Thanks everyone for the well wishes.

I’m going to concentrate on transportation. Up Tech is investing in the transportation business.

So if you see a big rig on the road with the words Utopia Planitia Express that’s us.

Can’t be a Futurama fan without our space ship.

@invertedisdead we have tested non porous silicon carbide versions of the 1701 and found that it is very fragile. We are working on it and it might be a possibility in the future. As of right now one of the 1701’s will be a quartz version.

Also want to note that 1 more coil is in the works for the Triton which will bring the total to 6 coils. It will be the most versatile system out there for all types of coil concentrates.

Any updates you can give on the timeline we can expect?

What's the difference between the OS, HS and SVR? I have no idea what those are short for. Thanks in advance for clarification.

Will I need to buy my own battery for this? If so, which one would you recommend? All that I have currently is the Omicron v4 - no box mod. Just the battery that came with it. Also, can I “upgrade” to save money? Or is that just for new Omicrons? Thanks for the help.

Hey Swisher I answered your question on Reddit but I’ll answer it here as well, because it’s a really good question.

The Triton is not designed to work with any version of the Omicron, it just doesn’t have enough power and will create a strain on the battery that even the HD version might not like.

Any mod on the block that can do 20-50 watts should be fine but the better ones can run it in TC but I’m not holding my breath on it.

Our Persei prototypes have nonissue with it on TC

Thanks for the reply. I figured I’d post on both, in case anyone who is just on one of the communities had a similar question. Rough idea on when the Persei battery will be ready? I’ll probably go that route.

Unfortunately the market doesn’t like quality products because they demand higher prices and we simply can’t compete with the $30 mods China is pushing out every day.

I can’t say at all when it will be available but I’m still in process of fixing minor bugs in the software.

Will these use inserts at all? Just saw Source is working with Eternal and they basically got portable buckets. Is that what this system is about?

You mean like our 1701 with the SiC insert? Something like that?

Not quite.

Oh ya our inserts are quartz, or Titanium grade 2, on top of that you get 2 titanium grade 2 versions of our original SiC inserts for the v3 1701.

This means a bucket with a round to Gr 2 pad that goes inside of the bucket to hold oils.

Where are the inserts on the site?

I dunno, that Source system looks different from yours.

They got XXL inserts too.

LMK because I'd rather support you guys but their system looks better than what you currently offer. I don't want oil touching the coil. I'd like an insert bucket system that fits a mod like they are coming out with.

Is the Triton closer to that? The more information you guys can share the better. I get your gotta protect your ideas but more transparency would help.

Triton and that new Source system are about the same cost from the looks too.

Take a look at the link I provided on my list post. The oil does not touch any of the heating wires on the 1701 at all, the insert is like the 1701v2 insert but made from Ti gr2.

The dish itself is removable and the coil rebuildable.

They might be priced the same but quality is different as ours are rebuildable and contain no plastics or silicone parts.

A bucket that goes over heater, and a insert to keep oils in bucket is what our system is.

It looks similar to the source one you shown plus we have other things coming out for the Triton. Now that I have the full production version I can start on my accessories.

You will be happy.

So the Triton will use quartz inserts?

The other appeal of the Source is the XXL size. Truly a dab rig in your pocket.
