Discontinued Haze Square

First concentrate from the square last night. Tried dabs between a sandwich of 2 concentrate pads on the highest temp (480). Several huge and smooth draws - completely finished it off, none was wasted - and the sandwich appears to be the way to go as the SS screen didn't really get gunked up at all.

I wasn't expecting much on the concentrate front - but honestly I'm impressed and this thing legitimately handles them well!

Another win for the Haze Square!

Vaped did nice Grand Daddy Purple last night. First time vaping hag strain. Kinda has a cough syrup taste to it a bit. Not sure if I totally like the taste. But after a few draws was growing on me. Producing nice vapor. Some hits were so dense at 365 that I couldn’t draw for the full 10 seconds.

This vape is starting to remind me of the Elevape Smart Vape. With differences of course. Never bought one. Thank god I didn’t. Company went belly up. Something I doubt I will see happen to Haze!!!

Phase 3 arrived:)

Will update soon.:brow:

First Bowl used at 3:30 355 440.
Dark brown AVB specks of black but no combustion

Little visible vapor tasted great. The wife commented the unit gets hot.

Second bowl 415 then 390.

Went to change to another Bowl counterclockwise and top popped off ...

I think its pretty easy to reassemble the square without the loading tool. Sure it's easier. Just use the main half as a "loading tool" so you just need to align it. When I have time, I'll make some photos.
To performance wise I didn't get a hang of the square yet... its really annoying... But man I did get one amazing hit and if it does performs like that consistently, its a money shot

Hoping for Haze How to videos like ghost did.

And the microdosing... Getting a hang of it with .25 and every time a combustion is really annoying.. But right now I don't have time for trying.

Im getting super sticky resin coating the screens which then get coated in herb, which falls right off with a poke, but i wonder if its having an effect on the quality of my ABV. I haven’t gotten as even coloring or as full extraction as i get with my nearly as new Plenty. Either to be expected and/or I just need more practice packing it.

Anyone getting even//well extracted ABV... what are you using for your grind? I’m putting dry herbs once through a

Maybe thats not enough? Or i’m possibly packing my herb too dense; maybe getting all clumped up when i grab pinches out of the grinder...

The resin is like light honey and i wish there was a practical way to gather it up. Reclaiming really intrigues me now that i’m vaping more as opposed to combustion...

Give it a stir. Try higher temps

I use some scultping tools to scrape and collect and put in silicone case.... working on a nice ball of reclaim...might end up in my cookies!!!!
Using abv or already been vaped material is great for making butter which can used in all sorts of recipes.

Someone posted a few pages ago to sandwhich between two concentrate lads. I don’t know if that style is for me. Personally I’m going to try just putting a dab on one single pad. I would suggest temps of at least 440.

I busted an orin g and took some dynawax and filled the groove on mp ....then I took busted orin g and pushed into dynawax as I wrapped it around....it acted kind of like a glue and held together enough for me to insert mp and is working. So if you or heat either stretches or breaks orin g try this until you can get a replacement.

So last night, as I was cleaning my square pro, I loaded all 4 bowls up. In a hurry as always to get lit, I forgot to tamp down! :uhoh:
I didn't even realise! Only found out when I went to vape the first pod and it was just meh. (Didn't think twice and carried on vaping throughout the night to the 3rd pod. I then opened it and found the herb just went everywhere lol)

Tamping down, lightly or firmly however you wish, it does make night and day difference.
Just wasted 3 pods lol so let this be a lesson to you all! Always tamp down firmly! Firmly works best for me.

I also just got the waterpipe adaptor from delta3d thanks @Ratchett !
Will try this with a bubbler tonight!

I’d really like to see a pic of that adapter in action!!! Did you snag the one listed as ‘nearly universal’? @junny89

Lol its nothing as fancy as my glass adaptor for the ghost mv1. This is just some rubber that fits over the mouthpiece with 14mm or 18mm ridges.

Oh if anyone else wants one, it's the SMALL size that fits.

Will try making a video of it, excited to see how it performs as I've never taken the square above the lowest setting lol anything higher just makes me cough a lot!

@O-G-Reg I assume its the black adapter I used in my video.
Yep that is the one!!

I watched the new review that was just posted. I agree and disagree with some things said and shown in that video. Just like Peyton my knob on the back is starting to lose the black finish.

I disagree with the double or triple press method. I do not require such a press technique to obtain vapor ar 365. I find it’s about your draw. Not your button pressing. I have very consistent draws all the time on my Square. The times that I do not have a good hit is due to my draw not being the same technique as the prior or the bowl needing a stir.

To clarify. I get vapor with the normal method. But I get better vapor pulsing. I am not specifically following the previous double/triple press, what I am doing is kind of different. I am essentially running it semi-automatic and not relying on the heaters concept of if it is fully heated or at temp. But I am interested in way higher temps than you seem to be so I want thick near combustion hits. I also pulse because the heat up on the Square is long when you are above 410F. I am often in combustion zone and holding for the full press is definite combustion.

Thanks for watching. I've used this vape with probably about 8 people and never told them about my pulsing method and showed them normal use to get it working, they had no issues.

After having this for a while and using it daily. I love it. Only down side is how the mouth piece sits in the unit when you want a hit. It needs a better seal. Sometimes the suction or fit isn’t sealed. I don’t know if it’s me. But it’s something I noticed a few times when no vapor production.

Hey @Djsleepy is your honey in your air chamber speckled with plant material?

The amount of resin really speaks to the level of extraction.
