Nothing beats a bag for a complete newbie.
hm, do u know any other vapes with 30mm diameter bowl that deliver even abv without stirring?
Volcano is the best at bags
I agree 100%.
I have the:
  1. Zephyr Ion
  2. Herbalaire
  3. Herbalizer
  4. Super Silver Surfer
  5. Vapir One
  6. Vapir Rise
  7. Vivape
  8. Extreme Q
  9. Volcano
I love each, and each has a place in my rotation.... but I do not use all with bags.
For bags, the Volcano still outdoes them all.
Faster....Thicker Vapor.... and better experience.
Remember... we are talking about "Balloon Vaporizers" here!

@btka I third the tubo. The tubo is incredible. I prefer it to just about all else. It churns out thick vapor and huge clouds. It can microdose or it can handle a ton. It can be used on demand or you can set it to cruise mode and have a nice 10 minute session. It is 100% convection so it only cooks as you draw. Vapor is a little harsh through the stem at higher temps but the whip is more my style when I want to sit back and relax on the couch. I pop it on the cruise mode and let myself melt down. I unfortunately am far away from mine but on my next trip home I’m making room in the suitcase to take back with me!

I haven't tried it but what about the Valloon by Vriptech? Has anyone tried this bag vape? As the owner of this company is considered one of the leading experts on vaporisation in the world so wouldn't this be up there as one of the best?
I consider the Volcano to be outdated I have one but it is obsolete since I got my more efficient vapes, but surely there are more efficient bag blowers by now then the Volcano? I mean it is old and surely technology has increased in this area?

I had one here, but gave it to a patient withing a couple of weeks of receiving it.
It was not easy to use, and required 2 handed operation.
All Hot air guns can produce vapor, but this was complex, and I did not find the vapor to be satisfactory enough for the work needed to "get there".
That is why it is listed as retired on my signature.

What would be perfect for you? I think the fury 2 is a great small one but if I could only have 1 vape of all I own or have tried it would be the tubo. It has great vapor and I forget how powerful it is when I use anything else for a while. I think it's close to perfect.
can you maybe compare the tubo evic to fury2 and splinter...

I have a Volcano and have absolutely no plans to sell it.

I agree with the above comment that for those people who are new to vaping, and in particular new med patients in the list of expanding med legal states who don't have a prior background in rec MJ, the Volcano is non-threatening looking, easy to use, and extremely consistent in operation.

I have a number of other vapes so the Cano is not used all that regularly, but while older and also not running a "party house", I do have the occasional dinner party and nothing beats passing around a Cano bag. Easy, no technique or instructions really required, and I can dial up vapor density as I wish by adjusting temp (well, for the most part).

While I listed my "balloon vapes, and said I loved the Volcano best... part of that came from maintenance and cleaning also (and the time you can let it go between)... it does not mean I do not love the others... I am strictly speaking from a patient/performance standpoint.
Proof of that is in this Zephyr Ion Video;

Vito, WOW!

That's crazy! :)

Ok, so my 1st venture into vaping was the original Herbalaire, which Bohdan (original designer, owner) upgraded to a v2.2 gratis :)

I used it for flower, concentrate, and greased up flower.

I had more visitors back then, so filling a bag was just convenient.

It is convenient, but not as smooth as from a whip, and then over time you have to decide what to do with the bags that have a sticky layer of resin coating the insides (vapor condensates!).
(Everclear wash for reclaim?)

The Herbie worked great for this, they can even fill as much as 5 bags at once if you're having a big party.

After 10+ years of great service, I gifted it to my brother (along with the pump, Hydratube, TonG adapter), it's still kickin' butt.

I replaced that Herbie with a new Elite with the high output pump.
The one thing to note is that you can't get the Herbie hotter than about 410F (with indexing in play).
But at that temp, it works pretty damn stellar.

I still have my Herbie Elite, but most of what I use are the newer 'palm-vapes', similar to the Tubo Evic.
With these you have a selection of MODs to pick from, as well as atomizers to use on them.
My last pick was an eLeaf Invoke 220W, I use my Divine Tribe (@divinetribe) atomizers on it, good stuff.

+1 Arizer EQ.

Had a EQ and a volcano. Volcano is better at bags. However its not that much better, and does not deserve the price tag. Volcano bags are self sealing, EQ bags are not. Sure you could figure out a stopper for the EQ bags. EQ is way more versatile with whip options, DDave mods and comes with a remote. Its at a bargain price and you get loads for your money. Would not buy a volcano again, but if i could buy a desktop vape EQ would be high on my list

If you can find a good deal on a Zephyr Ion it can't really be beaten. I just snagged one on ebay for $60 and it works great. Deals go up like that on ebay pretty often it seems like.
