General rule in any industry: when customers hanker back to your first model, it's time to refresh the product line.
Honestly for me it’s just about completing my collection. Now that I’m hook line and sinker in love with dynavap, I feel like I have to have the original.

I can’t imagine much beating my Omni for daily use, but I’m happy to eat those words when new products come out.

Someone even mentioned a vapcap in the works JUST for concentrates, which I would definitely pick up.

I got this photo from the seller. It looks like the current Ti tip. It HAS seen a torch as the tip is dark, but it should be fine. It is tempting...

The seller assured me it was not, but the pic is not clear enough to be sure. Ebay would protect you if it turned out to not be what he says it is.
My vote is that it is a ss tip. I don't think that it's missing an oring, I think it has the three that a ss tip can accomodate.

The channels are hard to see, but there is a shadow to suggest a double groove.

Just because he has a ti tip receipt doesn't mean that's what he is selling.

Yeah, I can't tell for sure what it is so I await his photo. I could use another tip and as I don't expect any big sales soon this is likely the best price I can find with free shipping. If it IS a SS tip it would be stupid to try and sell it as Ti cause Ebay will just refund the money. But not everyone is very smart. We'll see...

Speaking of orings I have been thinking of ordering some in bulk but can't decide whether to go with silicone or viton. Decisions decisions...

They are pretty cheap, maybe I'll get both...

Could very well be.

As it happens, I just broke my wand putting the tip back in after a cleaning so I don't really need another tip now anyway... :uhoh:

I thought Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear...

Even if it's SS, it's still a good deal.

I think we have a rare discerning bunch here on the forum. I bet 50% or more of the Dynavap customer base couldn't rattle off the differences and merits in tip generation like we can. Can you spell Stony Nerd?

Maybe just go with the color that appeals to you, or get a bunch in each color to add to your LEGO collection.

Could very well be.

I think you now need a new stem and a new tip!!:ko:

The only reason I keep the glass versions (other than my hoarding behavior) is as a historical reference. I haven't used one in years. Stopped using them shortly after I got my first M. I think.

You wouldn't say the glass is any better for taste then? I was considering one myself, my Vaponic is my best tasting vape but it's not that easy to heat right, I was thinking a glass vapcap might be just the ticket.

The @DDave Mods Water Wand is a great , inexpensive glass option in the Dynaverse. He makes one that fits a Dynastash, and an XXXL size as well. @davesmith is making some gorgeous craft-level glass stems.

I really don't feel like the SS or Ti from a VC condenser picks up any flavor, but it might be having smoked for 30 something years and the consequent desensitizing of my tastebuds. I can taste when there is hot plastic in the path (sometimes) but not really SS or Ti, at least not very noticeably. I DO like using glass on my RBT vapes tho...

The big benefit I got from DDave's glass wands was more the greater airflow than a taste thing, tho there was/is sure to be no taste with them.

How weird. I got no alert that @Hollabackatcha replied to this thread...

Proper size for oring orders is 6mm X 1mm, right?
For that matter, I would love to know what size (ID, OD, and... what’s the other one, width?) ALL of the various orings are. Just seems like a good thing to have plenty of spares of since it’s the only part that will really degrade on the vapcaps.

Anyone know the sizes of the different orings and where to order them from in bulk?

I just ordered some Viton and Silicone orings from oringsandmore.com. They are both called 6mm X 1mm. They are 6mm ID 7mm OD and 1mm thick.
Oh, both the orings on the Omni and the m are all the same size???

*apparently should be 6, 8, and 1, rather than 6, 7, And 1, per the OP

Yes if you mean the high temp orings that go on the tip. The tips are the same.

If you mean the X-rings that go on the condensers I'm not sure of the correct sizes, but there are 2 different ones.

And, btw, you quoted me before I made a correction. The OD is 8mm, not 7mm.

Oh, so there ARE two different sizes. Anyone know what the other oring sizes are? I know they probably last a long long time, but having found the vapcap and grown to love it I’m worried that despite their success and passion the company will collapse and my vapcap orings will wear out, and I’ll be without any vapcaps and be miserable because that’s what happens to things I love.

Huh. I sound like I need therapy...

The stainless steel M tips, the titanium tips and the Omni condenser/mp assembly all use the same high temperature orings. They have a 6mm ID, 8mm OD with a CS of 1mm. Here is a silicon one.

The regular condensers use two sizes of xrings. Here's the small one.

And the large one.

This page on the Dynavap website displays the proper x-ring location on the regular condensers.

Amazing, thank you!!!

*edit @Squiby it looks like the first link doesn’t work actually, but other than that I think this should be in the best of dynavap thread if it’s not ready.
