I know but it's the only way I can get a good dark brown abv . My temps are 380.410.420.440.460. Anything under 420 gives no vapour I have tried a new coil but still doesn't work. Even at 460 if I wait till the light is green and then draw I barely get vapour. I have to start drawing as soon as I press the button then I get great clouds. Not sure why it's like this but I'm not the only one.i got this technique from another user who posted on the thread a long time ago who was having the same results. I have a faze 3 unit.
I may have to give that technique a try.

Thanks!

I’ve never gotten super dark ABV with any convection vapes. Even desktop ones. I am getting sufficient hits on this for sure. At least 8-10 full draws at 390-420. Don’t feel like I’m wasting any product at all.

8-10 draws with a full chamber- that is 0.3 approximately by my best guess
if so that is not good
I get 8-190 draws on the plenty w < 0.1 gm

How long are the draws on the plenty? These are 10 - 15 second draws I am doing. I draw a bit longer after the heater goes off. That is over a minute of drawing on a very small bowl.

Simple is the way

I like convection vapes, I have a few. All of them produce a nice coffee grind like ABV.

Here's the ones that I find get darker ABV on lower settings:

Grasshopper
Fire Wood 4
Herbalizer
New Vape Flowerpot
MVT
Splinter
Stempod

I don't have issues getting dark ABV in the square either, It just seems like my temps are higher than some other square users to achieve this. My temps are certainly higher than the other convection vapes I use. At the end of the day though the temp reading is just a number on your screen it really doesn't matter as long as the performance your looking for it there.

I Just don't want people to think something is wrong with there unit or to be afraid of turning the heat up if they find they are not getting the performance they are used to with other vapes at some of the standard vape temps.

Totally agree with that. All vapes are different and require different heat settings. If I want some huge clouds off the hop I generally start at 420 or 410. Do that for guests so they can see the vapor. Personally though I don’t go over 430F. 430 is the last 1-2 hit to ensure I ain’t seeing no more vapor and bowl is done.

Hi guys,

Sorry I have been out for few days and looks like all types of misconceptions are being discussed here last few days.

In any industry and on any product, finishes are applied to outer surfaces for cosmetic and protective purposes. It adds cost and time to any product manufacturing. Why would we apply a finish to the internal air path? Logically thinking?

Plus, the entire air path is less than half an inch long and totally visible to the user. Not concealed. In summary, there is no finish on the air path. That was neither specified nor applied to the air path. Now if you have a form of impurity, defect or particle that was left after the manufacturing process on your specific unit, those need to be cleaned of course before first use.

If you prefer to send your unit in, we can inspect and correct/clean/replace where necessary.

There is no plastic used on anywhere on the unit except for the latch/lock mechanism which you can see on the unit. There is no plastic internal our outside other than the latch which you can visibly see on the unit.

In terms of the battery cut off. The charger has its own cut off. On top of this hardware safety feature, we also added a firmware cut off safety function with the latest firmware release. We still do not recommend plugging your unit and leaving, unattended. Just like any other device in this category of products.

Videos should be coming out this week.

Please PM me if you need assistance. I will get to all pending PMs today.

Thanks

I threw away my box when I bought it and don't have the code to register for warranty. I have the device and the receipt. I believe that should be enough. Can you help me? I need to send mine in.

Spent the day playing around with the Square. This thing can mess me up!

The .2g-.25g size bowl is much bigger than I’m used to so adding 4 of them is almost overkill for me, but ideal for passing along with a friend or two. The wide, free flowing air pathway makes for more relaxed, fuller hits which is a huge plus for me. It’s not the lightest or smallest vape on the market but it’s compact enough to slip into a bag or maybe a back pocket.

Taste is also worth noting. It does a pretty good job extracting the natural flavors without any external flavor creeping in. It also produces some pretty impressive clouds but only when fully packed. I enjoy microdosing and the Square doesn’t really do it yet. Adding the mesh pad on top of a smaller load works to a certain extent but isn’t all that effective from my experience so I’ll definitely be looking out for the microdose pods.

Overall, this thing is a beast. I can get smacked real easily and still have enough to pass around.

I haven't used my Square in months it's sitting cleaned ready to ship back, but I did take it out and test this for you to see if it worked after the update

It does connect... just load the app turn on the unit and it recognizes it.

LOL, sorry, that's been the #1 problem
No problem here after Oct Win 10 (64-bit) update.
What have you tried, troubleshooting-wise?

When you plug the unit into your PC, does your PC acknowledge the device (sound and/or notification?) If not, it's prob a hardware thing - cable, port(s)
