As I said before. I just wrote him an email quoting that I missed to leave the message during the order and a few days later got the refund of ~6 $ via PayPal. Mails always take some time to be answered though.

My stem has finally been shipped - yay :D. I'm afraid they will get stuck in customs....

Yeah that 4/20 sale destroyed Funky :rip:

Suddenly the 3 month wait for a Nomad doesn't seem so bad!

I ordered just before 4/20, in lieu of savings, in order to receive my Tubo before the storm hit haha

@little maggie you are not alone! I also ordered the long wooden stem. I only use my Tubo as a portable so this is going to be hilarious. :myday: <- look how long it is! I'm excited!

I'll come back for a small bent or medium though.

Now I need to buy a S&B magazine with capsules, which would be a good time since they are reduced right now here: https://www.sneakypetestore.com/products/magazine-w-dosing-capsules?variant=300644270086

Another long wooden stem purchaser here. I expect I’ll be back for a medium or short and a bent glass insert. I ordered the cooler also, and I’m looking forward to seeing how it compares to using a whip.

Its bordering on ridiculous...I’m still on a Nomad honeymoon, and ordered a Stempod a couple days ago. Now more Tubo accessories. Maybe I just have too much time on my hands. Or maybe some very creative people are advancing vaping technology at a fast pace. I’ll go with the latter. Yeah, that’s the ticket.

What is a stempod? (Never mind I found it. Please please don't mention new vapes here that I wouldn't notice if not mentioned. I don't need another box mod vape attachment. I don't. Really.) I did get a refund.:) I'm waiting for my nomad but the tubo is so simple to use that another vape will have a hard time competing. I didn't realize how powerful it was until I started using the fury 2 for short sessions. When I put it away to start using the tubo again I found that I used so much less to get a stronger effect. I never use my double battery tubo (I forgot how to change it back to single) but I'm going to try it again later today.

I was just being playful!

And I too am excited to try out the stems. Nice work @funkyjunky, @Aezhenn and @Padriano.
Sorry if you have misunderstood me Duff, which I wonder from your reply. I am a joker but very often my humour is misinterpreted. I know you were joking as I was in return, not being flippant or questioning you at all. Just to be clear bro, have a great Saturday.

I'm new to capsules- just got some yesterday from the fury folk. I tried it with my tubo today and, although too small to stay in without a screen cover, it worked fine. I know that some of you have been using capsules. Which ones are you finding the best. I'm just trying things out while waiting for the stem and cooler order from FJ.

My initial thoughts using the tubo mighty stems over the past week.

I purchased small and medium stems,I prefer the medium with the cooling insert and straight glass and looks super cool on my funky jungle limited edition Tubo.Reason for this is The vapor is cooler on the medium but both do work great with the mighty caps.Max temp I have gone is 420 and abv is very similar in consistency to the mighty but obviously darker as the tubo goes higher in temp.

I fill the caps full with a slight tamp just like I normally do when using dosing caps with the mighty, Ive only had one cap upto now that had a hot spot which I think could Of been from drawing to hard ?I do believe after tinkering with the setup alittle more you won’t need to stir at all as I’ve only had to do it once with the issue pointed out above.

Looking forward for others to get there’s now and give there opinions. I 100% think most will enjoy them,as it makes things so much easier.

3 month wait? I think it was a couple of years for the Zion.
Anyway, they have all size stems in the store now. I wish I'd waited a few days. But I'm hoping that I won't need to use a whip or water with the large wood stem. Can't wait.

My short stem (with glass and cooler) just arrived! I don’t have a Tubo, but will be testing it out in my Milaana and Lil Bud tonight.
It looks and feels great in the hand, and it looks like you can maneuver the glass stem to make an even longer vapor path. Very excited to try it out in a couple of hours!

never wanted to beat that one ;)
i just logged in to spread how happy i am with my tubo after almost a year now!
It's not only super efficient (~0.03 grams can be well sufficient :science:) but also a beautiful designed device!
changing batteries, setting temp and clicking with this kinda oldschool mp3-player feeling or devices of this time :D

Also having the power over all the settings is so nice, I dialed it down to 60Watt lately since 'device too hot' doesn't occure really this way and I suppose the battery gets a bit less load aswell (which leads to lower temps of cause also).
Still keeping up with those hard rips :hmm::tup::rockon:

Man that dude on reddit who pointed me here deserves some reddit gold maybe :D

While I also like and used the Vapcap a lot it couldn't replace this experience.
Thanks funkyjunky for inventing them! ;)

edit: just noticed this was my 100th message :D
edit2: it's also been quite nice with this forum since then :)

:peace:

@leveltree glad to have you aboard.

Stay tuned to this "channel" as @funkyjunky is a serious innovator and I can not wait until his next installment in the Tubo thread.

Anyone have fitment issues with stems? Both large and medium rock side to side when in the tubo and I almost expected them to sit higher in the the glass, I almost want to put a little duck tape on it, also the glass isn't supposed to be able to be removed correct?

@wall I have some side to side play with my medium wooden stem as well. Tried it in the Splinter too with the same result. Still seems to make enough contact inside the female joint that it seals properly and doesn’t affect vapor production.

Not sure if it’s designed to be removed but I was able to remove the glass insert prior to using it. But, now that I have a few packs through it I can’t remove it (not trying with a lot of force though).

Outside of the middling fitment I’m really digging the wooden stem. I like using the dosing capsules for a quick unload/reload and the a-maze cooler really does seem to help cool the vapor down a lot. I’m able to take comfortable rips at 405F, which typically leave me coughing with the 4” straight stems I have. I’d say it’s close to, if not on par with the vapor “coolness” I get when using the DDave Vapor Cooler stem dry. Love the look of it on the Tubo, too!
