancy. I am glad your wife seems to be coming around. I think given time, she'll be thrilled to kick the combustion habit. Good to see you!
