Your Dynastash under your Shadow looks like it has taken quite a few spills.
Not that there’s anything wrong with that. It must have plenty of stories to tell.

Oh. You mean this, Jill?

Got a case of 12 when we were in Nashville for Thanksgiving....$12 a bottle, will be a wonderful adjunct to Vapcaps and Winter:cheers:

Nice. Thought my wallet would have a heart attack when we first saw it @FoodHole (Whole Foods)
For $11.99/bottle, then went to my fav Liquors 44 where it was $13.99.

Being there, got a bottle to try. Prolly going back to FoodHole, later (“Sorry, Bud, we sold out yesterday.”).

Can someone come on over and grab my butane fuel out of my workshop and bring it up to the house??

It's so close... But might as well be a mile away in this boot with a shattered foot trying to use crutches to hop over sand and then climb up and down steps...

... Where there's a will... There's a way!

Airborne?

.... Nah I'm staying on the ground... The vapcap gets me as high as I'll EVER need to be.

I did a 2 week air assault course years ago in fort bliss Texas... First time repelling from the chopper i was like.... DAMN, this shit is still WAY TOO HIGH. I definitely wasn't jumping out of any plane unless it was crashing :D

Volunteered to go to Fort Benning for Airborne, then while at Fort Sam Houston, taking a toke, said
Waitaminnit! Why jump out of a perfectly good plane?

—Fort Dix was close to NYC. ;) Now closed.

Still toking, after all these years.

@WoodVillain be careful! I almost broke an elbow trying to crutch up some steps once..

My only fear of heights comes when working on a tall ass ladder, I can free climb bridges and cliff jump into mine pits, but once I’m over 10’ on a ladder, I start to tense up!

Does anyone else prefer the skinny stems to the nonavong?

Shipments finally came. Been shadow dynavaping all evening. Port side mini charged n ready to go. Didn't use a lighter. Used PSM until the battery died. Can't tell you how many sessions I went through. But it was all in the name of research

2 M"s, one was 881, the other 2798... Use was pretty straight forward. Pulled em apart, cleaned them. One was black inside, the other had a dark copper residue .. Cleaned up dried. Dry run. Click.

At some point I almost combusted because the desire to take the next draw outweighed my patience between clicks. The ease of use speaks for itself. The efficiency is top notch. My abv always looked even and well extracted. Experimented with whole buds, ground, tight pack, loose pack, micro dose. Great consistent results each time.

Took a few sessions to find my rhythm. Carb/no carb. I find the device so sleek finding the carb can prove difficult, with use it became easier realizing I'm usually covering it intuitively. Hits were pleasant and stronger than expected. I found at first I was trying to inhale until the off click, which would over do it and send me into a coughing fit. Looking forward to to todays research and perfecting technique!
@pipes,@squiby,@stardustsailor @Winegums @Dynavaper @the whole cot dayum FC community, thanks for all the input, knowledge, opinions, pictures and help!

Day 3: So my question for you all is how many cycles can you get out of 1 load in your dynavap?

I get 2 heat cycles off of one load using a single flame lighter hitting it at the bottom of the cap (base of the bowl) first hit is light and flavorful, the second is the full extraction and if I try a third I get something that rides a fine line of the fires of hell and being completely extracted. Not combusted but mighty close to it and a little dark for my liking.

So my lesson is that if I'm heating the base I should only do 2 cycles.

So day 1 was love at first sight, day 2 was concentrates only and the start of day 3 I'm going to test heating positions like 2 bowls heated in the middle and 2 bowls heating near the tip.

As always 420 in the 204!

@mrb @stark1 @Alexis @phattpiggie.... :clap:i could go on.. A wealth of knowledge and kindness around here.

@204Markie I'm on day 2. Using a PSM. I'm getting at least 4 nice draws, full extraction. But I might get more cause I was taking two draws between clicks occasionally ..

Pineapple express waiting for me at the post office :brow:
About to pick that up and begin my second round of testing!

I think you guys may have created a monster. Two months ago I didn’t even know what a VapCap was, then I bought a VapCap M, and after reading about induction heating, I just built myself one of those too.

I followed a diagram that I found here on the site - thank you @stardustsailor! I know it’s not fancy, but this puppy was very low-cost to build and works like a charm. It’s fun to use and I’m consistently getting nice, big tasty hits. And there’s no butane to buy. :D

That's awesome! Do you mind to repost the guide that you followed? This is definitely a great way to save on butane costs over time. You did a great job on this!

Thank you, Hitomi. I’m really enjoying this thing. There are several threads in the DIY forum explaining how to do this. There are slightly different versions depending on what is wanted. I did mine based on a schematic in this thread. Parts lists are there too.

I’m powering mine with 3-18650 batteries in a battery holder. I already had the batteries and charger for various flashlights I have. A 12v 6 amp power supply can also be used, but the batteries make it easily portable around the house for me and I like that.

This is the wiring diagram I went by, except the LED wasn’t used because the trigger switch and heater board both have LEDs that light up when the unit is powered on, so I didn’t need another one.

@Exsmoker perhaps you could post some pics of your finish product.

Have you considered putting some out for $ale for those of us who have little experience in
Soldering electronics? :2c:

Try heating past the click for 2 seconds on the first cycle. Then heat to the click on the second cycle. This should get you a stronger first cycle and a similar second cycle.

Alternatively you could heat 2/3 or 3/4 towards the bottom of the cap and get three cycles out of it.

The photo I posted earlier is pretty much the finished product. I know there are folks already selling these things in various forms but I may very well order enough parts to make a few more to sell at a reasonable price. Good idea!

I used to go three or four with my preferred triple torch and now I go more like six with my pipes Jarhead.

It feels so much cleaner using my induction heater (don’t tell George). YMMV

Try post #39096, page 1564. I just checked and it’s still there. :)

Thank you! Reposted it for you/VapCap owners to enjoy.

Simple (and elegant) should be a hit(ter) for us fans of the VapCap in the intersection of the VapCap, and the induction heater. A home run. A goal.

That looks really neat but isn't there a risk of electrocution?:science::leaf:

Could use a glass spacer (tube). 12V, might piss off a large ant?

It’s a work in progress, in evolution.

Prolly see a forthcoming enclosure(s) in time. I like the naked look of wood.
