Boundless Tera

Ah ok - I hadn't noticed that before.

I had contacted them previously to ensure I was able to get the V3 from them. They said they had some of both available and they would make sure they sent me the V3 if I ordered.

When I saw the sale I couldn't help but go for it. Contacted them directly to ensure I got the right model - they said they had to open the box to check but assured me it was - and it is, at least based on the info here (screen in chamber, serial on bottom)

After an initial bowl or two, I realized the "plastic taste" was not from the mouthpiece. I used the rest of the charge on the set of batteries and an additional set of two 18650's to run the unit on concentrate mode to remove the "plastic" smell from the Tera.

That said, the only vape I took with me yesterday on my 6 hour round trip (via public transit) to my dispensary was the Tera.

Any tricks to keep the screen in place? Any trouble with it staying put?

Thanks...

I suggest replacing it with a 5/8 mesh screen, fits perfectly and airflow is less restrictive.

Excellent. Thank you.

Just really stumbled upon the Tera recently. I like that it's mostly convection. Portability is good enough in general . Could be my next purchase as the price is right for me.

I'm a little worried about the off smells but those should dissapate with time given it's a v3.

For the junk that gets past the screen and enters the heating air path, is there any way to clean that air path out?

Anybody who does not have one of these should get one! They are BOMB. They are GREAT for micro-dosing by loading just the tip of the stem, ala "log vape". You will get 4-5 nice rips! Im using 390F! Works AWESOME!!!
I've seen that piece a few times here and it looks really nice

Questions for owners: how do you clean the stem's air path? I can't imagine it would be suitable for stem milk, I wouldn't want to boil it.

Would like to know how to keep it clean

I think you would just use something to scrape it out. I don't think it would be an issue for quite a while though.

Ahh now I understand what you meant by this at IG bro, my bad been a long day. I appreciate you spreading the word and wanted to show you all what I did the other day. Its a bit longer for added vapor cooling. Really digging this unit.

Oh nice - yes please

I guess I'm not really keen on scraping the wood. Just thinking back to the bad old days of scraping reclaim out of wood pipes and really mucking them up, no to mention the bits of wood in the next bong hit.

@Ed's TnT - how would you recommend cleaning these beautiful pieces of wood from build up? I'd hate to do anything to damage them

Using the solo stem in the Tera and packing in the stem.

I know the solo stem works well with the Tera as for a longer air path. I have seen how to take the glass Tera mouthpiece and just replace that Tera glass with the solo stem.

I'm wondering if anyone has used the solo stem and found a way in which you can pack our herb in the solo Stem instead of in the Tera bowl. Will the silicone stretch over the stem so the Solo stem sits inside the bowl?

Good morning,

@fattyboombatty Glad you like what I have done. Blackwood being a super dense wood species the grain is really really tight so any build up can easily be cleaned by dipping a cotton swab in high proof drinking alcohol then simply swabbing and pushing through at either end. Once done you can remove the cotton let dry and vape it. The wood itself should never ever be soaked or washed in any liquid. A tooth pick or something similar could be used to scrape out the inside. I would use a wood type tool rather than metal. Still the wood being so dense could handle alot more punishment from metal than most species but would recommend a wood scraping tool if ya had too use one. I hope I have been helpful.

@BigJr48 Brother thanks for stepping in and posting for me, I appreciate you always!

@roncruiser & @sickmanfraud That longer piece I posted was a great piece I did for a long time customer that I had been putting off for a while just didnt have the parts I needed to get him right. I am going to be making moire of these and offering them on the site next week so pls keep an eye out and I will do my best to let you all know here they are available.

Thanks all for the interest in my work and I will be in touch soon!

Thats what I do with Ed's stem. I pack the stem instead of loading the bowl when I want to Micro-dose!

With all the accessories available and modifications that can be done to the Tera,
I made my purchase direct from Boundless just moments ago. The Tera should be here mid-next week! I'm excited.

Now, to backtrack through the thread and note which longer glass stems fit and have the larger diameter airpath. Also, I'm definitely getting the longer wood stem from Ed when it's available!

Can anyone confirm if the Healthy Rips Fury 2 dosing capsules fit the Tera, or are the same size as the SB dosing capules. I like the full screen design of the Healthy Rips dosing capules.
