Discontinued Haze Square

purchased in late oct so must be phase latest= unless they palmed off an earlier phase.

Btw here is something that has bearing on the paint flakes issue :

Anodic films are generally much stronger and more adherent than most types of paint and metal plating, but also more brittle. This makes them less likely to crack and peel from aging and wear, but more susceptible to cracking from thermal stress.

So I went ahead and got a second unit...makes sense as I use it all day and this.allow.me.to switch.out when battery dies....or in this case...your other unit acts up....few things.I notice....battery wall charging block is smaller and considerably lighter....and I'm not sure if it's just the new unit or what...but I'm getting hella vapor at 365 ....easily 10 hits per pod.......and its packing the famous square "one, two punch".......Will send in my other for repair and break this bad boy in....maybe I should stay away from the word break? Lol

Besides the actual dimensions and weight of the charger... does the unit seem any different as far as Dimensions, build quality or weight

No noticable.differences unless.performance was changed ...like I said I think its.a.fresh new unit....so therefore working.as it should....re:my returns..... one was bad pcb.board....one was messed up due to battery.issue (overheating).....this last one is exhibiting s am e battery.issue......yes I have latest.firmware update....was.told by.haze not to.drain completely and charge batteries......and to recharge at.around 15%.....to avoid swelling battery

Looking for some help. I love this thing, when it's working, but now it only works for one hit. I charge it completely, which lately takes way longer, and when holding the button I can see the coil light up and then immediately go out. When I check the battery after that one hit it's way way down. I've sent two emails to Haze support with no reply. Usually customer service is excellent. I'm from the second round of sales. Any ideas how to fix or get their attention? Hope everything is alright at Haze. Love their stuff

So you sent back old unit 3 times and then bought a new one for that transit time

What other vapes do you own? I don’t see any post history outside this thread, so i really have to ask.

Maybe he was asking do you use a convection or conduction portable vaporizer (then what brand).

So he (or we) can compare it.

That’s exactly why. I don’t and never have owned any other portable vapes. Chill bro, i know you bump the square hard but its not always my cup of tea. I’m considering the Tubo, crafty, air II, and even the MV1 if job stuff goes well. If you own any these and say the square is better than thats valuable info. The square has its pros and cons just like anything else. But any good tool box has more than one tool.

Yes you did.... The Square!

Althrough its vape (singular) not vapes (plural)

As far as "bumping" the haze square... I love the idea, the design (which is why i bought it... I believed in it) but the functionality and effectiveness for me with different phases 1 & 3 have been rough.

Haze cs is awesome but when i ordered in March and its October and im still struggling to use this unit and it sits Idle cleaned waiting for return.. I come here for help, ideas, and to share my experience...

@ginolicious has helped a lot and is unofficial fc Haze customer support.

But those who have experience both good and bad should be able to come here and share.

What we all need to ask ourselves is this; “is a convection vape for me”.

If you have never tried an on demand convection vape before you may experience the same issues you have with the square with any other on demand convection. The vape is not doing the work for you. You are doing the work. It’s like driving a standard car and shifting the gears yourself. Whereas the conduction vape is like an automatic car. Shifting gears for you. Heating the bud for you so you can sip. With convection vapes you really need to pull and get that air through the herb to then transfer into vapor.

If you have successfully hit several on demand vapes and have no issues, maybe you need to get a replacement Square under warranty.

I know when I first started out with this vape it was my first on demand. And it gave a bit of trouble. I’m 3 days in a row same bowl, vapor in every hit.
