Vapman

A question for the "Station veterans".

I really love the Vapman and know it will stay in rotation, it's a connaiseur experience for me. The only thing I need to be careful with is how many draws I take. Even with the concentrate screen I must finish the load in two sessions or else the effects are a bit too overwhelming.

I read that the Vapman hits even harder with the Station and therefore thought that the Station was never a option for me, but today I read the following:

And don't overpack, the station works best and quick with a loose load!

The question for the veterans: does the above mean that I can use less material and still get the connaiseur experience? In other words, is the Station better suited for microdosing than using the Vapman with a lighter?

Interresting question!
I fill the pan the same way, whether I use the station or the lighter. But it's quite noticable, that with the station I need less pans, till I'm in an..... extremely relaxation modus. :D

I see the difference station vs. lighter in the accuracy of the station heating process, which is all the time the same on the same level. With the jet I have a less precise heating, mostly depending on my current condition under the influence of wellness-flowers. ;)

But other users will have surely other experiences. I'm all the times very pleased, when I can read/see here in the forum, that nearly every Vm-user has his own technic of using the vapman. Indeed it gives a lot of possibilities to run the vapman.

So, I see @vapman 's recommendation not to overfill generally as a good advice, whatever the prefered vape-culture with the vapman may be.

Wellnes-flowers, good name! :D
If the Station heats more precisely, then I guess it's also a bit easier to reach the desired effect. Your post helped me to make the decision to safe money for a Station, thanks for the insightful post!

If anyone's interested in buying a second-hand Station: there's a blue one for sale in the classified section.

Is vaporstore a reliable seller of this product?

https://www.vaporstore.com/proddetail.php?prod=vapman-basic

I've never ordered from them. Any advice? I'm in the USA and wildw rather avoid ordering from eu

I'm US based too-
Not familiar with this site, but when I got mine I ordered from Toronto Vaporizer in Canada (at the time only place I could find at the time that was not EU.) I was very happy with my shopping experience with them. Unaware if they still carry the Vapman, and this was prior to the station even being a prototype.

That said, I have also ordered directly from the vapman site, and had stellar service (Accessories I could not find elsewhere-) And I will be getting a Station at some point.

Whoever buys this station, I would be willing to exchange this one for a new black one. All I would ask for is to take over the shipping costs.

vapman

As @Dynavaper mentioned, that's so generous! I'm hoping that I still make a chance to obtain the Station. The only thing that holded me back to buy it was the blue color.

Update: If I transfer money then I'm the happy owner of the blue Station :D:clap::love:And I'll make my wife happier if the blue one will be exchanged for the black one.

@Dynavaper and @vapman a big thank you for the kind offers. Your gestures make the world a more joyful and better place

Hey, @Dutch-Mic: You are located in the NL, right? I like your posts here and I have one spare Station (black one) that I keep as a backup and don't need for everyday use. I would lend it to you for, let's say 4-8 weeks. You could then evaluate it before spending big money on an unknown device and simply send it back to me at the end of the period. There's not much that could break, so I am not too afraid that something could go wrong. Contact me via PM if you are interested!

Incl. the new one which you have let deliver to me? ;)

I get no real vapor with it w/o getting too harsh but its efx w/o or nearly unvisible vapor is impressive. I guess it's one of the hardest hitting vapes with the least of smell production. As I said before, not really discreet in appearance but the right device for use in public (hidden) w/o any notable smell.

I just got my vapman delivered and I've got to be honest, the first 5 bowls blew me away. I seriously love this vape already

Outstanding! That didn't take long. Some/most have to fiddle around to 'get in tune' with the little fellow.....it can be a tough time for some who seem to bring 'bad' ideas to the party. Other things in life can be like that, too. Expectations can be an enemy for sure.

With VM I'd say the number one problem for newbies is being too shy with the heat? While understandable (of course) you need to learn what sort of controls you have, and what their limits are. Even it it means courting combustion a time or to. While unpleasant, it's not fatal (or really damaging to the VM) and it's sure a lesson most don't need more than once. But sometimes best performance is right up against that line, it's important to know where it is.

Sadly, I understand there are even a few poor souls who don't catch on (some would say 'give up too early'). Tragic, really, you know. The miss out on a lot.

Welcome to the group, good folks around most everywhere you look.

Regards to all,

I already posted this in the Vapcap thread, but it's probably better suited here.
I would really love to have a technical explanation for the phenomenon of the Vapman hitting so much harder than other vapes:

Can somebody explain to me why, technically, the Vapman hits me so much harder than the Vapcap, given they are both comparable in the way they produce the vapor? I can have 3 Vapcaps in a row, but it will never take me to the same state of body stone and mind high that the Vapman delivers. Why? Does anyone have a scientific explanation for that? My Vapcaps have been laying around for one week since I rediscovered my Vapmen. They (the Vapcaps) are more convenient on the go, easier to load, but the hit is not comparable...
:hmm:

One word: pytho-inhalation! :cool::D

But honestly, don't really know the secret but have to agree with you, the vapman seems more potent with similar herb usage. It's such a lovely vape.

This completely replaced my vapcap for around the house portable use.

In fact almost all my Vapes have been gathering dust since this arrived.

After watching some reviews and reading the best of thread I felt confident using it right away. It wasnt hard to learn at all and I feel like I've perfected it already.

Anyone have any unique carrying options for their unit? The egg is cool and I'm sure I could modify it to make it not rattle but I'm also someone that likes handmade products and stuff.

Not unique (but what is?), but useful? I use a small camera case (sorry about the link rather than phots, Imgur changed the rules since it seems they had to download photos every time someone loaded the page they appear on.....who can blame them, really?), here's the link to the case:

Inside is the VM 'broken down', lighter and stash:

In the lid are the loading ring, concentrate screens, concentrate and toothpicks to load it with for when that mood strikes:

Offers better protection and fits better in the pocket.
