Switch owners: how much of a hassle is it to clean the glass with that huge joint attached to it?
Not at all. The bubbler is super easy to clean. Inside the glass on the base is a different story. It collects a lot of residue, and a black ring of grime will inevitably form just above the rim of the cup that is challenging to clean away. I still haven't been able to completely scrub mine out.

Anyone put both flower and wax in a cup and rip it on quartz mode. Lower temps

sounds interesting I guess you just throw some moon rocks in there and see how it goes

I dropped my dabber like 2 inches and it broke, first piece of glass I've ever broke too. Really disappointed.

I feel your pain my dog broke mine which is why i made the switch to fumed glass.
They really need to drop that new glass already

I agree ended up trying a cooling top from a crafty. Had to file little plastic off but fits right on top. That way its designed allows air still to mix with the vapor. Wasn't bad hopefully they can come up with something along that line.

I noticed it's getting bit of positive feedback on there website. So hoping there going really put some support into making more items for the switch. The switch heating tech has potentials for herb. Works very well for oil.

It don't see it catching on here right away. I can see it selling and appealing to a broader group than hardcore vaporists. Dr Dabblers more oil based in product line and this fits well in there line of gear. The herb part more a bonus feature than the main draw.

It has saved me some cash. I would normally vape 1/3 to 1/2gram before bed. Using the abv instead that got tossed out before. Sleeping better now since the avb has less THC and good amount of CBN.

When my glass broke I cut out the top of 1 liter Sprite bottle and used that. It worked until I got a replacement and it kept the switch cooler which meant less cool down mode.

I wonder if they could make some glass with holes in it where it connects to the switch. Kinda how they make drilled disk brakes to keep brakes cooler

Maybe I should use my ti dabber but I'm afraid it'll mess up the switch.

Feel free to use titanium/metal dab tools if you like. This will not harm the device as long as there is an induction cup inside the unit. We do not recommend leaving metal tools inside the induction chamber for too long, as any metal will begin to heat once inside the induction chamber.

Anyone know why I was charged twice for purchasing 1 product from Dr dabber?

Hey guys, just wondering how do you completely clean the quarts insert cup. I swab it after each dab but I have a lot of buildup in the bucket

I dont own one but did you try magic eraser and some elbow grease? Works pretty well on stuff like that usually.

It didnt work :( thanks for the suggestion though <3

using a ceramic tweezer to scrape seems to be kinda working >.< I think since the well is frosted there is hard to get to spots and angles , will update soon

update:
metal and ceramic tweezers got like 75% of the stains away, still working it though! :D

The self cleaning modes not getting then clean?

it cleans the cups but gets the well dirty, it may be best to use a torch carefully to heat and clean the cups to ensure the well doesnt stain.

I was getting a really bad taste from the staining / left over from the cleaning and its not 100% back to normal yet but its pretty close

If the glass was removable you could put it in a hot bath and use a scrubber to release the gunk

I did too, while sitting on my couch, it just kinda bounced off the unit... I contacted DD n they sent me a new one immediately as well as som replacement ceramic cups, cus mine chipped a bit after cleaning mode.

Run the clean mode.. then take out the cup immediately and fill it with microwaved iso.. let it sit like 30-40 mins. If u watch it, u can see a bunch of shit melting off

Has anyone else seen the new Switche bubble attachment upgrades? If what I saw was legit, they seem to have this red/maroon glass hour glass shaped recycler (what I’m hoping for!) another OG style but in black glass, who knows on that one. It could be exactly the same or there could be some opals or cool sparkles hidden in there.. then another clear unit that seamed to be some kind of bubbled, klien piece of some kind.. coool shit on the horizon fellas!:D:tup::nod:

How do I combine my comments from other posts into mine!?! Ahh don’t wanna flagged

I usually have to iso soak my quartz nail to get it clean. I've also poured iso in the well and let it sit for a bit to clean it. Be super careful not to spill the iso on the Switch, though...it's easy to do!
