Yeah got that update, still no reply on my order emails tho. Can't order through the website as I'm international. A reply to my order would be best. If I need to keep sending requests through on the off chance they get seen then that's a bit crap. If he needs the business then I need one of those pay pal links to complete the purchase. Still rocking my 1.5 but would like a v2 as well

I placed an Mi2 order on the first day, and had a USPS tracking number two days ago.
Good, solid communication every step of the way. Amidst, it sounds like, a professional and personal minefield.

Also ordered on the first day and received an email a couple days ago asking if I wanted standard or exotic cap. I imagine it will be shipping out in the next few days. Personally have not had any problem communicating with Ryan by email.
Here is hoping he can stay afloat and reap the rewards of his efforts.

Got my Mi2 today upon returning from a brief trip out of town. Killer beautiful. While I’ve driven my Mi1.5 daily since I got it, and have never given a thought to how it looks (that is, it’s not bad to look at), the 2 is a stunner. My 1.5 is maple and has some heft to it. My 2 is walnut with a beautiful cap. It’s lighter and feels wonderful in the hand. And a feast to the eyes.
Came with a couple of thick clear stems and top hat screens (not with the rims). As I was on the run I didn’t have time to set things up the way I like them. I just quick swapped out the bat in my 1.5, pinched a smallish amount into the new screen and gave a pull. It’s gonna be nice. I feel a bit bad ‘cause no way the 2 doesn’t unseat my 1.5 as my go to, which has been a life changer for me. Looking like now the 1.5 will be designated as my backup. Dang, just to say my daily driver is now my back up is saying something.
Gotta give it some runs to make sure it’ll be holding up but my first couple of goes have been good ones.
My 1.5 is pre-pick while my 2 came with a beautiful rbt pick in place. Love the look of the pick but I’m not a pick person. I love the ease of use of the Mi. Having to deal with the extra piece complicates issues for me and takes away from the simplicity that makes the Mi such a great convenient vape. I’ve always kept my bats in the unit while storing the Mi cafefully between sessions. I’m thinking I’ll pull the pick off tomorrow when I get a chance. I’ll have to look into the rimmed baskets too as I’m guessing I’ll go with them or with some version of a screen seated inside the stem to avoid scratching the glass. Still gotta check the stem’s fit a little better to see how things are working in that area but my brief initial run says: more beautiful (far), more comfortable to hold (significantly) and so far that wonderful Mi signature performance. I’m excited.

So here's my new baby. Pick removed. Didn't get a shot of me holding it but it's a great feel. Not necessarily intuitive that the more squared edges would feel better than the rounded back of the 1.5 but they do.
Looking down. The mesh screen on my 1.5 seems to be flatter but I'm guessing that that's a variable aspect of the build process.
One of two clear short stems I got with my purchase. Thicker glass in the stem part than the short stems I got with my 1.5.
The stems to my 1.5 fit perfectly into the Mi 2 joint with clearance at the bottom of the chamber.
I threw one of the screens that came with my package into one of the stems to give things a quick initial survey. The screen sat well in the stem, but the stem didn't sit all that well into the joint since the edges of the screen touch the inside of the joint higher up than the stem wants to sit naturally.
I included a shot of leaf in the bowl after a couple of moderate, careful draws. Looks pretty even to me. And tasted really nice. I?d like to say better than my 1.5 but that will take some testing to determine

So far I'm an extremely happy customer. The Mi 2 is a more refined vape than the 1.5, as one would expect. RBT's done good work. So far my heater is performing superior to v. 1.5. Hotter, so quicker to the goods. Still getting nice evenly roasted material. It feels like I’m getting a more balanced flow of heat. Which means more predictable hits.
The air intake is on the button side where your hand grips. Covered it absentmindedly a little while ago and wondered why’d I pack the stem so hard?

Based on @cheeseholidays intial reaction I think not using it and getting a refund may be a better option. Seems mass produced plastic vapes may be more to his liking.

I was going to see if a return was a possibility, but so far no response from RBT.
To be fair, fit/finish is a total pet peeve of mine. It’s not like egregiously bad or anything. Enough to bum me out though. It doesn’t help that I had zero need for another vape, and my excitement had dwindled to the point I was kind of lukewarm on it before it was even delivered.
The only people getting a pass on plastic at this point is S&B, and even then I’d prefer they refresh their line and use nicer materials.

Gosh darnit, what a bummer to hear my hopes of the Mi2 dwindle. In my present line of work, just not splurgeable ATM. 
I have so many already (Crafty, Solo, 3x vapcaps w induction heater, Flowerpot, Woodscents, Muse, Mighty, Volcano-by-proxy, and plenty of quartz bangers and a 20mm 3.0 Liger) that the artisinal vapes are all I really WANT but can only barely articulate a need for one. Alas.
RBT please consider staying out there until my financials improve it would be a bummer to lose some of the most interesting designs and products out there.
