Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

I believe the e-pick is the perfect tool for that
Yep, works a charm. ;)
It does. However, you can "train" your ELBs to move in and out of your bamboo easier. I just used an 18mm vapor hose adapter, a little lube like olive oil for example, and ran the ELB in and out, many times, to make it work more easily. ELB's are both malleable and ductile so you can "train" them for a better fit, you just don't want to use your precious bamboo to do the job.

Thanks for the tips @JCat and @t-dub . I'll be adding the e-pick to my arsenal and/or lubin up my ELBs.
If you use olive oil make sure to clean your ELB very well when you are done. Water also makes a good lube if needed as well. Each ELB is a little different. Most of mine did not require any lube at all only 2 out of like 24 needed some help so try training them dry first.

You will need a male 18.8mm vapor hose adapter, or something to mimic the joint on your EVO, lots of folks sell them.

I'm still working on training these damn ELBs. Fortunately they're slowly loosening up. Haven't tried any lube just yet. Cleaning the Evo's male joint def made an improvement though. Resin really makes the ELB tight when the joints cold.

Since my Evo purchase, I've been recommended several different tools. I'm wondering what other tools (herb, dab, cleaning, etc) everyone is using with their Evo's. I know i use my old Mighty brush quite alot to clean these ELBs. I've been recommended the Pax tool and now the e-pick. Any others I need to consider?

Dope signature btw @t-dub.

My favorite tool that I invented to use with my EVO is my EZ-Loader. Its just a vapor hose adapter connected to a short piece of tubing with a mouthpiece on the other end. This way you put your ELB into the adapter, grind your medicine, then suck it right into your ELB. This way your medicine doesn't get packed too tightly and you can load very easily the amount you wish.

@Stu showed me a loading tool, like a SS spatulla for pills, can you please post the link or name again?? and tag @withoutbliss
I have a couple of them, the tip fits perfectly an ELB, acts like a funnel too, and cheap, I use them everyday to load, scrap, stir, unload, etc etc for many vapes...

@withoutbliss tagged so ZC doesn't yell at me. :p

I love that thing. Use it everyday in fact. Pro tip: use the blunted end to scoop/load herb.

:peace:

I’m trying to sort through my vapes to determine what I can afford to sell off to make funds available for my Nomad purchase and I have been considering parting with my Evo. I just don’t use it as much with my woodscent and vapcaps. I had lent it to a roommate who apparently routinely pushed it to combustion nd let it get so filthy he couldn’t separate it from the glass adapter I had set up to connect to a whip, that kinda put a bad taste in my mouth about it, but I had forgot that I spent quite a bit of time deep cleaning it to make it spotless again and it was worth it! I forgot just how great a clean evo can perform!

Although I’m not using my EVO a lot these days, it’s a definite keeper! It will find it way back into my regular lineup at some point I’m sure :)

I'm the same. My EVO is sitting in my closet right now, and has been ever since I got my Flowerpot. But don't think I'll ever bring myself to sell the EVO.

Might have to bust out the EVO in a few months to remind myself how great it can be with flower.

It falls flat with concentrates imo, compared to the FP or an enail/banger at least.

But the EVO was the first vape that really showed me the potential on vaporizers. I had been vaping for a while prior to the EVO, but it really took it to a new level for me!

DIY FTW @t-dub.

Thanks for the link @Stu. Awesome suggestion @Zangano Cruel. Looks like a universal tool. Could be handy in more than just a vaping scenario.

No problem man.
Thanks to @Stu he pointed me that tool years ago. It comes very handy. The smallest tip fits mostly all portables and desktops vaporizers. Easy to clean. Lifetime durability perhaps...
I bought several, since they are cheap, save in mailing and you'll have extras for best and worst scenarios, and you can gift them to fellow vapers ;)
Stay vaped...

Fav tool for EVO is the New Vape Pax Loading tool - best scoop ever IMO and fits right in the throat of an ELB

I woke up last night as usual to walk the dog and take some rips from my EVO. To my dismay I found it was dead. The glass tube melted just below the top of the EVO. I suppose a sensor died and the heater overran? Not sure. This EVO was one from the crowd source deal that was offered to OG Cloud owners. Good news was when I pulled out the OG Cloud it worked like a charm. The thing is a tank.

Bummed it broke but it gave so many good memories I can't be mad. Maybe I'll contact Vapexhale and see if they can repair it.

VapeXhale to @mscm888 . . . :)

Edit: I say this not as a rep of VXL but because I know the design, the probable failure point, and that the modular design lends itself to repair of this issue, which is rare, but has been seen before. It just depends on how much inside the case needs to be replaced. Cost of repairing vs buying new if you are out of warranty will be the analysis. Also, if you have a limited edition Vectra case you might want to repair that as they are rare. Still loving mine.

Thanks, T-Dub

I contacted VXL and they gave me a warranty claim. My dead EVO was sent to VXL yesterday with a delivery scheduled for tomorrow. I'll update everyone with how it turns out.

In the meantime my OG Cloud is holding it down. It seems to have more airflow so provides a slightly different experience.

Good times.
