Hi friends, I am new to FC and the world of marijuana for two reasons medically and creatively. I use it for my stress and anxiety and also it is good for writing good essays.
I smoke in joint never used a vaporizer but I want to try it since it is healthier because of what I read in previous pages of this forum.
My problem is the temperatures I have reflux problems and for that reason I have a sensitive throat and esophagus. For example when I smoke a joint the first puffs that are cooler there are no problems in my throat but as the joint advances to the middle or near the end it is very hot and irritating to my throat and esophagus, I really detest that feeling.
For that reason I am thinking of a vaporizer as the herborizer ti that you in the previous pages have put it as superior to the XL version for being weed saving and giving faster hight. But I do not choose which body of herborizer it suits me best for me, what I'm looking for is a soft vapor that does not irritate the throat and that is not very hot and aggressive with my throat. Currently I saw on the page of herborizer the tube ti and the bubbler ti or a sphere, then which would be better for me.
By the way the last time I smoked was a year ago I never liked tobacco

Hello and very warm welcome indeed. I think you are certainly focusing in the right direction of vaporizing and the Herborizer is a great place to start. I wont try and talk you out of it, Sebastien would not be impressed!

One point- I would not class the Ti as "weed saving" in contrast to the XL. The Ti can deliver full extraction quickly, with large full hits from very small, or any sized loads. So there is no necessity for large loads every time just to make some clouds.

But it would take some disclipline not to consume more weed with the Ti, because it is lije a faster car. You drive gently but get there so fast with time to spare, it can be hard to hang up the keys when driving so fast is that fun and easy.

While the XL always worked better for me with bigger loads, like 0.3 upwards. But I could not tolerate the higher temps which some can and that does make it possible for big clouds from smaller loads.

Kind of besides the point anyway, I do think the Ti is the best model for you. Did you see we ate currently awaiting release of the digital version? It is overdue, we have no idea if it will be 1 week or 3 months. Damn it Im gonna have to email Seb again he's killing me!!

Regarding your throat sensitivity, firstly let me emphasize how much hotter and harsher smoking will always be over vaporising any day. I personally have not smoked weed since 2008, no tobacco with weed since 2006, so just neat bongs in those years.

But I could not take even one single bong hit without suffering and recovering for over a week. Vaporizing is so much better here, but it can cause irritation still which is not technically damaging like smoke more of a temporary symptoms that some people will experience at times with certain vaporizers, rigs, techniques or material, and which can vary hugely from vaporizer to vaporizer, water piece to water piece etc.

I originally bought my herborizer Ti with the small bubbler package last year and initially I found that very small slitted mouthpiece on the bubbler to be particularly aggravating to my throat area. However I could not tolerate the vaporizer at the time and I sold it soon afterwards, later on last year I was able to tolerate it much much better after making some good progress at lowering chronic respiratory infections so this could have been a factor when I tried the small bubbler.

However keep that in mind because I definitely found it to be almost concentrating the irritation on my throat area, and this was relieved a lot by using a different bubbler at the time.

I do not plan to buy any of the herborizer bodies myself with my digital. I have a few different glass bubblers from China currently. My favourite at the moment and which is by far the best for making the vapor smoother, more tolerable and less irritating to the throat and lungs...is the
FC-186 bubbler.

Also very good, minimal drag, fairly smooth with a good inner can volume for cooling.
So I would look at your options for glass pieces. You could get the Tube, or just get the system and a cheaper bubbler from elsewhere.
Ideally you would want a variety of glass pieces to rotate. You would find subtle differences in them that make one more appreciated at one time, and another on a different day.

You may find one piece is a lot smoother, or settle on a favorite for any other reason.
The sphere is not a bad choice either. I have this with the XL. It is actually very smooth, and it can hold a large water level too which makes the vapor much cooler if you wish.

Well I'm not sure how much help that will be but there is something to go on. Have fun making your decision and definitely make sure to keep us posted on things from here, I look forward to hopefully hearing about a very positive introduction into the world of cannabis vaporizing.

Thanks Alexis for helping, Maybe I bought the system and bought the fc-186 bubbler that you recommend it looks good and is at 10% discount in the store and note that it has two percolator that is good means better filtering and so so much less irritating to the throat and the esophagus.
I will continue to save money to buy them and I have half the money I will take some time to get the money, I look forward to my herborizer and join the healthiest experience of the vaporizers and fuck the combustion.
By the way Alexis as you feel the experience herborizer ti in your fc-186 at low temperatures like 4.5 (180ºC) is smooth without irritation or very little.

When you filter more the flavours gone a bit and if you lower temp you adjust the effect of the meds. So its tricky if you wanted say a hard indica you need heat but its going to cause irritation. Not the case with a sativa you can lower temp and filter more if its a tasty smelly strain. Really this is why flower should be made into oil much less irritating smoother and cleaner.


Coughing for 2 yrs changed my pelvic region muscles either from a coughing hernia or just plain contractions but now when i cough its bulging like a overworked six pack! And this on top of the teeth irritation really annoys me. So even with the cleanest vape about theres irritation in vapor because its just not a natural thing to do.

Okay guys I have a little unofficial update. Im sure Seb wont mind me sharing this:

Everything was ready on my side, but our glass seal supplier has changed the inside diameter of the 18.8mm joint by a few tenths of a millimeter, which slows down the marketing
I'm waiting for our new custom-made seals, now I have to wait until September."

And he is going to send me the very first one ahead of release!! Already paid for except he asked me not to discuss price yet until the official release in case there are any last minute changes.

Except now I no idea whether I will be receiving it next week or in several weeks as he sent me this message after I ordered three days ago:

I'm bored because since this weekend we had a lot of orders, I do not know why, but it's summer ... and most people are on vacation
We are currently out of stock for the Bubbler, we only have the Sphere for the moment.

Do you want to wait 15/20 days for the Bubbler body?

I said I would wait for the bubbler, but I wasn't sure if he meant he would ship my order now and send a bubbler later but there has been no movement this week so I guess I will be waiting until it comes into stock, by which time release should be just around the corner anyway which takes a little pressure of my shoulders getting the early word out now because I'm not really that good at these sort of things to be completely honest with you.

Not like you proper vaporizer pros anyway.

Guys guess what? I gave up on my typical OCD checking my order status on the Herbo site. It looked like Seb was gonna wait for the bubbler in stock in a few weeks to ship my digital
(ahem, #1 btw ).

Each time I checked (every 8 minutes lol) it said in bright orange: "en course de preparation".
I did consider asking Seb to ship it now and send me a separate invoice to ship the bubbler separately later on.

But didnt want to spend any extra, so I finally accepted I will have to wait several weeks and even closed the tab, like switching off the life support machine haha.

But just now for the sheer hell of it I thought heck let's have a look to confirm we still have the Orange preparation status....

Haha you know me just kidding around. And the moaning was only pretend anyway, sort of, to pass the time and to see from different perspectives.

Always life is pros and cons, so many different angles and ways to see things in a philosophical sense. So I guess it is partly a coping mechanism of mine to constantly realign my sights and focus on different pros and cons, to see the various sides of a situation and accept all eventualities for their good and their bad if that makes a little sense.

So my advice to my friends is to not always take me too literally for I am far from straightforward.

Thanks man, currently under brollies with on and off showers. A little changeable now, heatwave passed but by Thursday hopefully in the clear again. We're practically THERE just edging higher and higher, literally. Solid baking sun for weeks we have been blessed in UK.


Well guys, I must say Im a bit daunted aboit this sudden pressure on my shoulders! You will have to be patient with me and lower your expectations, Im in ravaged condition still until I can get serious rest and revovery soon. I GLADLY assume the role and accept the golden priviledge, just not very capable at present. I have also had to move out of my bedroom temporarily to use it for another purpose.

So everything is all over the place and establishing order and routine is difficult in my current state. I will do my best of course to satisfy the crowds but Im not pro like you guys here.

So much of my attention, thought and critique has to go to my tolerances and varying reactions etc. This makes me far less useful in this regard but I'm hoping above all that I can still find ways to tolerate the ti very comfortably as I did at the end of last year.

I don't see why not but I take nothing for granted not even the possibility that the digital will have a different signature for all I can be certain, even if Seb says it doesn't.

So I just dont want to disapppint y'all. Most of all Sebastien. Im trying to line it up to make sure Bud gives some good attention to the Digi soon. He is up for it but seems to need frequent reminding of status and existence of the matter lol.

As soon as i turn the nob to 10 it glows red in the daytime so here i am chuffed to bits about that while you prepare for the digital! And im not surprised they are out of bubblers anyone wanna blow glass in a heatwave?

Im glued to my freezer and herborizer so not me!

Yeah sure thing Roddders I will do my best to make accurate observations with a contast to the analog always in mind. However, I have to point out that I actually have quite limited experience with the analog. Less than a month of use anyway, and some time ago.

But I may be able to visit my bro Dave again and have a session with his Ti to get a better comparison when I have a feeling for the DigiTi.

Miserable rainy day here in Bedford! Looks like it will last over the weekend, just when we need maybe one more good week. Dont want to cache chips early if not necessary.

It would be so nice to have peace of mind and be fully relaxed for the Digi. Not sure if I'll see it this week. I have tracking anyway, Saturday with luck but COULD be tom.

I got a like the other day actually to my first thread when I joined in 2015, and I saw your own input there, one of the very first to go out of your way to welcome some new dickhead member, and go out of your way to give the best advice you can offer to help that freak, (whichever one it happens to be at the time. ) Above all though, you genuinely tried to understand all aspects of my personal situation and requirements. Digi-Ti was in England last night. So Im hoping it may come today?? Man really hope so now that it's happening and has all sunk in.

It's one of those things where you have waited and anticipated for so long, had to completely stop thinking and feeling about it, then suddenly its all go and you have to get back into the enthusiasm for it again.

Funnily though the Herbo has not been at the front of my mind the last 2 weeks since ithe order was discussed. It is otherwise preoccupied for the moment, while can you believe it, the incoming DIGITAL HERBORIZER TI (), has been fading into the background??

Actually I keep completely forgettimg about it many times a day, but what a cool thing to keep remembering- °Oh YEAH, DigiTi is on way. I forgot about that!°

Literally the frame of mind at present. But guys and girl , I am going to do my utmost to do you all and Sebastien justice. I will make it and clear and relevant from now on. I will try to emulate you pros and give only good, clear, useful information and pictures.

Gorgeous sunny day here after a rainy one. Just what doctor ordered. REALLY hoping my Digi comes today, but this mesaage is on Collisimo's site would you believe it?:

Double good news Corner- It turned out (semi) sunny!

Okay friends I will keep this short and sweet in line with the new me! I had my meal (takes me hours), cleaned vape station, then rushed to get y'all some decent photos asap. Here we go, but don't get too excited or it will be a bit of an anticlimax:









See the 4 bowls- 14 and 18 mm standard, the Microbowl with glass plug, plus glass concentrate bowl. Also the car charger.

Now what immediately struck me out of the box and this made me quite a bit dismayed was the incredibly short lead from the controller to the heater. I was hoping for a sufficiently long lead because I like the reach of the analogue lead. This is way too short for my own liking. I was dreading Sebastien telling me that it had to be like this for some technical reason because IMO this would be a massive drawback and limitation to this model.

I emailed him right away saying that I can see this being a big deterrent for so many people and this was his reply:

We chose this length because some users of the analog Ti model, wrote me to tell me that the wire was too long

So that has really pleased me to hear that this is easily changeable. I emailed him back saying that I will consult you all and see if we can decide what sort of length lead would suit most people but for me it has to be at least as long as the enail chord on the Flowerpot for example.

It seems the minority have spoken for the many on this, so we need to come together now to see what would be the best compromise.

Not sure what else to add. Heat up was fast, like 3 mins. Sitting stable at 350 now.
I intend to do some testing shortly only 2 vapcaps earlier so pretty straight. More to come...


Oh yes I included the last photograph to show the total distance of wire from heater to socket it is considerably less than the analogue controller as you can see.

Looks like a neat little package!
From what I can tell, the controller looks exactly like my one from China, rock solid and reliable for me!
The cord length is pretty standard and my concern was more the rigidity of the cord.
Something lighter and more flexible would be easier to control.

Have a loo at the High5 coils and their covers. very nice and easy to move around.

It's funny how anticlimactic it can be when going to digital!
All you get is a different box and connector!
In the background you get accurate temp control, repeatable sessions and no dial to figure out your temp!

So far as I remember the original planning the heater has a notable higher wattage than the analogue one, doesn't it?

Why not just offering the cable in two lengths to choose? Or maybe an additional extension cable if wished?
