My v5s won’t work with my pfe. When I used the regular it’s fine but when I use the pfe I’m getting red lights shortly after pulling. Reg front end seems to work perfectly with no issues :)

Weird. I always thought peices we're interchangeable... I could fire up all the hoppers I've owned with no front end even screwed on... What would cause this

Holy cow...wow...I mean...really...wtf. :o:o:o So sorry.

Well, I guess V5 isn't the answer to all of our issues. :bang::goon:

Hahahahaha. Yeah, they made mention that v5 is their most reliable one yet.

However, all talk is meaningless LOL

My v5 is walking to the the
Door as we speak. @newVaper420 not battery related?

I have 4 GHB 2's. All exhibit same behavior. Instant Blue Light. No heat.

One of the bodies I received will work only with PFE. Meaning if there’s nothing screwed on it won’t work, or if the original front end is screwed it wont work either. With PFE works fine. Any ideas ?

Update: now it happens with both bodies.

This is very strange... unless they've made some very fundamental circuit changes, the backend is the only thing that makes electrical connections. I'd love to know if you figure this one out!

Wait...that was within 6 hours...went from working great to dead!! and a V5 body!!

Do I have this right?

Hey Baron, hope you're good! Making my way back to check in here... what's a "V5"? Version 5? I didn't see anything on their so-called blog. I'm still waiting for my RMA from June. They now said "10-30 days", but I don't give a shit if what I'm reading is that they still haven't figured out how to build this thing. I no longer depend on the hopper. Won't even leave the house with it.

So my Ti V5 body is still working amazing. Turns on, heats up, 3 is awesome, 3.5 is awesome, 4 is awesome. 5 is only for water lol, but again awesome.

I guess for the time being I have a good one, because I think I have had it almost a month now. I have an induction heater for my vapcap coming in today. There is every chance that the ease of use that will add to my vapcap, the Hopper might take a side seat for a while. I have found the cycling between my 3 vapes makes each one so much better in their own right.

I am really sorry to hear that @newVaper420 has had so many issues with his. That sounds like my experience with my v4 bodies. Went from great to dead in a span of hours. The v5 though is holding up to my abuse. *shrug*

I'm not entirely sure but I guess that's based on something related to Kremlinology (in Germany that was called "Kremlin Astrology") which means you draw conclusions based on subtle details you notice and rumors you hear rather than based on official statements.

I used to be going to great lengths to publicly support Hopper Labs and the Hopper itself but I've sort of come to realize that thing is probably not meant to be. It really doesn't look like this thread's going to be full of Happy Hopper Campers any time soon and even though things have apparently improved, it's still only acceptable cause the Hopper still does a (very) few things that no other vape does. The moment there's a competitor with convection technology, an exchangeable battery, less than 20 seconds heat up time and a fair amount of power, in a slightly larger form factor, that company will be merely a memory of the strange old days.

Hi Joe - I'm doing well, thanks for asking. And you?

V5 bodies came from one of their recent email communications, I believe. We didn't make it up, it came from Hopper and is supposed to be the latest greatest body config.

But, I have no faith in these guys anymore, personally.

I have two GH's, recently RMA'd, both of which run cool to the point that they have to be on L5 to get anything and even there the extraction is not satisfactory.

Tesla vape

.. I hear it's his new fav pastime
I’m sure Tesla could make an amazing vape. I mean they’ve got great battery tech! But judging from Musk’s recent antics he hasn’t given up combustion, lol. There was purportedly cannabis in that big log but can we really confirm that and how much?

Thanks, Baron... I'm well, thanks!

Truer words... no faith, or even enthusiasm, anymore.

Since they're so powerful (when working properly), I'm wondering if heavy use on L5 leads to a higher likelihood of the unit failing... Or on the other hand, maybe not using it on the highest setting frequently leads to failure?

Just a thought

Dunno, not really using them as they are just no longer sufficient functionally, IMO. I'm not wasting my flower in them.

When new and working correctly, 4.2 was the highest I need for solid milk and nice dark extraction....never went up to 5 and could have dropped down a bit if I wanted.

Now, nah...they run cool.

Hey guys, how long did it take for you to get a shipping notification once your rma'ed GH had entered the final testing stage?

I've received the email telling me I had 3 days to confirm my address and add accessories about a week ago and since then nothing. They also mentioned I just had to ask if I had questions, which I did but as I said they remained silent. I might be badmouthing but something tells me I'd have had news from them if I had ordered something...
