Big Shot Blazer. Best torch on the market

How do I get one in the EU without paying my ass off in shipping fees?

Also the big shot is 2600 F (wich is 1300 C.) and the one I linked is also 1300 c. Won't I get the same result?

I think that the Ebay deal will be the best in your case.. but you can look the others up. I just pasted top hits from a search engine tuned to look in EU sites.
Other than that look up for Blazer Big Buddy or Rosle Torch it is very nice and has 5 years warranty,it will do the job for you. If want something cheap but effective my favorite chinese torch is the Honban's BS-600 i got mine for 11$ locally ,Flame is monstrous like 30 CM...

Oh thank you! the vapefiend one looks pretty good, cheapest one out of the bunch. Gonna look into that. But won't the one I linked give me the same result for almost half the price? I mean 2500 F flame is a 2500 F flame, no matter the torch. Or am I missing something?

I have been using the Blazer Big Buddy Turbo. Here is a link for you in your part of the globe.

Got 2 of them and they are perfect for the Elev8r. The bigger one, Big Shot will use up more fuel. The Big Buddy is more than enough power and I always use it on the lowest possible setting. Just use high quality fuel and you are set.

Won't send to the Netherlands according to ebay. And with postage it is way more expensive than the one I myself found.

But can anyone actually answer my question? I found one from a dutch website that ships to me in one day for free. According to the website the temp of the flame is the same as the Big Buddy and the Big Shot. Why should I spend 30-50% more for some branding? Or is there something else I'm overlooking?

Hey bro ! The small torches are also 1200 C,but it is important how many watts of power does it have or calories in this case. Temperature and ammount of energy are two different things.
Larger flame size more watts. It is important how big the flame of torch ,how long and how wide .
I will check on youtube if there are videos of the torch you listed :).

Hmh oke. Really in doubt about what to do. Spend 55 bucks on a big buddy and let it ship from the US (maybe extra tax when it comes into the country.) Or get a 38 buck one that I'm unsure about if it's powerful enough. It looks pretty much the same as the big buddy, the pictures show a big flame and it's pretty high quality.

All this work you put in, I just had to get the big buddy. The Kookeli didn't ship to NL ( I guess the fact it's a torch is a problem or something) so I ordered one from vapefiend. They also offer pretty fast shipping so I'm very happy.
Haha,it is really nothing, i have my search engine tuned right and it is pretty easy to find deals. Glad you got it sorted out ,vapefiend service is indeed topnotch. I would have gotten a big buddy too long time ago,but i am really happy with my BS-600 torch, and i cant really justify spending 5-6 times that much for a more quality torch.. I would rather buy 6 of these in the long run .. :)

You know Im really not sure if I need a quartz heater for any real reason except durability obviously.
Maybe I am just naive here but I can't see how it will improve the experience and Performance with the coil setup currently and the glass heater. Surely functionally it will be the same it is just the heating properties- retention and Cooling etc which will be different and therefore will offer a substantial advantage when torching the heater for a longer, more stable window.

So I'm not personally gagging for quartz myself because I'm only using the coil these days which is working fantastically. On that- I dropped my temps a lot yesterday. I have been riding the higher temperatures for rapid and Powerful extraction of any size bowls. Like 680 starting temp small bowl, going up to 710 or higher, sometimes starting at 695-700.

Big bowl- starting temp 690-700 but often higher.

So yesterday I loaded up the big bowl with a sizeable amount of Durban poison, and started the load at about 665/6 (unintentional, I ain't no Satanist now lol!) :disgust::evil::goon:

Wow, gorgeous flavour I have been by-stepping. Real terpy hits, but BIG hits too. And boy did I remind myself how much more medicating these lower temperature extractions actually are.
That bowl was amazing anyway I did step up into just over 700 which left me with dark ABV and total extraction.

I vaped another bowl later on, from the other Durban plant, a diff pheno. Same temp 666, took 2 hits initially. Again, terp heaven, smooth but very good hits. I was totally wasted from it, and the Vapcap load just prior. Way more medicated than usual from the amount of vapor. I took a good hour out before I vaped the whole load off like Popeye on spinach!

So I will be focusing on these lower temps from now on. The coil rig is so effective though, I have no desire to be torching any time soon.
Anyone considering rigging up a coil I can recommend it if you can get it adjusted and working right so your temps are stable you simply can't beat the performance and extraction and the whole consistency of it.

Alexis......I normally use the coil at 680 for either the stock Elev8r bowl or my smaller adapter one. I use the bigger one for sativa's or whispy flowers. I can get pretty dark ABV with these temps on both bowls.

As for the quartz....well I want it bad! Why.....because my heater did not last long. I want to know that I have a vape that can last like a flowerpot if possible.

I think possibly the temps my hold longer in the quartz...so it could be better if you need/want to take quicker draws back to back. We will have to see how this turns out....maybe it wont be too much of a difference? I'm not sure as I have never dabbed or use quartz in vaping prior to this new Elev8r heater coming out soon.

I'm SO excited for the quartz. We will finally be able to really dial in our temps with cool downs.

I love this vape. My only issue is getting consistent results. The quartz should offer better results due to the heat retention.

Thanks for getting this done @7thFloorVapes

No doubt...THANKS @7thFloorVapes !

Do you guys think the quartz will be more expensive? If so, about how much?

I have no idea...but I am guessing at least $10 more.

has anyone else experienced almost like a rust colored ring? It almost looks like the screen oxidized or rusted around the edges? I am going to ISO and clean the whole thing and switch to a New Vape titanium screen and see what happens

Hey bro hope all is good in your woods. Thats cool to hear you still enjoy using the Elev8r, an ongoing testament with some pretty decent alternative options.
I definitely hear you on the consistency that was a killer for me in the end my brain function is so compromised and varies so much that from session to session it was so unpredictable an dun replicable for me to get a consistent decent hits without combusting too often, hitting it too harsh and killing the load with less effects, or underheating and beong unsatisfied.

Then, damn well combusting the next hit trying to make amends. :argh:
So I have completely stopped using the torch altogether now and to be honest I'm a little bit afraid of it Lol.

But this is the marvelous magic of the coil. Bang on consistency every time. Perfect hits at any temp range, and I only see at most a 3° temp drop during the longest hits. Vapor just doesnt drop off during a hit until it is exhausted at that temp. Too easy to overhit, and I do so very often.

The torch was a nice "limiter" here. I must leatn not to be like a desperate dog who feels like vapor is so scarce I must gulp every available bit, while it is available. I like the big hits though, I and I know you do very much yourself @Danksta .

I hope the quartz heaters step this vaporizer up for you exactly as you are hoping, and some more!

Have a great rest of the week bro.

Edit- forgot to say the very first monster hits of the day coming up right now. Gorgeous lemon Think Different pheno. A real consciousness uplifter.:)

Ever since my first cleaning I learnt not to do a final rinse off with warm water after the iso soak. The next day my screen was full of rust and I torched it clean. Still never changed that screen but I never let them go near water again. So far haven't noticed it happening again.

After a few days of waiting it's finally here. Shipping of the elev8r and the big buddy from England to mainland Europe went pretty smooth. I'm am going to stop my 3 week tolerance break tomorrow with this vape. I noticed that in the top knob(?) of the heating element (the one closest to the intake) there is a lot of fracturing. Is this normal or not? The rest of the heating element looks pretty flawless.

Jesus christ, why didn't anyone warn me about the Big Buddy?

Love this thing. 45 sec on big buddy lowest is too hot. the slightest burn. This thing is so easy to learn and it hits you so hard.

With torching.....your water unit and bowl setup will have a good effect on your "possible roasting" issues. You will notice a dark spot in the center of the load if you either had too much heat.....or too much draw pressure used. (i tend to stir after every draw as I am a taste snob at the least...) I see a lot of difference when I switch around to my various sized and types of water units. Sometimes when I switch between them....I have to pause and recall how the draw pressure or time of draw works best for that particular piece of glass. But now since I use a drop down on almost all my rigs.....it has evened out the differences some because of the added volume and more ease to use a slower draw and get better vapor.

A trick I learned here on the board that someone else mentioned, after you torch it....give it 3-5 seconds before you draw on it. Sometimes, especially on the first heating....this is a good technique to use. Also, you can easily learn how hot you just torched it by holding the back of your hand about 3-5 inches from the heater...then remember that amount of heat you feel radiating from the torching and match it with the strength of vapor or amount of vapor that hit got.

Sometimes I totally F up and after a few draws.......I loose my timing on heating it up and can save myself from charring the load by testing the heat with the back of my hand before I draw. Usually I have a harder time on the 2nd...3rd.....4th.....+ draws to get the time of torching just right.

So after you use the Elev8r more.....you will become more in-tune to getting a more consistent torching.

When using it in my bong the heater is about 2 to 3 inches away from my face. Is that a problem?

Can the temprature change from inhaling fresh air thru a hot heater make it chip a piece straight into my face?
