Is the all glass kit actually worth it? I remember some people saying they got some problems with the glass screen and that they prefer the regular one. What do you guys think?

I had the same thoughts, I'm thinking about just buying the quartz heater & a TAG wpa adapter.
the TAG 14mm male to 18mm female is very nice quality, everything is nice and straight and thick, right now it's on sale for $5. Unfortunately I broke mine before I had a chance to try it with the elev8r heater but I just ordered another one. There's a claisen version with a 10mm carb but not sure how that will play out, anyway I bought both so I'll report back

Got link bro?

I have seen a few TAG pieces....so not sure which on you guys are talking about. Id like to try one but some of the websites dont have good enough pics to see exactly what it is like on the inside.

Alex from 7th Floor called me to clear up an issue with my order. He said they will offer the all glass bowl for sale separately....should be up soon.

We are half way there with da QuArTz.

@7thFloorVapes massive thanks guys for your ongoing innovation. So Im sure I need a quartz heater after I discovered my spare one has no hole, and of course I want it anyway but especially with no backup currently.

Do you expect to get them Jahvaporizer/ Nemastevapes/Everyonedoesit/Vaposhop, or any other European retailers soon?

And if I order from you guys, how do I get the 50% discount code please? Just so that I can total up my cart to work out VAT etc, in case it would be cheaper for me to wait for a European stockist.

Any info very appreciated thanks guys, look what you have gone and done to all these excited little children now.

Hey!

The other is a borosilicate version which has lower thermal resistance than the quartz version. I would take advantage of this sick deal now before time is up! Don't forget to check out that all glass version for only $20 upgrade. Thank you for your support. Ride the Wave!
26 dollars shipping to The Netherlands. No thanks.

Just now looking into the Elev8r. If I plan on using it only through water, is there a reason to get the full kit or would just a heater and rig adapter get me going?
You don't need the wand, but the clip is essential, along with a torch lighter, the water pipe adapter (or compatible bowl), and the heater. I personally use the wand with other Vapes, but find it doesn't cool the vapor from the vr8 enough for me. It sends me into a coughing fit, which is rare for me.

@7thFloorVapes if we have both he quartz and glass heater how will we be able to tell them apart? They look pretty identical in pictures...

I have seen several heaters up close at the same time.....none look the same...there are differences in height and shape.....or placement of the indents.

But I would think weight will be an easy variable to use?

Use a hammer?

hehehehe :goon:

The large large dynavap stash container works well to store heaters. I keep mine in one if mobile with it.

You could use those and label them.

i'm happily vaping away at 660 on coil now, changed over to a shallower bowl taking the good stuff 10mm closer to heater and using crafty/mighty sized doses. 660 is my PIDS happy place with my coil set up. Doesn't over shoot and doesn't lose too much. Coil is still permanently wrapped round the heater and i don't use the SS screen in the heater, (I can tell the difference in taste and temps with that crap). I was quite surprised but made obv sense that taking the good stuff closer and turning the heat down would get the same results. Using less to get same the effects was an added bonus.

I vary over a huge range with my coil temps. Its amazing how you can get very good, large hits over such a broad range. I enjoy starting as low as 630 for amazing flavour, up to 650 to sip off those terpenes with the smoothest long large hits possible.

Or I may start at 670 or 680, in the smaller bowl this is better than 700 up, which I may usevto start the stock bowl depending on my mood. And I ALWAYS temp step from the liw starts as soon as vapor declines, twist the RDK's knob (okay okay feel free to quote me "out of context" lol) maybe 20° up a time. It has to be a worthwhile jump to provide the same density but actually usually the little denser hits and the first temperature.

If you don't increase the temperature in half you will be draining off the load with less than satisfactory hits for me so it's better to go up a good notch, get some really good hits then after two or three it starts to decline again I do the same and I get some more really decent large hits and finish the load usually just above 700 but I'm sure I take it a little too far and extract everything and have pretty dark ABB usually which I know is kind of against the rules here. ;)

But the coil setup is very versatile and Powerful it's capable of extracting very quickly with enormous hits that are tolerated as smoothly as any device we know of but also it can be set at low temperatures will most gorgeous smooth vapor I have ever encountered that's for sure.

I usually use 680 with the coil.....sometimes up to 690 if I mix kief in.

How long in seconds from first heating are you guys taking the draw at...usually for me it is over a minute I let the heater and coil sit before taking the draw. After it is warmed up and if I quick stir and get the heater back on in 10-15 seconds....I usually can get the next draw after i put the coil back on the heater in about 25-45 seconds. Using a smaller or shorter bowl than stock.

I have not tried much below 680 on the coil because I do not want to wait any longer.

What are your length of heat up time before drawing at lower temps like 630-660F ?
