CLASSIC flowerpot line. It's truly on another level for old fashioned style bong hits sans flame!
I just like the style. The way the device functions is just meant for me. I love bongs and it's perfect.
There's something for everyone, but a vape like this is hard for me to stop using. Then again, my favorite portables are both broken, and I've paid for the repairs and not sent them... So maybe if I had options, but this pretty much makes me not fix my options.

Has anyone used it with the tablet styled controller box? I'm blanking on the name. I want that and the vrod update to really geek out my setup

Yea to be honest I’ve had VAS for a long time and I did a lot of smoking with many toys! Absolutely stopped and haven’t dabbed yet (couple home Rosins but will reserve till actual oil) . Microloading on point. 0.075 full extraction and ya face falls off. It’s what I knew I wanted a vape to be before I started vaping.

Edit to add I didn’t read this page and people saying exact same thing so I’ll expand. Said I’ll go easy on cloud but it’s best comparison so whatever, plus it’s great but for me a lazy man not big on change this is the issue. The unit is the light and the bowl? Not how I roll and I’ll wind up smoking. Flowerpot the bowl is the bowl and sits in the bong, the glass one being so identical to a traditional smoking cone it actually makes you want to cry, and the VROD IS THE LIGHTER! It’s honestly beautiful. Thanks newvape, very cool!

Edit to add dish is currently the “right” way up because I tried a home made dab, yet to swap because she works either way. Will try it and the glass a bit more.

Little video to celebrate the fact you can always load less than you’d ever think, and it will always milk more than you’d think! And this is very average bud people! Got some good stuff I might get out for a play

After finally seeing what you were talking about the ELB top, now I understand your way... I did it a few times like that too... but it's an extra step than the regular way jajajaja
and it's a real micro dose jajajaja

Brilliant for a microdose. Regular flat screen set up is great for big sessions. For 8 hits from a half a gram ELB top works well, sits in a little loose though.

I upgraded my VROD carb cap and I am amazed at the difference from the original VROD carb cap. This new version is much heavier and has a carved out space for the VROD inlet hole and dish nut. Highly recommended upgrade.

New Vape is the best because there stuff just keeps getting better (all of it). They even tossed in a gift. Looks like I am going to have to order the dabber stand now. :p

All I can say is I am not worthy of such superior customer service treatment. It makes me want to buy more New Vape gear just to say thank you.

Interesting, I wasn't paying close enough attention when I swapped out my Vrod carb caps during the Rev C upgrade program.

Gotta say, it doesn't surprise me though! Like you said, they're always looking for ways to improve.

I did notice between my Rev A and Rev C Vrod head, the threads extend down further, making it easier to get the first thread to catch when assembling the Vrod.

Edit: I saw there was some comparison talk between the FP and the EVO a page or two back. Prior to the FP, the EVO was my daily driver. I honestly don't think I've pulled the EVO out of the closet since I've gotten the FP earlier this year.

Not to say the EVO isn't great, it served me well for many years and truly opened my eyes up to what a vaporizer is capable of. But once I had my new toy (the FP), it was hard to go back!

I'll need to pull the EVO out for a day or two and really do a good comparison now that the newness/honeymoon period has ended with the FP.

I know the FP will destroy the EVO for concentrates, I was never a huge fan of concentrates in the EVO. But I suspect the flower performance will be fairly close.

Now that I have had a few rosin rips with the new VROD carb cap there is a definite flavor punch that I never experienced using the OG VROD carb cap.

When an upgrade actually improves flavor I would have to say that is one hell of an upgrade. I love these kind of surprises. The reason I bought the new VROD carb cap because I wanted two different dabbers on caps for convenience sake so this intensified flavor is a double win.

Anyone else noticed this with the new VROD carb caps. I don't even know how long they have been around.

I simply ordered the VROD carb cap and I got a new version. I would contact New Vape to make sure what version they are on. I could be wrong but I think it may be version B or C. It makes a huge difference in flavor. They look identical except what is underneath the hood. Here is a pic below. There is much less space for the vapor to travel.

The one on the left is the new version.

Hmmm, I'm not sure I have the upgraded Vrod cap then. Will have to wait til I'm back home to confirm. But that's a big enough difference that I'd be shocked if I didn't notice it. But to be fair, the FP does put me on another level!

On the NV website, it says the Rev B Vrod carb cap started shipping 7/18/18. I did my Rev C Vrod head upgrade on 7/21/18, so I theoretically should have the new cap.

Perhaps Rev B was simply slightly enlarged to allow the NV 28mm SiC dish, and your new Vrod carb cap is actually a newer Rev C?

@NewVape710 or @newvape918 , is the Vrod carb cap pictured above on the left, the Rev B or Rev C Vrod carb cap? If so, when did the Rev C caps start to ship?

Thanks.

I definitely need one of these carb caps! Might make a huge difference ...

Interesting. But funny that nobody talked about before!? Even no official statement from NV.

It's possible this newer cap is a Rev C cap that just started shipping a few days/weeks ago. It seems lately NV just rolls out the updates without any fan fare or announcement. The Rev E and F Vrod heads weren't announced any way that I saw, people just noticed the differences on the site/IG. Come to think of it, I have no idea what the Rev D Vrod head was, don't remember any mention of it.

@NewVape710 @newvape918 what was the change to the Rev D Vrod head?

Rev B - plugged the center hole in the diffuser
Rec C - slightly enlarged dish slot to allow the slightly larger NV SiC dish
Rev D - ?
Rev E - Wrench flats
Rev F - Redesigned wrench flats

Perhaps you could add the changes to different revisions and dates they shipped to the FlowerPot University section of the site?

I bet this new revision carb cap significantly improves the performance/spread of the oil on the surface ... one of my issues with the original I must say ... using the d-nail cap doesn't work out very well though, so ...

Guess I need to start thinking about putting together a NV order!

Wow that's interesting that there's a new carb cap. Curious if it promotes more or less reclaim with the added weight and tunnel.

What did you not like about the D-nail cap? I was thinking of trying that one to see how the internal seal compared to the vrod cap which seals on the outside of the dish. I've been using the SiC dish on a flat coil base so the carb cap doesn't seal the same way as on the VROD since the vrod has that machined lip for the cap to sit on.

If you are using it on a flat coil then you will like the d-nail cap :) I just didn't like it with the VROD as the VROD nut is quite large, and it brought it very close to the cap, and I found I got a lot of splatter and overall it just didn't work that well. (my guess why was because of the much larger nut on the VROD vs the dnail Halo)

A while back the new Vape website was easy to see what the newly released products were, and that was very helpful. I'm also liking how newvape is not scared to release new product but the caveat to that would be they kind of need to let us know somehow, @newvape918 you guys should have a section on your website for new product, and maybe some sort of information showing the previous revisions so that we can get this straight. it's frustrating to hear that something new has come out , that I know nothing about although I'm on their site weekly at the very least looking for upgraded product.

So Vrod Carb Cap Rev C

Its a marriage between the Lollicap and the Vrod carb cap.

1- Some of the new features will include the fact that it actually sits on the dish as opposed to it sitting on the Vrod itself, this in itself causes it to seal off better.

2 - Additionally, Ruby Balls will not have all that space to bounce around in but will be restricted to the dish. Because Ruby Balls!

3 - Finally, the Vrod Carb Cap is now compatible with all of our 28mm Enail set ups because it no longer restricts the center hole in those particular set ups.

The official ship day is today

Also, Im sure the photo below will answer a lot of questions. Ed said it was cool to share this BP and the revs.

Just a dude
@newvape918 I think @graydeh1 is onto a great idea, it would be easy to show in a picture. Something like a revision timeline in the image strip of the product in question? Just a simple linear graphic with rev numbers/dates would be easy to do. There wouldn’t be too many to make, as not many products have multiple revisions, but it would ease the prospective customer’s mind if they’re confused or just want to confirm that they’re getting the latest, greatest version. It can be overwhelming for some people.

I confess that I too am at the NV site at least weekly and lately I’ve noticed the same as @graydeh1 in that the FP Parts Page seems less organised. I noticed the “Pax Loading Tool” has been removed on the FP page as well, I thought it was smart to offer both loading tools. Tbh, it is the very best loading tool for all my vapes. Perhaps the best-designed cannabis scoop of all time. The Muhammad Ali of loading tools!

I think NV should drop the “Pax” in the name because it could easily be the “VapCap” or “Log Vape” or honestly just “The NewVape Loading Tool”. There’s literally nothing like it, you can tell at a glance the approximate load size because it is so consistent. It’s simply a product that’s outgrown its intended purpose audience, just by being so kick-ass. I can’t believe I have been this passionate about a scoop. :mental:

Mmmmmm, I love cross sections of things. Especially something like the Vrod! Gets me all tingly

Thank you very much, those are two VERY informative pics!

So I actually have a Rev D Vrod head, as I have the modified internal threading. Which makes sense, because my exchanged Vrod head shipped the day you all started shipping the Rev D.

I see you've updated the Vrod carb cap page too. I think there might be one slight mistake though. You state on that page that the Vrod carb cap Rev B started shipping 7/18, but I think it started shipping on 6/1, when the Rev C head was released, right?

Keep up the great work in the shop!
