Multi-brand HEALTHY RIPS FURY

Hi,

I'm the owner of a fury 2 for about 3 weeks now, and I really appreciate it!
I orderd it after reading maybe 60 pages of this thread, so I wanted to thank you. I planned to use it exclusively with the WPA, but the dosing capsules are so convenient, even if I use it exclusively at home. Unfortunately, as lots you reported, the standard mouthpiece tastes plastic. Battery life is the only other downside but with a unit that small we can't blame HR, it's a pretty good compromise and it heats so fast I can't complain or deniy the efficiency.
I can make 2-3 sessions with the same load so it's perfect for microdosing, the size and shape are perfect too.
WPA is great, really nice taste, but it scratches the Fury bowl and leaves marks, is it the same with yours? Don't know if I should worry about that.
It replaced my omnivap use for light buzz between the first and last sessions of the day with the mighty. As someone asked, in my experience, I can see more vapor with the fury, but I feel it more in my throat with the mighty. And I get more medicated with the mighty, I can't explain why.
One thing surprised me, the device gets really hot compared to the mighty (the only other battery powered vape I had the chance to try), I read some of you made 2 sessions back to back, I do it too but I wonder if it doesn't damage the battery. Maybe the timer is set to 4 minutes for health/security purpose. Obviously I don't care about buying a new unit, I care for what I inhale and that hot electronic thing so close to my face, as I know nothing about electronic. Is it the same with other vapes?
To finish, as everyone mentioned, customer service is top notch, shipping to Europe fast and without issue for those who hesitate. I didn't want to order on Vaposhop because I wanted the free bubble (didn't try it as it looks hard to maintain clean), the SS basket screens, and the 3x5 dosing capsules. And even with shipping costs is was cheaper on HR website than vaposhop.
So thank you all once again, and thank you Healthy Rips!

One last thing I forgot, it fits perfectly in a 1010 Pelican Case with my material container, the nano black magic MFLB grinder, a brush, the wax tool, and maybe the 5mL centrifuge tube for caps (waiting for delivery).

[TL;DR] Love it, can't ask more for the price after 3 weeks of use. Would be the perfect unit with two things: full glass mouthpiece and swappable batteries. Mighty still stays my favorite (not the same price range so comparison isn't fair), but I use the Fury more and it replaced my omnivap.

It has more or less the same heat to dissipate through a smaller (surface) package. It makes sense it would get hotter to the touch?

I would not worry about back to back sessions, I sure don't. I strongly suspect the 4 minutes is intended to give more sessions with the very limited total battery available. I too usually run two (four minute) sessions per capsule, but not necessarily 'in a row'. I've even been know to start it up and take a few hits and shut it down.......

I have a question.

Does anybody else here a little rattling when you shake the fury up and down? It sounds like the bowl is a little loose on my unit and I was wondering if that was fine or normal?

The only time I hear a rattle is when I have a dosing cap in the unit. Otherwise, no rattle. I'd contact HR.

Has anyone tried vaping just hash using the conc pads? Does it work or is there another way to vape just hash with the F2?

I just posted on this yesterday. Yes, the pads work well. I wouldn't put a lot on at any given time. I am fearful of some oil seeping into the bottom of the heater. But with a rice grain amount it works very well. I've also tried smearing some hash oil on a little organic cotton and placing it in a dosing cap. The pads give a bigger hit in comparison for me.

@ataxian I love my Fury 2 as a go to portable. Very civilized, especially with the GSC.

And where did everyone go? Or no more questions or comments because this device is so easy and has so few problems? The thread had fallen to the lowest level(page 2 of the portable thread list OMG!) since I started visiting back in December! Or is everyone just out enjoying the weather and their vape?
I definitely think it’s because it’s such a simple, reliable vape! It’s a No-Drama Vape.

Edit: Piece of Cake Vape.

I hear nothing in mine. You should reach out to HR about it.

For the last week or so my units airflow has gotten worse and worse, now even with nothing in the chamber it still feels like I'm trying to suck a frozen milkshake. I've tried cleaning multiple times still same. Any ideas?
Any chance your finger is covering the airholes on the bottom?

As OF noted and from your additional info, you likely have an obstruction in the air path below the chamber. Not sure if it would work but could one try blowing into the mouthpiece when attached and there is an empty chamber? If you have no success perhaps a burnoff like series of runs with you forcing the heat into the lower air path. If it works see if you can get some capsules to use in the future. I think that would help you from running into the problem again. Just my two cents and many would concur it usually falls way short of that in value...

So I did a bunch of burn offs and tried blowing air but I don't think it made any difference

Happens to everyone @Cjisohsocool ...check it out and let us know.

.

Now that would of been bad lol no I made sure I was thinking the intake

What do you see looking down into the bottom of the bowl, are the holes blocked mechanically? I just checked on mine, which is working well, all the holes are open and you can see a flat surface below them clearly with good light. As I expected, no light makes it through all the stuff on the way to the vent (sometimes a useful tool in cases like this, plugged filters and such).

Anyway, are all the holes sharp edged and clear of any debris?

Love dose l’il caps—for the Fury!

Thank you, @HealthyRips.com. :tup::clap:

But, being tiny, easy to lose.

Having lost one in the spring grass, I took a step to advoid some more being lost:

A plastic cylinder with an ID of 10mm, repurposed, cut to hold 4 dose caps (one preloaded in Fury).

Hoping not to lose more. Easily, and neatly, tucked into a belt case. Walla! ;)

(An alternative, a dosing fob, holds two DC, & one in HR’s tiny Fury.)

That's a tough one. I think you need to send it on in to HR for a checkup.

Gather the ranks of your other vapes and choose your wingman vape to get you through the wait time. These are the times that try men's souls. Be strong my friend.

Just curious if it's been brought up previously, I would prefer the display be rotated 180 degrees. This would make it easier to see the display for some and allow the buttons to be pressed by finger tips while maintaining better grip instead of having the thumb fumble between them all.

got my fury 2 today... And like it a lot... big clouds... no harsh vapor even at the highest setting for me...
fast heat up time... efficient (used less then 0.1g and got 5 to 9 nice vapor clouds...

only cons are: the taste could be better (but yeah it is a convection/conduction hyrbrid and I only used high temps)
and I did not like the plastic smell of the device fresh out the box...

but I think this is the portable vape already available which will fullfill my portable needs...

I did not expect the fury2 to be so good...

which temps are you using... which temps are ideal for nice vapor clouds and taste... are you temp stepping (at which temp do you start if you do....)

I like the fury more then the crafty I had in the past...

Try 340F step up to 350, 360, 375, the taste are so good and you dont believe the cloudy vapor could come out from these low temp:brow:, i will finish it at 420 with water piece at home at night, dosing capsule working so good in this way.

and FYI, if you have vapcap's cap, that is a good tool to fill the dosing capsule:tup:

Battery question: if the li-po battery has a shelf life of 300 charge cycles, does that mean it has 600 cycles if you always recharge it from half full?

I temp step differently each time, usually ending around 420F. I start at 350-355 and the cloud production on those first few draws is INSANE for such a low temp. But then it gets weird, by the time I get to 420, vapor production has dropped off significantly despite my load having plenty of life left. I dont get it. Makes me wonder if the heater is overdelivering at those low temps and underdelivering at the high temps.

Ive been starting at 350F and the cloud production on those first few draws is INSANE for such a low temp. But then it gets weird, by the time I get to 420, vapor production has dropped off significantly despite my load having plenty of life left. So ive been saving the AVB for my vapcap and getting more vapor out of it than I can in the Fury at 425F. I dont get it. Makes me wonder if the heater is overdelivering at those low temps and underdelivering at the high temps.

And i never had any plastic smell. I did a few burnoffs and an iso swab and when I fired it up after that I smelled nothing but a fresh clean oven (smells nice).

I also have a question regarding charging is it better for lipo batteries to discharge them and then charge them or doesn´t it make a difference for their lifetime when charging when batteries for example are half full...

I am really impressed from this little vape (fury2)...

Hey guys, I'm currently debating on getting the Fury 2 or the ArGo, anyone has both so he can recommend me the best one? I want something portable, stealthy and durable.

I have both, but hesitate to make such a subjective call for you. Both fit all 3 of those requirements more or less equally IMO. Durable is always a big question with new to the market vapes. Arizer has a history of excellent vapes with Solo/Air so would probably make a good vape? Then again, ArGo is a new design not using any parts form Solo/Air (except the 18650 which it shares with Air II?). F2 ha a serious price advantage and the capsules are nice/convenient which ArGo doesn't offer.......
