Interesting - I'm going to try the pulse method that @paytonpenn references. I love monster vapor clouds and it sounds nice. There is definitely more than one way to skin the cat with this vape :p

Payton have you noticed the coil warping or have you had to replace it using this method? I have extra coils but would rather not be replacing them every 2 months.

Double and trpl pressing will warp coil pretty quick...you have weigh good vs bad whether its worth it to you. Also the extra coils I got were bigger and a lot better than stock ones.

Wow... I was putting my two halves back together and I noticed my lock only goes one way which mean s ...this a phase 3 replacement not a phase 2....as per Haze post yesterday. So that mean s i have had bad phase 1 and a good phase 3 !

Man...it’s been a long time since I used a portable that I liked so much I had to come in here and talk about it!

I got my V3 yesterday after finding my sweet spot with the V2 over the last week, and I’m in love...and here’s why. It’s the biggest hitting portable I have, right up there with the Apollo. Most nights, after testing portables that just don’t satisfy a heavyweight like myself, I have to fire up my Herborizer or some other sweet desktop with a big bowl to knock me out, but not last night.

Each of the Square’s bowl packs a wallop, and there’s four of them to run around with! The bowls are so big it’s actually a two-hitter instead of a one-hitter because it takes that first hit to get it all up to temp. After 2 or 3 hits I’m feeling it and saving the rest for later, and I can get another 2 on-demand sessions like that before it’s spent. I went out to a hot spot last night with one packed bowl in the Square and when I needed to, I ran outside for a quick two hits and got what I needed before going back in. This never happens for me on a portable...it always feels like a band aid fix that won’t get there until I can get home and hit my desktop.

The Square has some minor problems, but I just don’t care when it hits like this...it’s liberating for high tolerance users! I can run through the battery before I want, but with quick charging and pass through it doesn’t matter...it’s always ready to give me a quick punch somehow. The slow-to-respond button doesn’t bother me anymore...I figure it’s just telling me to slow down a little and chill. And I don’t mind holding in the button in all the time anymore. You know what I do? I always use it with the button on the bottom, Then I use my thumb on the button and just give it a gentle pinch and the weight of the Square is enough to keep it on with barely a press, and the haptic tells me when it’s ready. Out of the box it’s not hot enough for a top temp user like me and I have it set to 450F and use that temp for the entire bowl start to finish. Tastes great most of the way through and I tap the outside like @paytonpenn to stir and when done the abv comes out like it does on my desktops so that’s good enough for me.

You see what’s happening here? When a vape hits me like this I don’t care about the shortcomings anymore. No vape is perfect and it’s about finding the right one for you. Turns out what I needed was a portable that could punch me in the face at a moment’s notice. If you’re a heavy hitter looking for something that can keep up on the road, this is the line to get in. Just make sure you have access to the app somehow.

Reporting back.

The original mouthpiece had a faulty oring which created a terrible experience from the get. After it fell out of its hole from being too loose breaking on the floor. It was a blessing in disguise became the 2nd mouth piece included worked 100%.A full pack medium to light tamp depending on density and moisture level really matter. The dryer and fluffier the material makes for a less ideal session for this vape. Dense moist material leads too exceptional results, visible vapor extended sessions and no combustion or char in the end.

So...has anyone tried using some of these cool little stainless steel concave shaped 3/4" screens?

Well, I thought they might fit on the Square bowls as a way to not only make the bowl slightly smaller, but also keep the built-in stainless screens clean.

They actually do fit. Kinda perfectly. They also don't interfere with the seals (they sit inside them)

Next, will they stay in place? Well, I tried that too...(and yeah, they stay fine). Even if you shake them - they are slightly smaller than the silicon ring, which they sit inside of.

I tried 3 bowls - one at .1g, slightly less than .1 g, and about .15g - all were less than a complete fill, equivalent to my micro-cans in the Dual. All vaped just fine in the Sq. Biggest difference I've found between vaping .1g in the Square vs the Dual is number of hits. I can completely vape .15g in about 4-5 good hits on the square vs 8-10 in the Dual - for what feels like the same effect. And, of course, I don't have to do the entire Sq bowl in a single session (my goal for buying the Sq in the first place).

Only the fine material made it thru the screen -

The ABV looked completely cooked (the one that's really dark was finished at 400f, most done at 385f)

So that's my little update. I'm going to keep using those SS screens, at least until the Haze micro-bowls are available

My grand daddy purple hit amazing Thursday night. Friday night wasn’t as great. Even at 395 is what I did the bowl at. Didn’t see much visible vapor. I got extremely high though. So high that I thought the fire department was shutting down my bon fire in the backyard that I started hiding shit and hosing it down. (Sirens and lights) on the side of my house. I was so high thought I was getting booked.

But for some reason I didn’t see any vapor until my very last hit when I squeezed the mouth piece into its hole on top and held it in for the entire draw. Then I saw vapor.

I am getting amazing results on 350 visible! And as I step up I get even more.
Draw technique is just as important as pack and moisture of materials.

Dude my original mouth piece that was loose caused me so many problems and its such a simple fix for haze wider orings for a tighter seal.

Some days she great. Other days not so great. I assume the O rings expand from heat which would provide a better seal. Maybe they don’t come with thicker o rings for that reason. If they were bigger and when they get warm they expand even further, mouthpiece could get stuck?

That what I was thinking..... thicker would expand too... could be too much.....after yesterday s orin g issue I am firm believer in dynawax or equal to lube o rings. Will just add to life and if thicker o rings are tight it may work with a little wax.

I haven't posted photo's here so not sure if this will work. This one is the iso q-tips after cleaning the airpath.

My Qtip's after the first initial cleaning of the air holes looked the same way thank you for posting! That amount of debris left from the factory is unacceptable and should immediately be addressed because some users have not a clue about initial cleaning before first use and trust that the company has done the foot work.
Love the Vape but you would expect that type of factory QC on a sub $100 device.

@VapeMeister Supreme I agree completely. I find fresher moist flower to give much better, thicker, tastier hits.

I also find vapor production drops off as battery life depletes.

@Djsleepy have u used your new larger coil? If so any difference? My coil seems to warp some without double pressing. I have replacements coming.

Yes did it on the fourth...seems a little thicker and larger than original... Seems to be better at extraction/vapor production than original. I would change it once you get replacements... You will notice the difference!

I thing @ginolicious would agree.... to definitely readjust coil as needed usually when it raises on side of ceramic... I have even done adjustments on new coil...... cause even single presses with higher heat or use will cause coil to ride up/warp.

I do agree about the coil needed a readjustment. But lately. I have not needed to touch it.

I intend to grab a few coils when microdose pods come in. Not sure if I should grab a new mouth piece or just o rings as well.

Grab a mp...trust me ... If it breaks you are done. Orings too .... Haze told me orings, coils, and battery are the things they expect to go out after time and usage....that is why they are not covered under warranty

I’m happy to report my Square arrived. I managed to pre clean it, and had THE most enjoyable bowl of Cherry Thunder Fuck last night. Absolutely delicious, easy and the best high I’ve had in a long while. My first ever convection

Took it to the beach today and promptly lost the mouthpiece....ugh. So now I’m ordering a replacement. While I’m shopping, does anyone know if theater pipe attachment for the Dual https://www.hazevaporizers.com/product/haze-dual-v3-glass-water-tool-attachment/ will work with the Square? I’d love to use my little bubbler with this sometimes.

I also lost my mouthpiece and really would like to see some more accessories like a stronger material The stock mouthpiece is still nice

This probably won’t help anyone who’s lost their mouthpiece, but a minivap mouthpiece or the mouthpiece at the end of an Herbalizer whip also fit in a pinch while waiting for a replacement. Best fit so far though is the minivap flexicone+, and it can be cut to length to fit the storage slot.

I used a single pad today and a silicone cap with a thin coat of dabs. Still smooth massive draws. There doesn't seem to be any reason to use 2 pads unless its a massive concentrate pod for a crowd. Is anyone else using the silicone caps? Is it necessary and/or recommended for any particular reason? May back the temp down to 450 or 460 for concentrates rather than the current 480. Not sure if its possible to combust with dabs but it almost tasted like I did today on a massive draw. Granted the flavor isn't as good as the first few draws of an herb pod anyways - but it still is pretty good considering no waterpipe.

My paint is also peeling off of the turn knob on both of my top covers. One is almost completely gone. Also on one of my top covers requires Hulk Hogan finger twist to close. Literally hurts my fingers sometimes. No big deal as this thing still hits like a truck.

Still loving the Haze and the super high highs! The only thing I am mildly annoyed with is the fact that I still don't have my 2 extra trays, extra battery, and other missing stuff from my June 6th shipment. I understand the need to get other orders out but in my eyes the people who paid the higher price for the Wanderlust collection should receive their items in a timely manner - otherwise don't offer to purchase them in advance. Not a huge deal but I mostly want the trays for being able to load 3-4 days of vaping to go and not be screwing with it every night. I know @Haze Vaporizers has it on lock as their CS is truly great. Spoke to someone in CS 2 weeks ago who confirmed they are coming but without a definite timeline. Just hoping we don't go too much longer without getting the much needed extras which was the whole point of Wanderlust!

Anyone on the fence about buying this vape - just DO IT! It seriously kills and is the first one that I've used that does dry herbs and concentrates equally well.
