Sticky Brick Labs Vaporizer

It would be interesting to hear someone try the Runt and tell us what difference there is with the Junior, i. don't get it: is it that the glass is longer than the Junior's? It doesn't look that longer on the pictures :hmm:

edit: i saw the pictures in Vapor_Eyes' post and the in-take is indeed much longer!
I think i'll get the canary as the OG was feeding my V.A.S. symptom lately, the Runt seems a better alternative with the accessories compatibles between the two (and i'm sure i'll end up buying an oG one of these days too... help me i'm sick! :haw:)

edit2: well, i'll have to check if the in-take is that longer than my Junior's when i put it upside down (already longer than in position to close the lid). If it is only 1-2 cm longer i'll take the OG instead (to have a totally different experience) and a mini-bubbler (if vaposhop or vapefiend sell it soon, and not too expensive)

3 in a row... not my fault i'd have edited but no option for that...
Isn't it a beauty?

They propose the Runt for 139.95$ (or Junior 149.95$)+ Minibubbler at 70$ (instead of 89$), that's more reasonable than the steep 89$ for the mini bubbler alone, and you get 2 restrictor discs in the box, nice! (but i get their "make US factories great again" policy, totally legit but still 70$ is better :D)
I may be tempted, the only thing is i know that Fedex would add a 30-40% customs' tax price in Italy, i can't recall if the USPS also applies that stealing fee...:goon:
Walnut? Black Limba? for the contrast with the orange o-ring? or the Canary?
more questions, you're never quite alone when you have V.A.S., always debating with yourself...

I am owner of og and hydro attachment that i connect to dab rig to use. Anyway... question is has anyone tried a heat gun with low setting down to 350-450 degrees? I just bought one online that has dail so u can go between 200 and 900 so im hopping by finding i can eliminate the trail n error part of the torch lighter. Ill be back in few days n let ppl know about it. Og brick ftw best vape imo =]

It had been a while since i last used this device but gave it a deep clean by hitting all the wood with a high proof rum and using hot water and ISO to clean the glass tube today. Almost as good as new, and again reminded what a fantastic damn vape this is.

I have a lot of vapes in the arsenal but the Sticky convection style will ALWAYS hold a need for me.

Did anyone try the restricted disk and report yet? I want to share that I am very impressed by the effort of this tiny little disk, it had seriously shorten the learning curve of the brick, very much improved the experience from the OG. I combusted couple times in my OG brick at the beginning, and still not that easy to catch the line between big hit and combustion. This restricted disk have made that line much much thicker, i can very easy to get big hit without worrying to get combusted now:tup:

So im back. It does work when you find right heat setting. Downside is when you point the heat gun to glass intake [ i use bent intake . Get it if you have problems combusting works well] that because the heat gun does a smaller cone shape nozzel attachment but still heats up whats behind it. If your using the straight intake it may heat up wood n what ever surface you have it on. So all in all im back to butane just due to fact i dont have good enough space around brick and rather not burn house down =]

I would like to offer some thoughts on the SB OB....

I've had my OG for over 6 months. My biggest complaint which I don't see voiced here often .. is how quickly the screen get restrictive and what a pain it is to change screens. On my unit, the small ledge on which the screen rests has gotten so small that it will barely retain the screen. The screens are too large for the hole and have to be bent into a concave shape to be installed.

This is an issue that needs attention. I have also tried using a more course screen from the Dreamworks vapes. It provides better flow but really requires a delicate touch with the flame. Same issue with inserting a new one. I don't know why a metal ring cannot be installed to secure the screen better and that the diameter of the hole better match the diameter of the screen? I would not mind changing screens every few days if it were a simple process.

All this being said I do not think anyone that masters the right technique with an OG could ever find a more efficient and harder hitter. It depends on technique but when you nail it correctly I do not see how you can beat it for effectiveness.

My aggravation with screen changing led me to get the latest version of the Mighty. Just had it for a day. It's nice and consistent but cannot hit close to as hard as an OG. I have mentioned the screen change issue to SB and they don't seem very interested in modifying the units to address. It is possible that my OG is off as the hole leading to the screen is oblong but I assume they use standard drill press to make these?

Thoughts and opinions welcomed.....

Hi @WirtDog , I fix this screen changing problem by use other type of the screen. I use ultra fine screen from Vaponic,

and clean the screen every time when finished a bowl with brush and blow hard into the bowl and also blow from the bottom hole.
I got my OG brick about 6months and the screen still like new. Actually i changed all my butane convection vape to this screen, the bowl under the screen only got very tiny amount of kief and condensate.

The key is to clean the screen every time after use:tup:
