I loved my vaporbrothers bubbler with my pa.. sadly I now have some random beta PA and no wall plugin for it  they asked for the entire pa when I warrantied it but only sent back the pa with no plugin :\ what do you do. Never had time to reach out so I dont even know if this contraption works.

For me the more water movement and volume I have to deal with in a MFLB glass piece the more attention I have to pay to the process. On the other hand small volume pieces with less diffusion are easier to deal with. I found that the Orbiter http://sales.magic-flight.com/original-maple-orbiter-1/ is about right for me while the D020-D is a bit large. May I suggest a Bottle Rocket http://sales.magic-flight.com/bottle-rocket/ type setup (DIY is great) to find the volume you like then look at the amount of diffusion you want or need. IMO recyclers In general seem to work better on wider open vapes but thats just one opinion. Good Luck
I`m indeed looking for a small volume piece, my first bong was way too big , i was out of breath before the first vapor arrived at the mouthpiece;) The d020-d is just right for me, but now i`m looking for a little more diffusion and action. I thought for a recycler maybe a more constant airflow is needed to make it work. With the d020 i wait till the FB is on temperature then i`m taking little sips, and when i see that enough vapor is produced i take a long draw. The bubbler then looks like it`s filled with milk; disconnect the tube and boom:D

You mean this one? https://www.vaporbrothers.com/VB2-Inline-Hydrator-Bubbler

Looks like a very nice piece of glass. Too bad i will break something like that in a few weeks:uhoh: But maybe i should look for something similar; small in volume but good diffusion.

You might look at something like the bubbler in the middle, the honeycombed horizontal platforms do a good job at diffusion and the volume isn't bad. There are a number of similar versions on DHgate.

The 3.0 power adapter:

I can be found on the new website. Has anyone tried it yet?
Just ordered, thanks for posting this!

I'm very curious about the 3.0 myself as I've gone through 3 replacements of my 2.1 in less than a year. The last one died in exactly one week. I'm being offered 25% off the 3.0 or a free replacement again. I love my LB, but the power adapter is leaving a bad taste in my mouth. I certainly can't see spending more money if the new one will fail as easily.

If your getting support from the fine folks who make the MFLB ... the above really surprises me. It's not the 3 replacements that surprises me it's the offer. The unit has a lifetime replacement warranty last I looked so I'm surprised they didn't just send you the new version.

Maybe because it's a newer version and the lifetime would only cover on the older style unless the new one is the new replacement moving forwards. I guess the old style like I have is being discontinued?

On a side note, my monocle edition LB, the screen at the top is getting loose. So when I shake it to move the herb majority of the times material just goes all over the place lol
Any quick fixes for this?

Open it 180, and squeeze the spring thing down. I don't have a monocle but that's what I do.

It's not the spring, its that the spring has now got a bit of play in it, just a slight wobble enough for it to move off the round magnet ball, opening the screen a tiny bit.

Just that gap is enough to let material out.
I'll try taking a video just not sure how to post it!

They told me the 2.1 only has a 90(?) day warranty.

Many of the vape retailers and manufacturers will bend their own rules for extremes like having 3 replacements in a short period of time. Bending the rules isn't a guarantee but the ones who pride themselves on top-line customer service like the Magic Flight folks, POTV and PIU might.

If I had 3 replacements I would be very unhappy and surprised if I requested a refund or upgrade to the new unit and wasn't given more consideration. I'd probably also write a few online reviews (aside from FC).

I am pretty sick of dealing with the 2.1. I wish I had done more research on it before buying. I too thought it was a lifetime warranty when I bought it. After mine failed the first time I started looking at reviews of the Power Adapter and it seems that failures are pretty common with this unit.

I just sent them an email asking for a better deal if I return my 2.1. I told them I have lost all faith in the 2.1, and with that, I'm skeptical to spend money on a new version if it will fail also.

It does appear the problems with the connection at the dummy battery have been addressed with the new version. Unfortunately I think the last two that died on me are the electronics going bad, not the connection.

Does anyone know how the wiring works on the 2.1? I assume the back and white wires coming out of the box are the + and -, and the yellow somehow is wired to the switch. The extra (yellow?) wire is what's puzzling me unless the power goes to the switch from one of the other two wires and the yellow goes back to the box to turn on the power somehow.

Have you tried to contact someone from magic flight here on FC? I think @MagicFlight Press is a member but I don't know for sure.

Please let us know how your request works out. The MFLB was my first vape and it was the culture of the company and it's products that turned me on to what vaping should be.

No, I'm fairly new to this site, in fact these are my first posts. I have been in contact with someone using the name Hobbit at MF.

Thank you for the heads up on the member here.

I don't want anyone to think I don't like MF, they are quick to reply and so far they have been very accommodating with replacing things under warranty.

Why the hell did they not use brass for the case of the 3.0? One of the appeals of the LB or MD is the wood and brass, it has a nice vintage craftsman look to it. The tin case of the 3.0 looks cheap next to the Monocle or the MD.

i dealt with hobbit also, very nice and friendly!

I agree, my 2.1 is standard black plastic, i got the none- wood version (box with the dial on it) and seeing the 3.0 all silver kinda suprised me as thought they would have made it to look just like a LB

I heard back, 25% is the best they will do. I'm not sure if they are offering me the discount plus the replacement or the discount instead of the replacement.

As for the brass look, I made my own Dummy battery out of styrene, brass tube, a spring and a rivet shaped pin from the hardware store. I stole the strain relief from one of my dead PA's. I want to use a cloth braided wire to keep with the vintage look.I would also like to try to replicate the black plastic strain relief in wood.

I bought a 2 D cell battery box to power it. Does anyone know if there are D cells that would work with the LB? If not I will get a couple of the 3AA to a single D adapter and use the Glyphs.
