OF your so amazing!
Do U still use a SOLO?

Do fat dogs fart?

Not always every day, and not always Solo. Sometimes ArGo (not Air in some time). I make up for missed days with extra uses when I come back. Two stems in Solo II yesterday, prolly several more before the weekend.

And you? Still faithful?

Good to have you back, someone has to ask the really important questions around here you know.

Ataxian is over at Vapor Asylum. I've seen a few of his posts over there. He thinks he's been banned from this site. But I'd also heard he'd lost his log-in information. He's very active and very civilized at VA.

Glad he found his way back home, I sure wasn't interested in some lesser Forum just to chat with him.......

I'm not actually sure I checked out VA, but I checked out a pile of the others a while back, very disappointing really IMO. FC is the call for me, clearly superior due to our beloved Mods keeping it between the ditches?

@ataxian so good to see you here my friend. I wanted you to know that because of your CIVILIZED nature I got me a Solo OG. No bling for me. And I love it. It's the only regulated session vape I own, and it's all I need to check that box.

Cheers
And your the reason I own one of the best vapes. So i guess I can owe that to @ataxian too. Everyone should have a Solo in thier collection, even if it's there only one. Consistent tank like machine. That can absolutely rip through water. In fact I purchesd a couple glass pieces just for the Solo.

So true. His enthusiasm is infectious, clearly sincere. Hard not to consider seriously. We could use more like him, just not all at the same time.......

Kinda scares the women and horses from time to time, but I'm against running him off. Just keep him away from your glass.

I've been taking a t-break to give my lungs a rest from all the combusting with an old hash pipe.

Hey, don't be so hard on yourself.....you were younger then, right?

Great upgrade. Not only will your weed bill go WAY down (I'd say the average is to 1/4 or 1/3 of former consumption) since you're no longer burning up THC in come ill conceived fire. And, since you're also eliminating lots of nasty stuff that was in the smoke, you get to live longer enjoying it.

All in all, not a bad trade-off.....

Looking forward to your report as you get up to speed. TIA

You are so right, I did not really think that smoking herb was as bad for you as say cigarettes......BUT when I started having respiratory issues I finally had to admit that that smoking (combustion) anything is just plain bad for you period! Feeling much better now that I have stopped.

I ordered the Solo online so awaiting delivery in a few days.....looking forward to sharing my experience.

Yer welcome. I wouldn't put too much faith in that being right part, had to happen sooner or later.......

Yes, as the saying goes 'you don't have to stick your face in the campfire to get high'. Lucky for us that is true.

When we first smoked pot it was nasty. Remember? Smoke in your lungs??? But we were rewarded with THC, which we really liked. Like Pavlov's dogs linking the bell to food our brains linked the two. The dogs surely didn't like the noise, but being fed..... Eventually you can actually 'get off' on THC free smoke under the right conditions. If you expect it. Sort of a 'contact high'.

In 'getting into' vaping your brain needs to break that link, so you can get off without the smoke. This takes from a few day to a week or more, depending. I'd say maybe a week on average? I took a bit longer. Important you don't 'backtrack' even once. Getting off by 'just one bowl' blazing can reset the clock.

Then a really fun thing happens. Someone passes you a joint or similar and you find out smoking is just as repulsive as it ever was.

Welcome to the Forum and all the good stuff therein. Lots of good folks here 'bouts, willing to share experience and help out when we can. I'm guessing/hoping you're becoming a regular around here, contributing a lot.

You've got some adventures ahead with Solo, good stuff, as you explore the possibilities. BTW sooner or later you'll get around to experimenting with screens both to keep debris contained and as a load reduction exercise. I suggest you order a few of these domed screens. They can be used 'dome up' to cut the load about in half (always start with a fresh load.....) or 'dome down' for debris and fouling control. Either lets you go much longer between cleanings over flat screens (which have most of the holes blocked) since there are so many more holes 'working'. It takes a lot longer to foul every one of them and jam up the works.

So, when it gets there, fully charge it before any use (even 'overcharge' the first time, several hours, even 'overnight'). This establishes max capacity on the battery bank. After that, ironically best battery lifetime comes with avoiding full charges again! Stopping 10% early (less than a single session) DOUBLES the battery life from a typical 300 'cycles' to 600. Also 'running it down until it crashes' is bad for the pocket book. You should plan to spend your money on new vapes and tasty herb from that top shelf, not replacement batteries?

Oh, yeah, don't let @ataxian near your glass, he breaks stuff you know......

Regards to all.

Hey OF, thanks for the tips, they are sending some screens with my order but maybe not the domed ones, I'll have to get some as that sounds like a good idea.

I am totally committed to using a vaporizer from here on out, I'm on day 12 of my break and have not cheated BUT the funny thing is that I dreamt about being at party where there was a roach being passed around.

Don't forget to sterilize your unit after charging by running on high for 20 minutes empty.
This burns off any factory lubes or dust that may be in your oven from production and will also help inserting your stems the first time.

Thank you arb, thought I read that somewhere.....you just saved me a lot of time looking around for that info.
