soaked it in iso for long time applied heat. when I turn the nut the shaft turns with it. Any other tips anyone?
I use 2 methods:
  1. I use 2 tiny needlenose pliers.....
  2. Or one tiny needlenose with an eyeglass screwdriver

I have tried 2 small needlenoses one gripping the shaft and the other gripping the nut and nothing budged either when hot or after long I SO soak. Don't know what else to do.

I’ve never had this much issue. I don’t know why you cannot seem to get it off. Only happened to me once and hitting it up made it come off like butter going through a hot knife.

On the phone with Vapir now. The reason I cannot get it off is because I must have bought their first batch of Vapir Rise 2.0. The later batches have a notch or screw slot on the top of the nut and are replaceable. Unknown to me is that their first batch like mine did not have this slot and thus cannot be removed without breaking the shaft and likely the adapter that the plunger shaft slides through.

I asked them to send me a replacement and they are bitching about it is out of warranty. Now have to send them pics to prove I have an earliest version which they replaced soon after with the new design.

I have had good things with Vapir when my N02 broke they were going to replace it, but it was under warranty. Please let us know if they treat you bad. Since you have the old one they obviously knew there was a flaw and changed the design. They should help you out to be fair.

I explained all that and had to send them pictures etc. I will be one very unhappy puppy if they cheap out on me. I have wasted so much time on this not knowing there was a different version of the nut on the plunger shaft for the V2 which I have. I could not even find their phone number. Only found it on their FAQ. Had to waste time sending a message through their form on their web page.

Hope they do the right thing. By the way the person in CS was acting she was saying it is out of warranty so nothing they can do. I wanted to escalate to a manager but none were available. Was then told to send email with pics of my plunger which I have done (more time wasted).

Until today I had no idea I had one that was not removable and that later versions had corrected this flaw.

Update from Vapir!!!!!!!

I am sol (shift out of luck) because my unit is out of warranty. Their advice is to cut off the shaft with a hack saw when I need to replace the plunger screen.

I bet this design flaw was recognized right after I bought mine and they are plain being cheap about this. Morally I feel they are wrong if legally right.

Pissing off your best customers over something so easily fixed is plain dumb. Unless they cant make ends meet and the $10 or less it would cost them to make things right is not within their means.

Busted this bad boy out last night for a bbq. Was doing bag after bag. Really enjoy this vape. Gives a real nice high i forgot about.

Only downside is I need a new herb chamber. The screen bottom broke completely off haha. I’m way out of warranty so not going to bother with that. I just put the screen on the inside of the chamber and it doesn’t fall through. It works. But a pain to cash out the bowl.

I also busted this bad boy out a few days ago. Man... this thing is a real power house.

I stopped using this vape quite a white ago because I was paying $130 for a half ounce and I didn't find it to be very efficient. I started using a VapCap and an Underdog because they were more on demand and way more efficient.

But now I get my bud for WAY cheaper and I've almost got too much bud at the moment. So when I tried the Vapir Rise 2.0 again recently, I used a fair amount of bud and was getting huge hits just one after another.

I also ordered like 25 feet of food grade silicone tubes from ali express (since I'm down to half a length of cleanish tubing). I got ones that had an outside diameter of 10mm and inside diameter of 8mm. Hope it fits well. Will update in a month or two when it arrives.

I was thinking of selling this vape a while ago... but I decided to keep it because it's the only vape I have where a group of people can all vape and get super high. Obviously something like an Arizer Air is not going to be very helpful if you've got a group of like 6 people. But with this thing, you get all 4 hoses going and pack a big bowl and you can get everyone high within 5 or 10 minutes.

Where can we get replacement silicone tubing for this vape? I don’t want to buy the legit vapir ones cause they are too expensive. Could we get extra tubing from Home Depot or Lowe’s? Something like that. Or would those not be safe for the vaporizer and vapor? I hate having to buy their bags too. I wish they kept their EZ valve system that the 1.0 came with.

They are generally 9.99
The ones above are for the Rise.
The starred ones cost 1 to 2 dollars less.
Home Depot does not sell heat safe tubing, and fish tank tubing wont work.
It is wisest to get tubing from a reputable Vapir seller.

I ordered this one from ali express. I got like 5 meters or something like that. It ended up being very slightly too big. But I still had one original tube in good shape, so I cut off about 2 inch pieces from that, and then used that to connect to the vapir rise... and it fit inside these new tubes. So ultimately, this will work for me, but ideally someone can find one that fits perfectly. But if you want, you can just order one official tube, and then a bunch of these tubes, and then use small pieces of the original tube as connectors.

Gotta say, I really like the vapir rise. This was so much better for 2 people compared to an arizer air. It really pumps out the vapor. Best desktop vape for multiple people IMO.

I've just given mine away to sister in law and partner, not used it for months since getting the Elev8r and LSV from 7th Floor. I'm sure they'll enjoy it as I did.

Hey, ya'll - I've been away for a while now. I just worked my way through this thread hoping to glean something from it. I received the Vapir Rise 2.0 the other day and I just can't seem to get it dialed in - it seems so wasteful compared to something like the SS.
I really dislike how the herb just sits there in the heat the entire time.
I can't decide when I've vaped a load done unless I go until the taste starts to suck.
I feel like I wasted 300 bucks - it's like a rock star's vape... I can't afford the herb it needs to perform properly.
I really had high hopes for this thing but now, I dunno...

You can microdose in this. I use to microdose in it all the time. After a hit pull the weed chamber out.

This is the way the vape is designed. It is not an on demand convection vape.

I find it is a very good vape to use when people come over. Use the whip or a balloon. Very versatile and easy to use for people.

So I think I frigged up then - 90% of the time it will just be me. It's just too much vaporizer for a solitary user it seems.

It’s a great unit. Don’t get me wrong. I enjoy mine. It was my first vape. But I would have rather gotten a portable for my first vape. More enjoyable to sit on the couch with a portable.

I consider it a "party vape" - wonderful if you have a lot of material and a lot of people (3-4 min). During a larger gathering, we make bags or set it up with 4 hoses. It just pumps out vapor.

For individual use I think the best way to run it with the fan OFF. It's a true convection vape and that will limit the rate of vapor production. My daughter sometimes uses it with just her and a friends, and she says that works great.

I agree. Fill it up. Pump 2-3 bags out of a herb chamber. People are loving life.
