So I’ve been using a Might for the past three yea and am at the point of considering an a new portable. I’ve been closely watching the market for new capes over the past year or so. The Ghost has been on top of my wish list. I read all of the positive and negative reviews and now with the release of the Stealth version I’m hoping some of the non user issues have been corrected.
I would love a vape that I can take a puff or two and then come back for more. With the Might I hate the long heat up time and the fact that I have to vape the whole chamber.
I’m interested to hear the feedback from those of you who have a Might and a MV1 and can share the positive and negative comparisons. I’m experienced with different consistency of grinds so I’m not too worried about some of the user related issues.

@fatbiker - I've owned both and IME they are very different vapes. Some similarities: a hefty, sturdy build that suits use as an at-home portable for me. MV1 flavor is off the charts in my book. Yes, you definitely can take a puff or two and return later for a quality remainder of the bowl. The temp 'ramp up/ramp down' speed really feels high tech. It seems to me this heating method is similar to FF2, which is why you'll hear those comparisons of flavor profile.
A quick difference or two between the Might and MV1 - first draw and overall consistency of draw. Based on the conduction/convection hybrid heat cycle of the Mighty, it just pumps out a 'workhorse'-like vapor throughout. Usual terpy first hits, and then degradation of flavor depending on your initial temp. With MV1, those first few pulls are usually wispy but somehow those strains start popping with crisp flavor on 2nd and 3rd hits.
User related issues plagued some of the MV1 rollout, but it seems to have smoothed out. My biggest suggestion is (based on my early, non-Stealth version), while adjusting that mouthpiece, you HAVE to hold the heat sink assembly down for a proper seal.
With those silly car comparisons, I'd say Mighty = Toyota Camry and MV1 = BMW Sedan LOL

I have both and will try to compare some aspects---
Flavor goes to MV1 by a good margin. I'd say Mighty flavor is not "bad", Mighty's just more meh or lack of the true true flavor. MV1 can give that low temp lemon drop flavor for lemony strains in a way that's unmatched by Mighty.
Effects: MV1 somehow seems to get one "really medicated" . Mighty is no slouch but MV1 goes above and beyond.
Capsules: Not a great fan of either but Mighty capsules stay way too hot for way too long . MV1-wish they had a secure lid but at least they cool down quickly.
Heatup time: MV1 is really FAST, Mighty- not
Vapor quality for harshness or smoothness: Mighty CU helps to cool the vapor and make it easier on the throat but MV1 goes way beyond where you can take a big big hit and wonder---did I get much there?--and then exhale a huge huge cloud. MV1 IMO has best "smooth but powerful" vapor of any vape without using water piece.
Battery system- love removable batteries like MV1
Temp controls- love the Mighty dig display to any temp. You can change MV1 temps but I'm not a phone/app person so much prefer dig control on the unit.
Ease of use/consistent- huge win for Mighty here---any grind or whole buds, any temp, any newbie, any draw style or method---plop in some bud, set temp, hit and rip. MV1 needs much more attention to grind etc and still there are sessions where it just "ain't quite there" today...
Aesthetics - MV1 looks like Apple device, modern and high quality, Mighty--looks like a portable air pump from Walmart
Mighty is a great unit, super easy to use. MV1 is a greater unit in many aspects but takes more due diligence

Just opened my heatsink to clean but now I cant get it to fully seal again! Any help appreciated.

Use lube...spit or burt's bees. Also before that, take it out and work it slightly...and it's directional so line it up right
How do you guys like the operation? I've never used a vaporizer with such an operating system each time I watch a review when I hear about this I'm reminded the operation does not sound simple? Does it eventually become intuitive?

Early on, I complained about it quite a bit. It becomes second nature. I had a 3-4 month break and started right up without confusion.

I have found that putting the black gasket on the top of the heatsink first, then adding the ceramic piece so those 3 pieces are together first. Then sliding everything in the main part of the heatsink is much easier and flawless than putting the ceramic on the black gasket and then adding the lid last.

This is definitely the best question to ask when thinking about buying an MV1. How you react to the following will let you know if it's for you.
The operation becomes easier, but you'll never honestly "like" it in the sense that "wow I'm impressed with this design." No that wont happen in terms of simple operation. Rather, you tolerate it, become better at it, and, for some, come to enjoy the ritual, basically.
Two or three times out of ten the lid will slide off kilter, or the crucible catches for a moment before dropping into place, or a silicone gasket is not set right, or it doesn't seem to turn on no matter what you do for a few seconds, or some spec of herb is between the lid and the crucible, or you singe a finger slightly and drop the crucible or lid because they're hot, or the app wont sync, or you'll run through the lights two or three times trying to change a setting before getting it right, or you'll forget to change the battery early, or you didnt disconnect the battery last use and it stayed in stand by and battery is now dead, or the lid or the whole thing needs a cleaning, or its overheated and you need to take it apart and wait to cool...
It's a good vape when it works.
It's a sitting on a couch with a coffee table in front of you vape. It isn't always simple to operate, and it is not very discrete or that portable. The crucible holders helps tremendously.
Load it for your friends and they can enjoy it easy enough, but dont expect them to load it unless they're familiar with the process. If you're going to pass it around a lot, you'll need two or three units because the units cannot handle many crucibles in a row on high heat back to back (which you'll have it on because you'll want the biggest clouds to show it off)... The new stealth unit likely helped a few, but definitely not all of the above.
Thems' the downsides as to operation. The upsides are tasty cool vapor and great clouds for a battery powered unit. The vapor is so cool it creeps up on you, like others have said. However, it has major competition that isnt nearly as expensive, clouds just as big, and without nearly "the little things to know so it works good" learning curve.

I completely disagree. I am impressed by the design of this vape. From the weight of it to the crucible system. I would not part with this vape for anything. I am in love with my Ghost. But to each his own.
Just to mention, 420vapezone did a Ghost IG stream yesterday & he said that he got 12 crucibles out of 1 battery charge, all on level 5 (i.e. 2 red) & the unit didn't overheat once.

Just bit the bullet and ordered the stealth bundle. I love this forum and use it every time I’m in the market to buy a new vape. I have two questions.
1. Is there a burn in time or can I use it right out of the box after battery is charged?
2. Should I charge the batteries the full 8 hrs at first while new or can I slap it on the quick charger for the two hours and blaze away? Again, this forum is great and I can’t thank all of its members enough for their honesty and information they put forward. I now wait like a kid on Xmas eve for the special gift coming my way.

I'd recommend a full disassemble of heatsink and remove green silicone, the big one, and soak in soapy water to remove the oils one the device.
After a thorough clean and reassemble ( pay attention the the direction of heat sink gasket) and load a dry crucible and take a few practice drags once your battery is charged...only a few though.
Charge battery on your quick charger fully betore first use..takes about 2 hours.

I’ve never removed the big green assembly of silicone. Can you do that? How hard is it to reseat? It just seems like that shouldn’t come out.

There is the big one and then the smaller one below it that sits below the crucible. Only remove the big one above it. Both mine smelled like new rubber when I received so I'd recommend a wash.
It's easy to remove and reinstall but is rarely needed to be removed

With nothing in the oven, turn the MV1 to concentrate mode, or three red dots. Hold the heating button on the back of the device and hold it until it shuts off, but don’t draw on the MV1. Repeat this process two or three times, until you don’t smell anything. Set the temperature back to the third power level, and wait for it to cool down while you grind your herbs.
The upper green silicone can be removed and easily put back in, but I would recommend not taking it out if you do not have to.

The operation design of the unit is cumbersome is my point. Swinging latches and crucible lids and long light/button patterns and silicone seals that need to be together a certain way, etc.
The heatsink cooling design is very good.
I also said they may have cured some problems with the ghost edition. Overheating was one of my units major issues.

I just saw the Halloween special for 295.00. Strange,I just bought the stealth bundle for 395.00 yesterday and the only difference is I’m getting a xtra battery for 100 bucks more? Says they are 60.00 by themselves. Am I missing something? Is it because it’s the stealth version?
