No, in that pic its on the WA, it doesn't fit the larger head of the sic cap on the vrod.

I also found that some of the 4" dabbers overbalance the caps when horizontal, so I use those vertical but the 3" I still have on the side.

Argh! I did not foresee the old misinterpretation event! It was merely for the illustration of what 'horizontal' means :)

Interesting. FWIW, I have the four inch ball point dabber on the VRod carb cap and it has no balance issues. I think this is another reason I stuck with the showercaps, I didnt like how light and airy the combocap felt.

Thats why I love it! :)

I think how tiny it is, and how thin the stem its attached to is, are what makes it so good for not having much oil travel up the dabber.

Its my favourite dabber for sure, but admittedly my sample group has been very limited (to less than 10 dabbers in my entire life probably :) ).

The big scoop dabber is now my bowl handle :)

Which is what I think I'm doing with this tiny ball point, if I'm understanding you correctly. If you bought your new dabbers online, do you have a link please? I am intrigued. I've always mentally discarded the idea of the pencil dabbers but never used one. Same with a glass dabber, I want a few that I've seen but I just see myself breaking one so quickly :(

That's great new's i couldn't agree more on this one, But yeah certainly have someone there to turn the giant burning hot mass of metal off as you quickly exit your body.



I didn't get my v-rod order in yet but am a bit closer. I basically have to get a entire new kit since i'm running my Sh on a Kube one with d-nail coil, So i for now ordered the new Vapecode set from Nv. I probably won't get just everything i need next order either. I kinda skimped on the safety stuff like handle and stand. I use a metal condiment container inside a cookie tin to set the hot nail, And for the handle well that's bamboo sticks gorilla taped. :doh: I did however at least order one handle this time. I may get the V-rod carb cap next order if it will fit the Sh. Can someone that has both see if the V-rod carb cap will fit the Sh?

So... between the SH and VROD, the WA is pretty much of no use to me anymore. Anyone still using their WA?

Also...I noticed with the glass bowls, I need to go higher in temp to get the same abv than with the TI bowl

Speaking of... does anyone have both, the stevenlmz bowl and the one @Justpassedu linked, and can tell us if the VROD fits just as unevenly on both? Super uneven on the stevenlmz bowls.

I retired my WA myself and strictly use the Vrod now with Dnail Sic halo. It is the perfect all in 1 for me. As for the glass bowls you definitely need to bump up temp a bit to match the Ti bowl extraction and still I am finding it a bit slower but I will say the flavor difference is a bit noticeable, happens to be really nice using the glass one & if you grind fine using the glass 1 it will still milk my glass pretty quickly. I happen to still use both the ti & glass. Glass more if I wanna sit down , relax and have a nice long tasty session and Ti if I just want some quick milky rips. I have yet to try the one stevenlmz is making but I am content with what I have and like the thicker glass on the 1 I have as well from what I have seen. As for fitment I got a bit of wiggle using my glass bowl but nothing major at all, pretty much the same as my ti bowl. I wish it did not wiggle as much to be honest but going any larger may cause some fusing when hot.

Neither the LolliCap nor the ShowerCap fit the VRod well, they both kind of slide off. I did not try the VRod cap with the ShowerHead, sorry! (And I've sold my ShowerHead so I can't check.) I suspect it will be a similar misfit.

Yeah they are. Follow folks like @tjoewell on Instagram and you'll find much better deals, unless you want something specific Sherbet carries.

vrod carb cap fits on showerhead, but the cap sits IN the showerhead dish..

so if you have used the dish to dab off of, your vrod carb cap will be sitting in that. it does cover the 19 holes in the center though.

the showercap carb cap does fit on the vrod, however it is a bit too large in diameter, and if you're not holding onto it, it doesnt really sit well/wants to fall off.

Hey guys, so a High5 coil pin out is not the same as my standard Omron Pid based enail is it? I was going to grad a high5 coil, but then remembered something @Baron23 mentioned a while back about them being different and that's why he got an Auber and or an Omron. Is this true or did they fix that?

Nope, it sure isn't but now they are offering coil adapters that cross connect the pins.

I believe that this is the one you want to adapt a HighFive controller to a D-nail type coil pin out

And I do still have my Auber and my Omron that @mutten840 helped me get fixed up.

What happened to your G9 Omron. Once we fixed mine up with an SSR and rewired it, the Omron works like a champ.

Not a thing, My Omron is on for at least 18 hours a day since purchase, works perfectly. Still has the original 20mm coil attached! that's why I thought I would grab a spare.

I have both and I use the one that NewVape now stocks pretty much exclusively. The Vrod head sis flatter and fits better. At least on the ones in my possession. They also just seem to be a little bit better made imo.

I have been religiously cleaning my VRod after each dab (I shout HAIL SATAN every clean). Last night I forgot for one dab and went to bed. I've gone to give the SiC dish a clean today and theres SO MUCH filth coming off this thing. It certainly wasnt visible to the naked eye but im four cotton buds in and black carbon is still coming off this thing.

Anyway, I'm purely using water poured out of a recently boiled kettle and some Glob Mops cotton buds. The SiC dish is cleaning really easily, no need for any ISO or any scraping.

Gonna be interesting to see if the flavour has improved after this clean.
