If I could turn back time, I would swap my Omni Ti for an XL. I grabbed the regular sized one only because they didn’t have XL stash’s at the time and now I wish I would have just grabbed the XL. I absolutely LOVE my Omni but the added length would be great!
Also to anyone looking at the anodized stuff, there are some DIY videos on YouTube for anodizing titanium. I can’t afford to buy another Omni so I decided I’m going to try to anodize mine myself. The videos make it look really simple, and relatively cheap as well. After about $30 spent, I should have materials to anodize multiple pieces, multiple times with the only real consumable being the “etch” material. I’ll post pictures (if I can figure it out) once I manage to pull it off.

The XL length is really nice. It doesn't seem like much, but now I find it hard to go back to my regular length Omnis.

@Gigsabits53 I'm another believer in the XL length or longer. The only two body sized VC I have are for using with a WP or J Hook. I've even modded my '18 M into an XL with a Titanium mouthpiece. In fact, I'm going to hit that before I head out to mow the lawn.

My prettiest VC is still my first Blackwood Woody-S that has a gen3 tip and is standard size. I have a nice Paduk DS for it. Sadly it rarely gets used anymore in favor of the Ti OmniXL when out and the Vongs at home with my IH.
I have no intention of parting with it, and I'm sure there will be times I will use it, but it has definitely taken a back seat to the XL vapes. The Vong I usually use at home is not XL either, but since it is paired with the IH (rather than spinning in a torch) size doesn't matter at all.

Doh! I never imagined that they would have them in the dynabuilder when by omission from the parts page they are sorta implying there's none in stock. Limited supply, I know, but still.... I needed only the cocobolo stem and XL condenser/MP to build my Nonavong and was disappointed that I could not purchase cocobolo at that time. I did get a cocobolo MP, but it is essentially all black LOL.
Soooooo, I guess I could surrender to the inevitable and order the coco Omni sooner than later

It is cocobolo, I can tell by the warmth. The ebony is a true black.
That mouthpiece would match my stem nice, it's more maroon then the more typical reddish orange tones of cocobolo.
I'd post in the buy/sell but don't have the required 50 posts.

I only touch my regular sized Vapcaps if there is no XL version at hand. I really appreciate the extra length, for handling (my hands are larger than Donald's) and also for that little bit of extra performance that I really feel, compared to the regular ones. I easier manage to get bigger and nicer clouds out of my XLs, for example.

Hmm in a post awhile back the magic flight orbiter came up. It was mentioned that it won't work with a mouthpiece but It does, the mouthpiece just sits against the downtube. It's actually nice cuz it fits looser so pulling it out to use as a shotgun doesn't jam like using a body or stem vong

I have small female hands and I have come to prefer the XL Vapcaps. I take my regular length, body clad Vapcaps out and about with me because they are only 3.5 inches long. Easy to pocket.
But at home, it's the 4.25 inch long XLs all the way.
If I had to choose one or the other, it would be the XL hands down. Once you try an XL, you never go back.
