The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

“On another note, does anyone know where to find a long handled version of the brush that comes with the volcano or the mighty? I’ve tried searching on the Internet but the search terms are too nonspecific and don’t pull up what I’m trying to find. I don’t need that exact brush, just the same kind of idea. I’ve been using kids painting brushes but I don’t like the idea of the syntheticbrush fibers accidentally ending up in my lungs...”

is there anything else I should buy while I am ordering to go along w the Mighty?

it comes with everything you'll need for a while. I've had mine for about 3 years and may have changed one O-ring once; yours will come with spares so you don't need to buy them, and it looks like you'll get a free stand, water adaptor and extra grinder, so you'll be in good shape.

Thanks, I was looking for brushes with a much longer handle though. I actually bought a paint brush off of eBay that I’m waiting to get and I’ll see how that is. I will report back my findings just in case anyone else is interested

& a Bubbler
PUFFEDUP-15% Off

Funny you should mention that, I bought a bubbler for the mighty and took it on my recent vacation. I don’t know why, but somehow it didn’t dawn on me that the bubbler was going to need a LOT of cleaning. Like it was gross after one session. Which is good in that it’s catching all that stuff before it gets to my lungs, but bad in that I was on vacation and was not really prepared to clean glass like that. A little rinse in the sink I expect, but this needed a full alcohol and salt treatment after just one session. Sadly I ended up throwing it in the garbage because I wasn’t prepared to drag around this sticky thing on my trip.

It also does take away some of the flavor of the vapor, which was a problem for me. I am a medical user and I don’t give a rat’s rear end about flavor. However, I am very sensitive to whatever is burned off at the end of a session and so I have to watch carefully for the flavor change so I can stop in time. @arb was talking about noticing loss of flavor on the volcano thread too...

By the way @Ratchett is your dosing capsule filler permanently discontinued? Do you happen to have any old ones or seconds hanging around that you’d consider parting with? (Just picture a kitten staring at you with big sad eyes looking pitiful)

my research is suggesting the longer the handle, the greater the diameter of the brush head. If this remains the case, perhaps creatively lengthening the handle may suffice?
Ive found numerous long, thin nylon bristle bottle or straw brushes that could work

And that’s exactly what I ended up doing, at least virtually. I ordered a natural bristle paintbrush with a half inch flattened head. The flat head seemed like it would work better for my purposes, as I’m using it to brush out the crevices of the coffee grinder I use for weed. It will be arriving tomorrow. Crossing my fingers it’ll work, I’ll let you know...

So the other day I scraped all the gunk out of the CU for the first time.

But the reclaim is not pure oil, the end result is a tiny ball with the texture and look of soggy abv. Is this what can be re-vaped in a concentrate pad?

Not discontinued! I promise I'm working on publishing a new v3 loading tray this summer as soon as I get my new 3D printer installed. Long story short, I wasn't satisfied with the quality of V1 and V2 loading trays, so I went back to the drawing board to build a better tray. This loading tray is one of my top priority projects for the new printer once I've got it installed and calibrated.

I've actually got a lot of exciting stuff planned for this summer/fall season.

Old & In the Way
Just snagged an updated Mighty barely used for $200 shipped with box and all accessories :brow:

Been eyeing one of these for years now. Went ahead and got some dosing capsules to go with it since everyone seems to love them so much.
You're gonna like this thing. Much different experience than a 'Hopper! Great for sharing, or those longer, more leisurely sessions.
Delta3dStudio makes a great water adapter (see his V3) and a nice stand as well.
