Looks like a unique concept & design and I couldn't find a thread so :D

Looks pretty interesting, I like the replacable/dismantable/removable heating element!

A ton of features , on demand/session modes, 3 chambers to vape on the same time (????!!!), no grind needed (), heat recycler (pre-heat the fresh air and cool down the vapor in the same time, very, very smart feature imo!!), removable hybrid heater and firmware upgrade!

I'm waiting for a V-Leaf from @HindelangGG (second hand) and I like my Alternate despite it's breaking everywhere!

Yeah it'd be interesting to see the reviews on this.. I mean you can mix your stuff without a 3 chamber separation, personally I won't be buying it but I can see how VAS addicts will :D

Also, there might be interest from hamsters or the guy that makes meals for hamsters on youtube (yeah that's a thing) using it on 200F as a conventional oven for a quick meal :p

I still love my Alternate. It cracked like I'm pretty sure every other Alternate on the planet did but it's still a great vape. Other than plastic quality I'd say just as good as a Crafty for a fraction of the price. The last mouthpiece revision has held up with no cracking for months, and I feel like if they fixed that issue this could actually be a pretty decent vape. I'll be keeping my eye on it for sure.

The feature list is quite enticing for sure.
Some solid ideas and choices.

I've been wanting to try a mostly conduction hybrid capable of sessions for some time now, and the Rift seems promising.
I was always tempted by the Alternate, but never quite pulled the trigger, and then other vapes emerged to tempt me elsewhere .
This looks like it could well be special though! (it'll need to be, considering the competition nowadays).

The 'captive' battery doesn't bother me at all (I'd get a power bank).

I wonder if @Vivant is planning a WPA?

I'll need a couple of good reviews before I shell out myself though

Fascinating. Will it lean more on the conduction or convection side? I imagine there's no independant temp control for each section of the oven?

there's no independant control.
I believe it's mostly conduction, but it's hard to tell.

Since there's obviously no control over the temp in the different chamber sections, I wonder how it's supposed to work with both concentrate and herb at the same time (like in the pic)? Since these materials are vaped at different temps :freak:

Don't forget to post your video review here :D

Thanks for sharing!!
There are a few more pictures and editorial details about the RIFT on my website.

Their marketing material states that weed doesn't need to be ground up. I'll be testing that this week on instagram.
Sharing is caring :p

I really like the design on this device.. the form factor, the materials and the magnetic mouthpiece
Ironically, what this device mainly stands out for - the partitioned chamber - is a gimmick in my eyes, for someone who only vapes herb it isn't useful and looks like a hassle to mess with.

Just want to point out that they say this is a hybrid vaporizer. When many of us hear hybrid vaporizer we think convection/conduction heating.

Their usage of "hybrid" is different than mine.

I disagree with you on that last part. I think the 3 part separated oven would work very well for a much better even extraction without stirring. It comes at a bit of a cost for the ease of use maybe....?

About how much flower is used for filling up all 3 chambers?

Anyone else had the opportunity to try the Rift?

It'll be intriguing to see what other bowl designs Vivant offers, any word on that?

I guess this vape is officially released now.

I've wrapped up my review on the final version of the RIFT.
It's a complicated vape, or at least my opinion of it is complicated.

There's a written version on 420vapezone

Cliffs notes:
- on demand conduction is FAST and interesting
- vapor reminds me of vapcap, hearty and robust
- concentrate mode is messy but surprisingly functional
- triple bowl = fast extraction
- triple bowl = pain in the ass to load and unload

Vape works well but the bowl design just kills the experience for me.
