Cannabis Hardware (formerly NewVape) FlowerPot Twax Vaporizer

Anybody have or had a "LOG" vape? I have an Underdog that I hit through water exclusively but I'm trying to decide if the Flowerpot is worth the upgrade? In terms of vapor quality.

I had a WoodScents for a while that I loved. The FlowerPot was a big upgrade for me, primarily because of the improved airflow, but also because I prefer the all glass/titanium approach. I'd say they're roughly equivalent when it comes to efficiency, but the FP has the advantage that you can load micro to large bowls with the same extraction. That said, the log form factor and aesthetic is hard to beat, especially if you want to be somewhat discreet... which is about the only con to the FP, in my opinion.

I have Five UDs and a HI. SC1, SC2, Mini, Micro, and Alpha. (Glass Core HI) In terms of potency, the UDs can get me the same place as the FP SH, but will take a bit longer to get there due to the amount of material you can vape at once.

Honestly the Alpha UD (18mm stem can hold .25) can hit me just as hard as the SH but has a lot more draw restriction. I much prefer using it on the couch since I have a lot less to worry about with a log vape in comparison to a huge hunk of hot Ti.

It's hard to answer your actual question of vapor quality because there are so many characteristics and usage patterns to consider. (voltage, stem used (nong vs gong), draw speed, draw restriction, etc etc) What do you enjoy about what you currently have, but feel you are missing out on?

I feel like im missing out on being able to pack a fat bowl and just get blasted instead of gradually taking hits to reach that point

Would you say you could load the same size bowl from an UD on the FP and get a decent hit or is microdosing not really a thing?

Yes, sorry, I meant the FP can handle anything from micro doses to large bowls with the same efficiency as a log vape. That's my experience with the ShowerHead, anyway, I'll know more about what the VROD is capable of in a week or so.

Cool, I really like the efficiency aspect of the LOG and wouldn't want to lose out on it. Thanks for the help.

The Flowerpot will definitely let you pack a fat a bowl and get ripped in one or two hits. You pack crumbs in the Flowerpot and still get a nice hit from it.

Thanks for the confirmation, I think I'll be picking up a VROD. Do you know where I can buy The sic dish? it's been sold out on their site for the longest and I heard the quartz dish isn't that good.

Yup the VROD will definitely do just that and allow for twaxing to take it to a completely different level. If flavor is an issue, definitely start twaxing with the same strain for both.

DNAIL factory second is the way to go at the moment.

After reading through about 60 pages or so of VROD talk, and waffling several hours on whether to upgrade or just get a second nail+SiC dish for concentrates exclusively... I decided to pull the trigger on the VROD.

Yeah, I've been in the same spot and I just closed the newvape tab for the second time. I don't think I have the refined palate likelsome of you and my showerhead flowerpot setup is pretty much absolutely perfect for my needs. After the initial financial investment in the showerhead it's hard to justify upgrading or changing for the cost for something I fear I am likely not to appreciate proportionally.

Then again, I didn't expect there to be much of a difference between using dry water adaptors versus WA which have water and I vastly prefer the dry experience. I need a rich friend to influence and manipulate....

If you use concentrates much, how much better the cleaning experience is with SiC should be reason enough alone!

so nice to just swab out with distilled water q-tip and to always have an immaculately clean dish :)

Does anyone have experiences with the D-Nail SiC Halo AND the D-Nail Sapphire insert?
Is it worth the additional investment for taste's sake and what's about the effort of cleaning it after use. Just qtipping like the pure SiC seems not to be sufficient?

So after a lengthy rather uncomfortable discussion at the customs office I finally picked up my discounted vrod last friday. The girl just started working there wanted to be super correct and at first told me she couldnt hand it out to me. Reason for that would be new strict guidlines for importing anything related to vaporizers. Already saw my 250€+ down the drain..got lucky I guess.

@newvape918 - maybe you should look into these new guidlines when shipping to europe. There was a thread somewhere by @Hogni about that, but I cant find it.

Anyways vrod works great. I'm using a basket screen in my bowl post instead of the normal larger diameter screen and cant see any darker spots or rings (v1).

OK FREEDOM lovers... who took advantage of the 15% discount code?

I ordered the battery pack and frame, another controller, coil, handle, and another bowl with both 14mm and 18mm adapters. My favorite desktop vaporizer just got a lot more portable. I was on fence about getting a press ... holding out for a bigger sale.

Yep, here we go

New EU regulations on cross-boarder trade of vapes!!

It doesn't regard to vaporizers generally but to all devices whose purpose is vaping e-liquids.

It's an indeterminate legal concept therefore it could be related to a simple spoon too. @vapman got in troubles bc one of his vids - which customers watched - told you can use it with "liquids" too.

But as I told in the called thread. If I'd be a manufacturer/vendor who does cross-border trades to or within the EU I'd let me register in the EU countries where it is possible as a precaution.

I had the same problem I told the customs that it is not a vape... that it is an aroma therapy device... and had no problems... I can not remember but I think the problem was that newvape was written as the sender on the package and the customs thougt it is something e-cig related... maybe they should not use the term vape on the package...

@BTW I wish there would be the possibilty to use the showerhead with bags... I am not the diy guy but if I could I would do it myself... so tomsay a station where you could but the showerhead and blow bags... an air pump where you can adjust how fast air is blown trough the showerhead... this would be really great... if I imagine a volcano bag with big fat tasty showerhead vapor that would be great... I sometimes miss the possibilty to lay on the couch watch tv and take some puffs and do not have to get up and to my desk to use my showerhead...

and I also wish there would be a real portable (small) discrete vape from fp which gives you great tasty clouds exectly like the sh but in an portable form...

ok is stop dreaming now...

My Stevenlmz 18mm glass bowls arrived today, about ten minutes ago.

Some how I ordered SIX accidentally, plus I have I think three on the way from NV themselves :D

First impressions were great on looks but I really dont care for the fitting once the VRod head is on. Theres just too much give and the coil needs holding in place the whole time or there is a massive air leak from the head leaning too much.

Its not a huge deal, and maybe I'll like it over time (gonna use it for a few days and see whats what), but considering how much I wanted glass bowls and kept going on about glass bowls, I'm not really that arsed about the final result! :) Be careful what you wish for, or keep banging on about, cuz it might not be worth it in the end! :D

I've also removed my rev. b centre hole plug, for my own usage its just unnecessary. So now I've got 8 rev b plugs and 4 glass bowls that I dont need and a hatred of clutter :)

EDIT: Getting the NV glass bowls tomorrow, itll be an interesting compare and contrast.

I told them that it isnt for e liquids. It seemed like they were ok with that until they found this

flyer in my package. I think saying that it is an aroma therapy device is really the safest bet if bothered by customs. Just exclude anything that shows that its capable of doing liquids. :2c:

Anyways vrod is here and I'm happy. Peace

Yep, should be avoid in the interest of European customers.
And they are listing devices which are suspicious for further informations for customs.

So nearly never one of these fucking shiny green envelopes of DV comes through customs anymore w/o taxes and customs fee.

...Customs can be a pain in the .... - and i have to say in Germany sitting in the Office, browsing the web and explaining what you got send is not for the faint hearted.... at least my nerves don t like it too much so i stick to ordering from europe.
Which is sad sometimes... and another Argument for more european resellers!!!

Have a great day!

I believe you will find that the Stevelmz79 and the ones resold by NV are actually different products. Same purpose, but different manf and characteristics.
