The Rain. We just started to watch this last evening, and I must say that it holds my interest, my hubby says it reminds him of 28 Days. Good post-apocalyptic fun.

Try out "Mindhunter" - it's absolutely riveting!
Absolutely! I am waiting for the next season. So many good shows on right now. I missed Killing Eve last night (BBC America), but, this afternoon, I'll catch up. I have enjoyed watching shows FCers' like, some work for me , others, not so much. The Terror (AMC) , I finally got a sound bar for the television, so now I can hear the damn thing. I watched the first episode, and will continue with the series, so far interesting, not scary yet. Keep those suggestions coming.

This has probably been posted, but Altered Carbon may be the best original Netflix scifi yet. Warning - it's a very complex story in a very interesting dystopia. It reminded me of Blade Runner world - only without the replicants. It's an exciting and violent series, and it's a bit disorienting at first, but it's worth the time investment.

In contrast to Lost in Space, which, oddly enough, is on par with the original series - not much makes real sense, and the characters actions are often dumb, and why doesn't anyone seem to care what everyone else (including the family) is doing? Why doesn't anyone communicate with each other about what's going on? And and...why hasn't the mother-ship noticed it's entire communications array is missing - yet they transmit every day? and what's the deal with the "robot" and why did he figure out enough english to say "danger will robinson" and nothing else? Ok..I will admit I am watching the series with friends and no series has caused so much discussion, so I guess that's a good thing.

BTW, is this thread limited to only Netflix streams, cause there a few gems on Amazon Prime and Hulu.

@Solomon In would appreciate any wisdom from all the sources. I think most have Netlix and Amazon....I also have Hulu but don't use it much.

On Netflix:
In Tucker and Dale vs. Evil, Tucker and Dale are a couple of poor hillbillies trying to make the best of a dilapidated vacation house they've purchased in the woods. Serving as a parody of redneck horror movies, things go terribly awry when they encounter a group of remarkably clumsy college kids who are convinced they are serial killers.

Gave it a brief try but I felt like I was going to have to spend too much time getting to know the characters. Sometimes playing close attention isn't my forte.

Surprisingly... the new Sabrina Witch series. Watched the old series with my daughters when they were young - this series is NOTHING like that one. Okay, not "nothing". She is still a half witch teenager, and her boyfriend is still Harvey, and she is in high school, but it's not for kids. Now we have sex, murder, and outright in-your-face Satanism!

Anyway, it's truly weird, sometimes creepy, and often funny as Sabrina deals with demons from hell and avoids signing away her soul to Satan while wondering what prom dress to wear.

Bodyguard was a good binge. Outlaw King was good. I am about to watch the Ballad Of Buster Scruggs....wish me luck....

Okay its not for everyone but I liked it. Dark humor.
