Sorry to hear its not working out.
Can you tell if the odor is coming from the guts of the vape or is it just a stubborn surface odor? I wonder if burying it under some charcoal or baking soda for a few days would fix it.
I have sniffed the entire surface of the Fierce like a hound dog and discovered that the battery compartment is an origin of some very strong robot fart odor. People need to clean out the battery compartment and wipe down the battery. This should help a lot with that manufactured smell.

I too have a Vapcap but wouldnt want it as my only vape.

What about the people out there who are disappointed with the Mighty?
Do you really want a vape that you need to bury under some charcoal powder or baking soda for a few days?

My Fierce is delivered and charged and I'm doing burn offs plus some initial accessories cleaning now.

I got the black mouthpiece apart by just pulling the black bit out like you do with the Fury 2. I haven't managed to pull anything off the accessories attachment. Does it come apart for cleaning?

I got mine, today, charge it, did what I think is a burn-off then loaded and use it, yes it has some kind of flavorish, but being a blunt/bong/paper/pipe guy for the last 33 years this taste great, probably it wear off after a couple of hours or maybe days...I really like it so far

The foreign taste/smell went away rather quickly for me... I love this this vape! The flavor is excellent at low temps!!

Just do a few burnoffs at max time and temp as you would with any new vape...

I've even gotten VapCaps with leftover machine oil and residue...

How is the vapor production/quality and efficiency compared to the boundless cf/x? A little better or completely different ball game?

Everything except the extra Battery Coin Screw came with and I must say the dosing capsules are smaller than I thought they'd be but thats fine with me. I must have a terrible sense of smell cause it's there, I just don't notice it that much but my other does. So its more or less mine until the scent goes away. Score.

Edit: Did anyone elses come almlst fully charged

Mine did. 15 minutes in the charger and it was full somewhere in there. I unplugged and replugged it a few times, each time it started to charge again then stopped.

Yes, takes a tiny bit more effort, but comes out the same way as native mp.

Hmm, i've just had mine on the charge for 2hrs now (manual says 3hrs so ima play it safe) but once it hits 3 ill see but I dont quite understand what you mean exactly. So yours wont hold a "Full bar" charge, just the 4 bars that it came already charged with?

How many people didnt get their extra battery coin lock?

In my F2 I used to start at 360° and worked my way up to 410°w/o capsules. My first few days with the capsules made my ABV very green and inconsistent because of my lack of understanding of how they change the dynamics of the heating (do the capsules make it more convection or more conduction)

With the capsules in I bumped it up to 365°-375° and finished off at 415°
I'm not an expert but I'm guessing the dosing capsules add conduction to the process. Just my two cents...

I for sure thought they were gonna be a lot bigger! Ill use the same technique. Thank you, thats good info to keep in the back pocket

Just finished my first solo session with the Fierce and I like it just fine so far.

I opted for a half a bowl with the black mouthpiece to see it at its least impressive first. Hit it three or four times at 375, 395, and 414°.

The clouds weren't big and the flavor wasn't amazing. The hits had that airy Fury 2 quality but were less harsh at each temp, which felt weird because the device itself (mostly the body but also the tip of the mouthpiece eventually) gets hotter than my Fury 2.

What I like most is the high feels a bit more convectiony. I feel like I vaped this amount on my Lil Bud. My Fury 2 is among my most used vapes but for its versatility and effectiveness and not because I love the flavor or vapor quality with the built in mouthpiece.

I doubt the Fierce is overtaking anybody's Mighty. I'm still optimistic the it'll fare well against my Solo II once I'm using the glass options.

I bought the F2 capsules for my Snap (Fury clone) and they're awesome - for quick swaps and on-the-go- but do reduce the amount of material you can have for a load. I would think another layer of metal between the material and the chamber falls into the conductive category but, again, I'm not an expert or engineer.

As for adjusting temps and methodology, I usually keep it at one temp with or without dosing capsules, and I've increased the temp just a bit with the capsules. It really depends on material and preference. I don't chase clouds like many of you do so I'm usually around 365-375 most of the time, without (mostly) and with capsules. And my Snap is way better than my Hopper however I do think I'm using about the same amount of herb in each. By looks alone their chamber capacities are similar (I'd need to confirm and compare exact sizes). Happy vaping!

Sorry, I can see why you didn't understand me.....this thing works!

It had 3 bars out of the box. I put it on the charger and within no time it was screen off, done charging. I unplugged it and plugged it back in, and it showed charging for a few minutes and stopped charging again, full again. I did this a few times, I think three and left it on for the rest of the three hours.

Then I played!

No extra door button here either, I think it was in my set.

Well, mine definitely has some robot fart going on when pulling on it empty, noticeable with both the native and glass mp. This is after swabbing the oven with rubbing alcohol and doing a few burnoffs at 430F. Haven't tried it with anything in the oven yet. Hopefully the taste/aroma fades.

Edit: on the bright side, I'm not seeing any visible fumes coming off of it with a flashlight in a dark room.

Does anybody else's unit have an issue where like the heat keeps climbing in temp until like ~20ish degrees before the heat they're going for and then just jumps up to the selected temp, but then moving the temp around a bit shows it wasn't actually at the temp you were going for originally?
It's hard to explain but it doesn't seem quite right, and I want this baby perfect.

Mine does the same thing. Other than that minor concern, I love it!

Yes, while I don't (yet) have one, Fury 2 and a whole lot of other vapes do this. It's called "masking" in the trade. Once close enough (are you sure it's 20 degrees, usually it's a much smaller 'window') the display goes to 'ready' (often taking away the heating indicator as well) lest over anxious owners obsess over unimportant details.

Consider the indication is not really what we assume it is (load temperature) but is really based as all vapes are on heater temperature measurements (sure to be a bit 'ahead' of the load).

Perfectly normal, not to worry.......enjoy instead?

The smell/taste issue is real for me too.
Here’s what I have done so far to help get rid of it:
- Soaked all pieces in hot, soapy water. Rinsed well.
- Did several burn-offs with ABV.
- Swiped oven with ISO while heated.
- While doing burn-offs, I blew air through the airholes at bottom to force air through mp without having to inhale ABV. (Not the whole time, just several times).
- Soaked silicone pieces in coconut oil for 10 minutes and wiped off to help neutralize the smell/taste.

It’s definitely better, but still there a bit. Plan on following advice of @OF and others about letting it air out tonight. I will leave a fan on with all the pieces spread out overnight.

Once the bad taste goes away, I think there is a lot to really like here. I look forward to putting it through the paces over the next few days!

Doing burnoffs. It's getting late.

Inhaling to speed thing up, and to savor that new vape taste.

Nice glass adapter design. Can set it down without burns or breaks:
