After some use I can say that the Go is definitely everything i hoped it would be. Hits just as well as my trusty old solo but with better air flow and all the tech advancements that Arizer has made over the years.

The WPA that was included from 420EDC was a real 'hit' right away with the housemates.

Only potential issue that i'm a little worried about is that when charging battery inside the vaporizer it seems to be stuck at 92%. i put both cells on my charger and one hit max charge and i started using it but the other cell never seemed to fully top off. Not sure if it's worth the hassle to send it back. will probably just buy another down the road.

Hey guys & gals! :)

Does anyone know about a retailer in the EU who carries the black ArGO stems? I know about 420edc and love them, but it would be much easier in terms of transportation costs and customs if one could get them in the EU. Any hint is highly appreciated!

Wait. Wait. For the ArGo? I saw black stems for the Air/Solo there, but not for the ArGo... Do have a link for me? Thanks a lot in advance!

What temps are people vaping the argo at and anyone got any recommendations for a waterpipe attachment that is available in the UK? Cheers

I am sooooooo close to an ArGo. Been waiting for the Fierce but.... can't wait much longer.

May need to buy both.

One of the reasons I have held off on an ArGo was all the comments about the glass mouthpiece getting 'uncomfortably' warm.

I'm a big hitter so suffice to say, mine would be "hot". LOL

However, with me just discovering the extended length mouthpieces...... I am chomping at the bit.

The price everywhere is the same $202.

Any discounts or coupons to further encourage me?

As always, thank you.

I just received mine today, The first thing i did was pack the bowl and crack out a close to 10 min sesh and it was like eating ice cream compared to my pax 3.

I have no complaints about the heat. I am going to sell my pax.

I am also gonna get the bong attachment for extra coolness.

the only part that gets pretty hot is the side of the unit with the heater on it. it's easy to use your fingers on the other side and not have to deal with that. the mouth piece hasn't been hot for me.

the waterpipe adapter has been great for home use. I hook it up to a foot tall bubbler and can get some pretty big clouds from it, but it turn it up to 410-428 for that. when traveling i go at cooler temps and the battery lasts longer that way.

I bought the Efest 2-cell charger since mine came with an extra battery and it's been perfect for having no down time from dead batteries. i'll get close to using up one during the day, then i have one charged and ready for when i come home and can charge the low battery while using the fresh one.

Hi, this is my first post on FC. I hope this is the right place for it. I’m a total newbie and have asthma and I’m thinking of getting the Argo. I’ll use it for middle-of-the-night insomnia. I tried about .1g of cbd-rich hemp flower in a bong and it helped but obviously smoking is not a long-term solution. I’m hoping the Argo will give me the same effect as the bong. Nobody I know has a vaporizer and I’ve never tried one so I have some questions.

I like the glass air path, removable battery, easy cleaning, WPA compatibility and the company sounds solid. However, I’ve seen using the Argo compared to trying to suck a thick milkshake through a straw. Is that an Argo thing or is that just how vaporizers work compared to smoking?

Is it true that using a water piece makes it easier to draw from?

I’ve also heard it’s somewhat light on the amount of vapor it puts out. Is that just an aesthetic consideration or does more visible vapor give you a stronger effect?

Can I use a WPA in place of the stock stem for direct draw? Does it cool the vapor down more than the stock stem? I'm guessing I'll mostly be using a water piece so if I don't need to buy an extended stem that would be good.

Can you recommend an inexpensive water piece that’s stable and very easy to clean? Nothing fancy needed.

Any must-have accessories that aren’t included?

Recommended vendors?

Hope that's not too many questions. Thanks for any advice you can give me. :)

I'd say using a WPA does make it easier to draw from and i get some nice big clouds from a basic 1' bubbler when taking long slow draws. There's a technique to taking draws from arizer products, when it comes to their normal stems. I get nice big hits from them, and i explain to new people my technique, but they still have trouble getting good hits. Most people aren't patient enough to take long, slow draws and just end up taking a little 5 second baby hit.

The air resistance has been improved from my old Solo, but it's still there. It's not too bad but it's function is to help the oven keep up and give you the most vapor for your draw. the key is to pace yourself and be patient as you take your hit, don't force it like with combustion.

You could just use the WPA as a normal stem and it would be theoretically more smooth but not by much in the real world. better off getting the bubbler stem for travel, and using the WPA at home with a bong or bubbler.

If you buy from 420EDC [definitely get one from them because of the added accessories], I'd recommend a charger because they give you an extra battery, so you can charge one while using another.

I use a pretty generic water pipe

Had some folks over after my wife's baby shower. I snuck away to the garage with a buddy, and found the Argo, a mini bubbler, and a 14 mil attachment on my work bench.

Quick to load, easy to use, great flavor and clouds, what a nice session vape :)

Long of the short of it is that Argo made Uber a few dollars!

Thanks Lag for the info and especially for explaining about the Arizer technique and the reason for it. That's really helpful.

The 420EDC deal looks really good. Is there a consensus about which chargers are good? How much does the bubbler stem cool and humidify the vapor on the Argo?

On a different subject, your image doesn't display on my screen. I've noticed that with some images on FC and not on others. Do you know if this is a common issue? I'm using Firefox on a mac and I've turned off my ad blocker and made sure image loading is enabled.

Hi Brewervapesalot. What's your technique for getting clouds from the Argo? Oh, and congrats on the upcoming addition to your family. :)

As I understand it it's a function of the host server used. Lately Imjur changed how it processes requests and they no longer appear automatically. You can either put the direct link into a new window or simply hit 'reply'. The editor will load the photo, and of course you need not reply.

I get it. From their POV every time some Member looks at any post on the page the link appears, the server requested another copy. For free........

Hi Brewervapesalot. What's your technique for getting clouds from the Argo?

I'm not he but the technique is common across almost all vapes. Go slow. Unlike blazing, where sucking harder draws more into the fire generating more heat to make more vapor, the maximum rate ArGo can evaporate THC is fixed by the rate heat energy can be transferred in through the walls. If you're consuming less, either because it's at idle or you're sipping, the 'excess' just condenses in the load again. Drawing in more cold air by hitting too hard does two things: It 'robs' heat that would otherwise make more vapor, and it dilutes what vapor there is with extra air.......neither of which you really want?

There are exceptions like real convection vapes like VG, T1, Evolution or Cera, but ArGo is not in that class.

To "milk that glass" the show offs in the videos sip very slowly taking a minute or large fraction to fill their WTs. Try sipping, the vapor will be lower in volume but much more dense in exchange.

Enjoy your ArGo, great choice you know.

Regards to all.

Hi OF. Thanks for your explanation, that helps a lot. I'll have to develop some patience. :)

Is VG vaporgenie? The Volta looks interesting.
Which one is the Evolution?

You can either put the direct link into a new window or simply hit 'reply'.

When I put the link in a new window, it sent me to the Google log-in page but I don't have a Google account. :(

Yer welcome, glad to help when I can......as are a lot of other folks around here. By all means experiment but expect the most dense vapor by not pushing vapor production. Not like blazing, skills learned there are not useful here.

Yes. My favorite is the big Bronze one. I didn't like Volta, it's not really the same sort of vape. Nice, but not the same, I gave it away to a friend who thought it was neat. VGs allow you to control heat input (flame) as you hit so with some skill you can really crank it up. Similar vapes, like say VM (VapMan) that you cut the fire then hit are different. IMO everyone should eventually have a VG, MFLB, VM, Solo/Air/ArGo and a compact conduction vape like F2 or one of the FMs. Or just find one that 'fits your pistol' and kick back?

Some/most also want a serious desktop. I'm not one of them..... IMO it's kinda cheating?

Evolution is a compact true convection vape no longer made by ThermoVape. Harder to 'drive' than their other products, but capable of some astounding performance in skilled hands. All the TV herb vape used 'thermal cores' that are heated to about 1200C over half a minute or so (using a LOT of power). Air drawn through the core gets super heated to ABOVE vaping temperature so drawing more air (within reason) only brings yet more heat making yet more vapor. Like blazing. The harder you hit it, the harder it hits back.

Enjoy your ArGo, it's a good choice to 'cut your teeth on'. Very forgiving and able to perform through an assortment of techniques. No 'right way'?

OF

Edit: Another tip for your consideration. Since it's conduction, heat is depleted from the system that must be replaced. This means 'heat soaks' (pausing between hits) can pay big benefits. By all means test it. Give it time to 'reset'. Even up to a minute? Find what best supports your technique.

A few questions, but first, there is a great sale going on at 420edc.com called their "Summer Sizzler Sale" where for $202 you can get an ArGo, an EXTRA panasonic 18650 battery, a choice of a grinder between a mini Mendo Mulcher 2 piece grinder and some other grinder, an EXTRA glass mouthpiece whether you want it to be a regular sized glass mouthpiece or an extended glass mouth piece (you also have the option to choose between a 2-tone mouthpiece or a clear one), a water pipe adapter, AND the choice of a small or medium size 420edc case in a variety of colors. Seems like too good of a deal to pass up. Although I don't know anything about 420edc for customer service and how they do when it comes to handling warrantys, etc. Has anyone ever used 420edc.com for purchases before?

Any of you have an idea of what an ArGo Black Friday sale might look like? To me, that sale on 420edc seems very Black Friday like.

package came in the mail. 420 EDC really does have the best deal out there for these things right now. such a huge bundle of extra stuff!

now the wait for the batteries to charge...

OK, so how quality is the case? Does it keep smells out?
