I dont understand the complaining about concentrates pooling in the peak. When I take a dab off of a quartz nail or my SiC and Sapphire Dnail dishes i always have pooling, Ive never taken a dab from any device or rig/banger where I take a dab and it is completely vaporized and there is nothing to wipe up afterwards unless it was way too hot.

If i take a dab, it tastes good and gets me medicated I dont care how much oil im wiping up in the nail after the dab. Maybe thats just me though

When I use my quartz insert and banger/torch, I rarely end up with pooling anywhere close to what I end up with in the peak which is why I hit sesh mode every hit, sure there is a little in my quartz insert but it always seems to be significantly more in my peak, maybe it is just more noticeable from the ceramic cup being white instead of clear, not sure. Either way though, I am still loving the peak and for its purpose of being a travel rig it is going to work just perfectly.

im just basing it off my experience... Does it look like there is less oil to be wiped up in my dnail and quartz bangers, Yes but there is also more surface area. and you also suck up some oil theough the neck of the banger depending on what carb cap youre using... Do I use more qtips to wipe up my peak and do the qtips look anymore dirty.... Nope...

Its more than a travel rig to me I use it when i get home and when im out doing things its just easier, gets me just as medicated if not more and I use less oil

Assuming youre using an XL banger, and are taking similar sized dabs that makes sense you have at least 2-3 times the amount of surface area for the dab to spread out on as opposed to a dish the size of a thimble so when the dab melts its obviously gonna look like there is less pooling because it is more spread out...

Yeah my banger is a 25 mm Halen Bucket so that could be it, but my quartz insert isn't much bigger than the ceramic cup... I just feel like my q tips are always more saturated than the banger option but still definitely loving the peak. Do you find yourself using sesh mode a lot? Just feel like I am wasting oil if I don't because I always get 2-3 more decent hits off sesh mode

I found that the quartz cup pools MUCH less and vaporizes the dab more fully due to the thermal properties. You can do a few things to get less "pooling" Take smaller dabs, or raise the temperature are the easiest ways to do so in the peak. But the way I do it is multiple session mode heats per dab. If I do a big dab and want it cool, I hit it on green, wait 10 seconds after it cuts off and do another double click so it does another full session mode, but with less heat up time since it's already warm. This does a little better job that simply extending the session by 10 seconds like clicking immediately does. Also sometimes I will ramp it up from green to red or white on the second session of a big dab.

Thanks for the tips, I will give that a shot.

I do use the boost every now and then, recently I have not been. I do like to wait a few seconds after the 3 beeps before i start inhaling I feel like it produces a bigger initial hit for me maybe that has something to do with it...

Mainly use green with the ceramic...
I started using a fadespace quartz insert for the past couple days and am actually enjoying it on blue have taken a few dabs and havent really noticed much chazzing...

Here’s what I’ve found. The truth is, the atomizer batches are different. Some are strong than others (I don’t know the scientific terms). I have one of those new sic inserts from fadespace. I questioned it because it wasn’t giving me clouds. Come to find out it only works well on an old version atomizer. The 4 atomizers I have all work slightly different with it. 2 of which are brand new. The new version seems to be much weaker. I love the Peak but the atomizer consistency is whack.

Welp guess I can stop thinking about getting the $100 sic insert. I have a sic torch nail that takes forever to heat up so this makes sense.
As far as the atomizers....could be that they are trying to fix the cracking problems from when they launched. Too much heat too fast will kill the ceramic element..

Guess the thin quartz insert is the way to go

I don’t get it. I’ve talked to a couple others who say they get consistent clouds on green. Not me. But if sic notoriously takes long to heat up then that makes sense.

The beauty of sic is that you still get tasty hits the whole way finishing a dab...ceramic is the worst for this imo.

My favorite insert is my full opaque dish from crystal star quartz. It vaporizes everything evenly and the amount of splatter has been reduced to virtually none.

I definitely get good clouds on green but I usually am on red doing slightly bigger sized dabs, but I am using the stock ceramic insert which is still pretty damn clean surprisingly after 20 or so dabs through it, about to do my first atomizers soak so lets hope that goes well

Has anybody else tried the sic from fadespace?? I'm curious to know what temp is the best for cloud production/flavors?? Is it easier to keep clean?

Steam clean it with a wet qtip, it's very easy to keep clean.

I get consistant clouds on green with multiple atomizers. I just got one of the newer atomizers with the notches in the top and i feel like it actually runs a little hotter than my previous atomizer... Ive only gone through 2 atomizers since i got my peak in march though.

Also just a heads up let the atomizer air dry do not rinse with water

if you want incredible flavor with your Peak get the Adapt Tech Sapphire Insert........best investment so far. Amazing vapor at low temps. On Blue I get amazing flavor and good vapor.

Have you found that different atomizers work differently with the sic insert? I have one that I don’t really use bc even when I use it on red I get tiny clouds compared to the opaque quartz insert I have. I have not tried white but don’t even really want to use the white setting. Any tips?

My Peak Mods:

Adapt Tech Sapphire Insert

Love the difference.

My Insert can go dry on Red btw, no residual to mop up.

Is it just one heat cycle for the sapphire insert? The only thing holding me back from getting one is I don’t want to have to run the heat up cycle multiple times to be able to dab.

It does work best in extended session mode.

Is there a place people order from in Canada for a good price? I see a couple places selling for cheaper then the rest but I also want to make sure its real and I get the item. I would be looking to order 2, one for me and one for a friend. I can order from the USA if the price is great but prefer to purchase in Canada. I never know when customs is going to add $$$. Cheers.

PlanetVape would be a good choice. Looks like they are out of stock at the moment tho...
