I gave my CF to a friend whose trying to be more stealth with her medicating. Smell reduction is her biggest goal. She emailed me last night and said it was amazing.

Another vape convert.

So my CFX has arrived and is on a charge. Do you guys recommend fully charging and discharging after burning off while using for a first session to help maintain battery life?

Bit pissed off that I've been given a fast charger with no UK adapter, which means my fast charger is useless. This seems to be a supplier thing rather than a retailer as this seems a common issue.

Can @Boundless Vape Technology advise if I can use a general plug adapter (China to UK...which I am going to have to buy) in conjunction with the existing fast charger?

I collect power packs from all the electronic devices over the years and had a couple that will run my fast charge port, maybe you might have something tucked away that is 12v that would work. I even use the 12v out port on my portable jump starter (it came with a heap of different adaptors for laptops etc) to quick charge my CFX.

Oh, I wouldn`t discharge the battery fully ever if possible

It is optional, we still have a few units that have the tank included. The only problem is that we do not carry spare coils or parts for the tank although the Smiss Sub-Flipper Tanks use the same replacement coils. Let me know if you have any questions: Eric@bndlstech.com
Thanks for the question.

We plan on showing some renderings of two new units this evening. Hope you guys can join, a recording will be available for those who can't make it. Thanks everyone!

Hi, new here. I'm looking to purchase the cf. How do you take the cf apart to replace the coil? Same q for the screens.

Thanks.

Welcome to the forum @charliez, no coil in the CF, it uses a ceramic oven for dry herb and a s/s tank that is placed in the oven for concentrates. The screens will come out with a poker/pick and can be soaked in Iso to clean. There are also some good mods back in the thread that can make living with the unit easier, well woth a read when you get time. I have a CF/x and am quite pleased with it, the CF is pretty similar and is also well liked:tup:

One of he best suppliers to the USA, if you live elsewhere, not so much, they wanted US$25 postage to send me a grinder teflon slip ring)
Australia is Very expensive to ship too/from for sure. Iv'e bought motorcycle parts and shipped them there too and its, just, well, ridiculous! I know its a long way but....

I just picked up the CFX and really like it. I also have the Mighty and while that Vape is awesome in it's own right, I do not use it much anymore due to the fast temp of the CFX. One thing I do dislike with the CFX is the scree at the bottom of the cooking chamber. I allows fine flower to get down into the heat exchanger area which you cannot clean unless you take the unit apart. I was think about using these little stainless baskets I found on Amazon but they are only 1/2 deep which may work (trying tomorrow) but I may need longer ones if I can find them.

WHOA!!! Thanks man!
No worries!!!

WHOA!!! Thanks man!
There USED to be a video which was a better explanation of the process. The one thing you will have to do is to, slightly squish the basket for length. Its a wee bit long. Troy, for 420vapezone on video now no longer existent-thanks YouTube- shows how he uses hid fingernail to slightly dent the base of the bottom basket. This allows just a bit of shortening of the basket so it fits. I think, also, you can just put it in there and kinda squish it with the mouthpiece as you put it on. Great, great mods that improve airflow, allow reclaim of oils from top MP screen, and loaded elb's can be packed for on the go! I use a small Altoids tin to carry about a half dozen. Easy- Peezy on the go refills!!!

I have 4 bookmarks showing the screen and basket mods. I have no issue with the draw but the Migfhty is better so I may do the mouth piece small basket and flat screen (to collect the honey) hack as well as buy a couple or three of the longer basket packs of 2.

@SpudBob I want to thank you for the great tip you gave me.!!!

I found the following out in case any cares. The aluminum heat ex-changer screw is AW-6060 Aluminum. Aair passes over it as it is in the air path but seems like pretty good aluminum that will not off gas at temps a vaporizer uses.

No worries. Thats what makes me tick! Hope you love your CFX like I do. Also had an issue after over a year with mine (Battery would not hold a charge) and called Puffitup. Had a replacement in my hands in less than a week. Also free to/from shipping on their dime! Thats great CS Randy!!!

I use all of the Boundless Vapes and find them fast to heat up, and easy to use.
I was gifted a new Boundless CFX a couple of months ago.... still in shrink wrap, so I
gave my daily CFX to a patient for her to have a spare unit at her home.
I used my new one for a few days, then I put it up for about a week.
Last night I decided it was time to use it for a few days again, but there was issue.
The battery was completely dead in spite of the fact that it had been charged to full before being put away, so I charged it to full again.
It had lost it's memory, and reverted back to Centigrade.
As it began to heat up, I switched it to Farenheit.
That went fine, but when the numbers passed my usual setting (377º F), I tried to push the temp down button.
The unit shut down. I tried repeatedly with the same result.
When you attempt to lower or raise the heat setting, the units digits turn red, the screen blurs, and the unit shuts off.
I let the unit keep rising in heat, and it went all the way to 600, and the herb began to combust, so I shut it down.
I have already written to @Boundless Vape Technology about this, and am certain they will answer soon.
I wondered if any of you that use the CFX have seen this behavior in the past.
If so, how did you resolve, or fix the issue?
Suggestions would be useful.

Eric has gotten back with me, as has "Carolina".
They had me send them a video of unit's function (or malfunction), and sent me an RMA form to print.... fill out... and scan back to them.
Now I wait to hear back from them on "next step".

Yeah, great for people like me that are computer illiterate! I can't print, don't know how to send videos and I sure as shit don't know how to scan something (except the countryside looking for game)

I am not going to use the Boundless CFX any longer for a few reasons:

1. Flower goes harsh tasting and hot too quick (3 or 4 draws)
2. Draw is not adequate but I did a few mods to make it better but I think that is causing the harshness
3. I tried a Mighty!!

As you can tell from #3, I tried a S&B Mighty and got hooked. So this morning at 7am I was chatting with a puffitup.com rep online asking all kinds of questions. I ordered the Mighty and FWIW, I found I was chatting with Randy the owner of puffitup.com. Very cool guy and very helpful!!

What to do with the boundless now??
