Discontinued Haze Square

The boiling point temperature charts are great, but if the flower doesn't have all those terps and compounds, it doesn't matter what the temp is.

I'm leaning towards vaping the bud as I would smoking... getting the full effect of the actual flower strain. That might mean a temp of about 410, but maybe start at 390 for the first couple hits (for flavor), then keep it at 410-420 for the rest. All subject to change, but I'm trying to keep things as simple as possible.

A lot of people usually prefer this way especially if they are vaping or smoking for recreational use. I thought I would add the information for people that don't like the sedative effects that vaping at high temps can cause. I use it medicinally so I'm usually looking for specific strains that provide the right compounds for what I need. You are right though, it makes it a lot easier when you are just looking to get the full extraction from the bud.

On a random note I’ve noticed after 2 nights using the square it makes me real thirsty. I usually have a beer when I vape and damn I was chugging back my Bud.

On the note of temperature I do enjoy lower temps for the morning or day. I rather get mild effects and be able to continue on with my day rather than getting super stoned from full effect of the bud.

I agree it’s all in technique and all that but when your unit has issues then all the technique in the world doesn’t matter. If it was me then I get it but it’s instant..they said on next phase they will send a new one..I asked if that my only option and no word..I have plenty of vapes but was gonna go for on demand convection and chose this over ghost mv and I wanna love this vape but so far I don’t.

Wait till you have a working one. Trust me bro. I know it sucks. I completely understand. You have a broken one and are not enjoying it. If I didn’t like mine I wouldn’t post about it. But after 2 days I know how to use it and I’m getting vapor and ripped off my ass. Give it a chance with a proper working unit and it will change how you view it.

Will also say that the screen and bowl clean real easily with just a cotton swab and some iso. May not need to deep clean all that often if you wipe each chamber down after a couple of bowls

Sorry if this is a big post but I did some research and picked out some ideal vaping temps for my haze square (when it arrives). I thought someone on here would appreciate the info if anyone is using for medicinal purposes or would like a customized experience.
Yes, and that chart will be helpful if you are vaping pure samples of the individual compounds in a vacuum.

Got to check the footnotes of the original science studies for the conditions. I see they list them at the bottom of the chart but I believe that even those sites are data derived from other original work.

Have any other pro users changed their temp settings only to have the device not fast charge over the usb-c adapter? Haze said I could send mine in but I am not ready to part with my Square just yet. I've tried the new firmware to no luck. It charged great out of box but my computer must've messed something up.

I will be changing my temps tonight. I don’t know what to change them to. But I intend to do it. To confirm, you cannot use the charging square and can only charge through the computer?

I am currently using the black cable that comes with the pro and a spare phone wall plug. The fast charger is not working at all.

Your vape not recognizing it at all? Well I will try and report back.

Now on a side note, how you liking your vape? You, me and a few others who have been very active lately have been enjoying it very much. I just wanted to confirm that you are minus the charging issue. Good high? Good vapor production? I feel phase 1 users have trickled off and got fet up with their unit. For new comers reading this thread I think they should be aware that the kinks are truly getting worked out.

I don't know which chart you are referring to but both were made for people that vaporize marijuana. There is more information that you can read about by visiting these links:

I am enjoying this one. It's definitely not a vape for a new vaporist it indeed has kinks as it's only in phases as of now. Aside from having to pack monster bowls I love the quality of vapor. The hits are not harsh to me and full of flavor. Lots of potential here. Having 4 chambers ready to go is nice. Just need to get used to the maintenance. If Haze develops a can system of the sort like with the Dual and allows you to microdose it will be grand.

Is there a Mac version for the square yet or away to download it to ios?

It doesn't have bluetooth so I think iOS is out of the question. I'm pretty sure they are waiting on approval from Apple on the macOS application.

Haze mentioned getting the app to android which would almost imply a mobile app. I don't know where they were going with that though.

Apple app coming out soon.

I concur, not a vape for a new vaporist. However I don’t believe any on demand convection is. You need to do some of the work. Like driving a manual car. I thought I made a bad choice on the first night. Was upset. But second night loved it. But yes the monster bowls are crazy. But eh we don’t need to vape the full bowl in a single session.

I wonder if you will just plug the vape into your phone to change settings then eh? Interesting stuff

Well Apple has a store just like the Microsoft store. So just because it’s on the Apple store doesn’t mean it’s onlt iOS compatible. It could be Mac computer compatible. They would need to release a new cable with the lightening and usb C. Be a weird cable haha.

I just read apple is shipping phones with USB C cables and might switch over. Would be pretty odd for them to do that

Well that’s news to me. I’m a big Apple fan. I love them. Just haven’t bought a new MacBook. Any phone capability with the app for the vape would be unreal.

However I still stand by my request for usuage timers and how long you spend on each setting. Would teach you a lot about your usuage.

Also, I wish this thing had a logo. I kinda liked the logo the first prototype had.

It sucks that phase 1 users have trickled off and that it seems that device gets better but then the 1st phase just gets pushed aside for phase 2? This is not leaving a good taste in my mouth?? You gotta fix the 1st phase before rolling out 2 and 3..but ghis is their show and not mine..i just feel like i havent been fully kept up with and now i gotta wait on mine while people get great new shiny worjibg units?? Not cool in my book but cant win them all..my mighty and fury still trucking..

I’ll be honest they had issues with phase 1. It’s not uncommon. With phase 2 they corrected all those issues and knew what to look for. You cannot fault them for that. Rather I would fault them if they didn’t learn and keep rolling out same issues with the units on the newer phases. Also at the end of the day haze will fix your unit or sent a replacement. Not to mention the one free upgrade you get for being a pre order.

I agree. The CS from Haze has been good and many improvements have already been made. Also when I ordered I kind of already had the impression that my unit might not arrive perfectly due to the early stages of production. I feel like this is to be expected with any "pre-release" type product.
