Excited....and nervous!

......My dispensary also lists the amount of CBD, which is handy. I mostly enjoy sativa hybrids in the early evening or for social stuff and indica hybrids later.

My advice for vaporizers is to frame the shopping/research as a "which vape will a buy first?" sort of thing.

I too was a pot smoker with a long time off and the experience is cleaner than I ever enjoyed with combustion. Coming back down is particularly more pleasant with little to no grogginess.

I do believe we're going to have the same sort of labelling that indicates percentage of thc/cbd which will be helpful. As for which vaporizer will be my first, as of yesterday it's the Solo II. At this point I'm not sure if and when I'll be in the market for another, although if what seems to be the vast majority of FC'ers who have several is any indication, I imagine it'll be a case of when, not if! :lol:

I'm almost embarrassed to admit this, but it's been so long, that I'd completely forgotten about coming down.....oh man, I'm sooooo green!

VAS, GRAS, & GLAS are a mother-fucker, but they can be sooooooo rewarding!
I know that my collection is only just getting started. And I've probably got at least 15 -20 years or more to keep building it.

I’m going to need some help with those acronyms, the glossary does not seem to work, thanks!

VAS = Vaporizer Acquisition Syndrome
GRAS = Grinder Acquisition Syndrome
GLAS = Glass Acquisition Syndrome

Hang around long enough, and you'll develop all three!

Ahhh...of course!...and it appears that you most definitely have at least 2 of those particular afflictions ;)

It's taken me a couple of years to collect all that. I came back from a 10-year brake myself about two and a half years ago. Smoked for about the first six months before I got my first dry-herb vape. The rest is history. lol

I have glass too, but it's either chinaglass or from a glass-blower on Instagram, and I can't remember the names of any of them. That's why I haven't added any of them to my signature.

Eventually!

*Edit* I realized It's been more like a year and a half since I started vaping

I recommend having a backup vape.

When I sent my primary desktop vape in for service, I was scrambling.

But explore a bit, determine if you're going to be more of a flower or concentrate person, or perhaps both, which will dictate which type of vaporizer is better for you.

Thanks for this. Hopefully I won't experience a failure too soon and I can continue to research other vapes that will suit my purposes. Fortunately my local shop has a good supply of different vaporizers so that if I need one in a hurry, I'll be able to get a replacement.
