I run my volcano through a bubbler bottle via tubing and fill the bags off a nozzle mounted on the top.
Huge difference way smoother and never any visible condensation in the bags.
The bags stay completely clean the clouds are huge and effects are potent not sure why stor z and bickel doesnt make one themselves.

Wow that sounds interesting, I always had "sticky bags" with my 'Cano!

10-15 years after trying the volcano for the first time, I've finally pulled the trigger!

I'm curious if I got a good price. I'm in canada and got it for $531+tax for classic volcano+easy valve starter kit.

Been using a mighty daily for a year now and absolutely love it.

In the meantime, while I’m waiting for my obsidian to arrive, I use a water pipe with the volcano balloon. Does anybody know of a doodad or something to make the balloon stay on the pipe so I don’t have to manually hold it the whole time?

I posted this a bit ago.. I used this before my Magma

Yeah man use a 14 to 14 Male joint adapter. They fit snug at the mouthpiece.

And I just purchased it with expedited shipping. I cannot tell you how excited I am to receive this. My hands hurt so darn bad trying to hold the balloon onto the pipe. And even though I ordered an Obsidian, I realized that I will still want to use the water pipe just to provide a further level of filtering. I’m still pretty young and so I could easily have another 40 or 50 or more years of vaping ahead of me… I need to pamper these lungs as much as I can.

Lol for real. Trying to heal the 10+ years of damage I did to myself combusting.. AND smoking cigarettes.

Literally as soon as I got my Volcano I stopped combusting. I mean I still will with friends and people who still burn, but this is far and few in between — Personally now I prefer vaping. It’s more efficient, tastier and I get MUCH more medicated.

Every friend that I’ve had try my Volcano or Mighty has either purchased at least one vaporizer or stopped combusting altogether.

Been vaping for (about) a year now.

This looks like a game changer, does it make the bags that much cooler/better? Also it looks like it only works with the EZ valve which is a bummer cause I have the solid valve, I would love to pick one of these up

I haven’t received it yet, I will definitely provide a review when I do. I believe they’re hoping to ship it out in the next five or six weeks. I can tell you just using a water pipe with the balloon makes a huge difference. I have both the solid valve and ez valve, and I just press the lip part to the opening to the water pipe and use it like that. It makes a very very very big difference in the comfort of the vapor. However, it does reduce some of the taste just in case that’s an issue for you. At least in my experience.

On a sidenote, since I received the ez valve, I haven’t touched the solid valve. It’s that much better. If you can, I would highly recommend changing over.

Do you remember the “WOW!” you got from your first bag off a Volcano??

That’s how much of a changer it is..
It’ll make you fall in love with it again.

@arthritisbites - no limit eh?
how about mounting the cano on top of some Bang & Olufsen Beolab 5 speakers
Ha! That’s an awesome idea. Ok, maybe not the 5 figure speakers, but it’s actually not a bad idea to put a little Bluetooth speaker in there - I currently listen to music with my phone’s speakers. This room is definitely turning into my “mom cave”. I think I need a margarita machine and a hot tub too! I would never leave the house again!!:brow:

Hi guys - just got a digit and am a bit surprised vs my usual daily driver herbalizer. Are there some must have accessories with the goal of denser bags and better efficiency? Right now I feel the bags are about 40-60% dense, when I'm used to herbalizer bags so dense they can completely block out bright lights behind them. I always use herbie at max temp, so I did the same with a pretty darn huge bowl of nicely dried and finely ground - perhaps 80% full volcano bowl. The bag was only moderately dense and the second bag was light 15% dense. I crushed the contents and reloaded at max temp and got nothing much.

Any pro tips out there to help me get better satisfaction? So far it feels like a gas guzzler compared to my usual.

I'm thinking the reducer could help. Maybe the pods too? Any recommendations from gurus would be much appreciated!

Guys I just bought a used Volcano for 160€. Assuming the sellers description it should look and work perfectly. Optical condition seems good and the device also heats up. But I have the strange feeling that the air flow is way too weak. When I turn on the air and put a sheet of paper on top of it barely moves + you dont feel much when holding your hand above it.

I dont think this is normal but maybe I'm wrong? Can somebody confirm the weakness of the airflow? Thanks a lot!!!

I get extremely milky bags at 375...........did you buy a used unit?

Sounds weak it should take roughly thirty seconds to fill a bag.

Getting the hang of it - I just blew four bags at 375, 375, 420, and max and the intensity is quite nice and different than the herbalizer - or maybe it's because I have been without it for a few days now. It will be nice to compare when it comes back. I guess setting it to max just doesn't work so well - this one needs a more refined touch. Sorry for the snap judgment - I should give it a few more days :):)

The amount of the vegetable material is the same? The same temperature? This two elements are very important to have dense vapor

Folks. Too much herb in a volcano chamber will make for harsh vapor.
Too much heat will do the same thing.

When you are starting out try heating with the knob just past 12 oclock and use about 1/4 teaspoon herbs.

The vapor should be some what whispy very flavorful and super smoth. Take things up and more or less from there.

Good luck.

I usually fill to the bevel and set at 6 on the dial for full flavorful bags.
Conservation is meaningless my focus is full medical effects and for me that way seems to be the best balance.
When I use a bubbler I turn it up to seven for flower and all the way for oil.........love it.

It depends on what sized bag you're using too. You have to match bag size to the amount of herb you typically load.

This is a factor to consider.

Are you using stock, 2ft Bags?? Or a custom sized smaller one??

In my experience using the stock, EZ Bag (2ft) the first bag is always whispy but the 2nd and 3rd are always a nice color. They don’t tend to get too much denser from there.

Using the reducer with the same 2’ Bags I get denser vapor on the first bag and even denser vapor on the 2nd. I will sometimes run a (whispy) 3rd one, but that depends on how fresh my nug is.

There was a time when I was going to get the Herbalizer instead of my Volcano.. how else do they compare? Vapor quality and Water Pipe Attachments specifically.

I can load .3 g in an easy valve, crank my Digit up to 446 F, and milk two bags.

I hate to say this, but perhaps your unit or your herb????

Also, let it heat sink for a while. If you look inside a Volcano, the heater is in a big ass aluminum heat sink. I find all vapes of that type work better if you let them warm up and then sit for a bit.

Cheers
