Multi-brand HEALTHY RIPS FURY

could use some help from 1st generation arizer air or boundless cf owners. How would you compare the oven capacity from these vapes with the oven capacity of the hr fury 2? thanks

Solo/Air/ArGo (all models) are basically the same capacity as F2. Depending on grind, strain, and cure say 1/4 gram? For instance, the 'dosing capsules' for F2 also fit well in Solo/Air stems. A more or less standard size, for instance the Flower Mates are in this class. VGs are in this range as well. Some, like MFLB and VapMan (a personal favorite) are about half that (1/8 gram, give or take).

There are very large differences in potency of herb, making choices based on volume questionable IMO. "You get out what you put in", there's no magic. Heat it correctly and most any vape will extract what's in the load in the process of converting herb to ABV.

i have both and i think the Fury 2 oven can hold more than the Air 1 stems. But the Air stems probably hold more than the Fury stems, which are about 10mm.

Don't own a Fury, but i can't complain about the Fenix mini - no bad silicone smell or whatsoever, afaik it's from the same factory in the end, and even cheaper here ;)
Just like a Fury1, concentrate tank that is a pita and barely worked, forgot how they upgraded in the F2 to a more industry standard pad. Don`t forget the F2 lifetime 50% replacement after normal warranty runs out.
But I can see your point, the Fenix is very well priced.

Just got my Fury2 today, this is the first factory made vape I've purchased in a long while.

Do I do the initial burnoff with or without the mouthpiece on?
Should I also do an iso wipe before starting?

Dont be cheap and buy a fury 2, it's already cheap enough and just for the CS and the better quality is worth it. Always support companies with good CS guys.
I had already bought two Fury2, because I lost my first one.
Bought the first one after reading here it was a good one and didn't regret once.
I asked just because I get asked quite often which vaporizer to buy as a first one, an since F2 is my answer, I guessed Fenix could be a cheaper alternative.

Any overcharging in your Fenix?
Most importantly, the Fury 2 has Overcharge Protection. Who's going to remember to take their Fenix off charge after 2 hours every time? Certainly not me after using it!

Im not sure if it matters but since the burnoff is for clearing the chamber and heating element of potential factory residues you may as well leave it on, since the bottom of the MP counts as part of the chamber.

Should I also do an iso wipe before starting?
Even though the instructions dont say you have to, I always do out of gut instinct. If theres any factory crud to remove from the chamber then 2 methods of removal makes me feel better than 1. I did 2 burnoffs and 2 iso/water wipes. Overkill maybe, but when I fired it up the 3rd time to use it, all I smelled was a fresh hot metal oven..exactly how its supposed to smell.

We took a run with the dosing caps last evening and won't be using them. I prefer the performance of the bare Fury 2 bowl which is also the reason I don't use the glass with it either.

For me the vapor production and feel is so much better in the Fury 2 and a bare bowl filled with herb.

:2c:
that is also my opinion... I get most vapor without dosing caps (maybe less conduction because of dosing caps and I have also the feeling when drawing air is passing around the dosing capsules which maybe dilute the vapor with air... but I have to test more...

Hey,
I have my fury 2 since severals days and i'm a bit disappointed at first by the "factory" taste, remember me the Boundless CF or my first Vivant alternate (was worst tbh)... After severals bowls this bad taste disappear but i found the taste very neutral with this vape. The vapor production is very good even with low temp a bit harsh at high temps .... but omg the sound when you take big strong draw, it's not very stealth:p . This is my "holiday" vape with my Vapcap, so i'm going to test more the next weeks...

I have this little "task" or "scratch" inside the bowl, i don't know how to call that @HealthyRips.com or someone can tell me if is normal ?

I just did it both ways and it turned out fine. No bad taste from the 1st bowl. The last factory vape I bought was the Boundless CF over a year ago and I don't remember if I did burnoffs for that thing or not. I stopped using it (and all other dry herb portables) after discoveriing the power of the Flowerpot showerhead. The FP was my daily driver til my living situation changed where I could no longer leave it out and ready every day.

The Fury2 will make a great substitution on days where I can't plug in. Vapor production at higher temps & WPA was the same as the CF but with better flavor. For dry & low temps, the F2 was better in all aspects. Battery life is also the same (bad), but at least with the Fury2 digital display the battery life bar is shown on screen at all times.
Overall I am satisfied with my purchase. The only downside is loading/unloading the bubbler accessory. Kinda cumbersome for me to load without spilling water or your material. Good thing my kit also included a WPA that loads more like a log vape WPA, which is much easier than packing the bubbler.

Perhaps I should of went with the dry curved stem? Is there really a noticeable difference in smoothness vs the default mouthpiece?

If you are sensitive with the heat from the Fury & you would like to use it more often without water, it is a great investment.
I personally feel a difference at the higher temps and love the bent stem. It is a bit cumbersome (you can’t just flip it over in oven when done like the WPA; instead you have to place it on its side somewhat carefully. However, not nearly as carefully as I suspect you need to do with their bubbler.

The bent stem is a very civilized addition. I love mine.

Another good thing about the bent stem is that flower particulates dont make it past the bend, so not only is the vapor cooler but its cleaner too. If you already have the bubbler, why not just use it dry? Its already cooling and filtering the vapor even without water in it. The bubbler without water is probably even cooler than the bent stem.

Another in my "Why I Own a Fury2" series, this one taken in northern Newfoundland. That is an iceberg from Greenland and the wind is howling. The flowers are moss campion. Warmest day so far this year, 66F/18F but gusts to 50mph/80kph. Why F2? Small, highly portable, very reliable, fast heat up, and most importantly, dosing caps!!!!!! which make it easy to use in the wild and windy places I love.

The image was here, it shows up on the edit page, but now its disappeared from the post. I don't understand. So I think I'll get stoned.

There's a whole thread about the picture or lack of issue...... but that is a fantastic picture!

The easiest work around to see the pictures is just to hit reply, the picture shows up in the box and the next time you reload the page it does as well.

I just love this thing thru water, it's a perfect little 1-1/2 hitter. walk up, turn on, load, it's probably almost heated, a tiny primer hit, a full draw, and another just because there might be something left and I'm done.

As much as I'm looking forward to the Fierce, I'm already wondering if the size of the F2 won't keep me here? I'm buying one either way

@Simple10, the wpa is a worthy investment if a small glass bubbler is suitable for your home use with the Fury 2. I have vapes I prefer to the Fury 2 native mouthpiece, but with the wpa and D020 from dhgate the Fury 2 reasserted itself in my home rotation because it's milkier with glass. The glass mouthpiece and wpa are both great for efficiency too.

Well the image is there again. Sorry for the double post, but Imgur was messing with me...again.

One thing I just noticed in the picture is that the Fury 2 still looks new. This baby has been used 3 or 4 days a week in the winter, starting in January, and 5 or 6 days a week since the dosing caps arrived, often in wild and rough conditions. This little vape is just so solid.

Its a great image though! Nice to see F2 in those conditions.
